Chancellor Yeh Zhao Feng has approved Xia Ying's, Minister of Trade and Domestic Economics, Free Trade Agreement with Japan and Dra-Pol.
The Parliament has passed an Agreement with the French for a similiar treaty enacted with the Russians. The Treaty would allow Free Trade, and French territories will be governed by the Chinese government in a gurantee that the Chinese will keep pirates and illegal activities abolished. Selected French territies will allow the Chinese to construct naval and air bases.
The Chinese government has asked the Beth Gellert and east islandian governments to investigate on the submarine incident which happened near East Islandian Waters while the Chinese were on an escort mission to EI. The ships were escorting Refugee ships which were carrying Island natives, Igovian, and French troops when FOUR torpedos were shot directly at Chinese ships. All torpedos were repelled using the Anti-Torpedo system, which had used decoys. The BG government had denied any involvement especially when they had no nuclear power submariens while the one that was destroyed was nuclear based.
Yes, Yes, good idea.

When the news that the Frenchking was coming, the Chinese showed no sign of excitement. The general populous had not supported China, France, and Russia's signings of the treaties. Even the Beijing Imperial Beautification comittee, along with the Imperial palace organizing council delayed plans to clean up Beijing and decorate the palace.
However, they were all ordered to work after direct orders by Chancellor Yeh. Hundreds of Chinese Nationalist Troops practiced goose walking through Tiananmen Square and had offered Tourists a chance to see them up close.
Imperial Banners were hung beside the large signs, "Long Live the People's Republic of China", and "Long live the Great Unity of the World's Peoples"
The signs were kept as a symbol of a democratic China, and Mao's image was removed and was replaced with the founding father. Beijing was completely modernized, along with the palace, which was completely renovated into having electricity, plumbing, and became a modern palace.
The French will be welcomed by a grand Imperial Army, along with a brief tour of the the palace. A Private conference will follow in the People's Hall.
OOC:Waiting for the French to arrive before I start the Welcoming Celebrations and the troop review march.
Monarch One had finished its taxi onto the tarmack of Beijing International, and with the ringing of trumpets the cabin doors were thrown open.
There, for the first time in history, the Chinese would behold a French King in the Middle Kingdom.
His Most Christian Majesty was dressed in a blue Court Suit, its fabrics constituting silk, velvet, and a cape of mink and erymine. Louis XX wore his hair plated and powdered, a beautiful and heavily plumed tricorner sitting atop of it. Across his chest was the cordon bleu of the Ordu du Saint Louis, at his hip hung a golden hilted sword. As his black eyes took in Beijing, his face was indifferent and supremely confident...the image of the Sun King.
Standing by His Majesty's side was Queen Marie Therese, dressed in a breathtaking white silk gown, dotted with sterling silver fleur-de-lys. Her hair was pulled up and tucked under a three foot tall wig, dusted with the powder of pearls.
Both wore their face powdered and rouged, and descended rather than walked down the jet bridge, hand in hand.
Already gathered at the foot of the bridge were the Grade Suisse, the personal and elite Bodyguards of their Majesties. With a 'Huzzah!' they clapped their halberks to their chests as the Sun King and the Moon floated by. Standing, then, side by side on a red carpet were the monarchs of France. The Herald of State came forward, and in a booming voice proclaimed:
"May it please the Celestial Emporer! Their Majesties Louis XX and His Queen, Marie-Therese!"

OCC: I'm not quite sure where to put this, but here:
IC:
Parliament Drafts Carton Act
In an effort to repair Indo-Chinese relations, Hindustani Parliament has come up with the obscurely-named Carton act, perhaps referring to the Dickens character Sydney Carton in some respect.
But anyhow...
The Carton Act will call for the demilitarization of the Hindustan-Chinese border, and provide for the removal of troops and disassembly of major facilities along the border itself. It will establish Gilgit as an independent and neutral state, a sort of bridge between India and China, and will provide for the disassembly of major defensive works.
It is hoped that the move will be interpreted as proof of India's, or at least Hindustan's, desire for normal and cordial relations with its northern neighbor.
OOC:The links to the clothing are for imagery purposes. The first picture is of the Great Chinese General, Chiang Kai Shek. A much more impressive uniform is worn by the Emperor.
Out to greet them at the airport, Chancellor Yeh Zhao Feng, and Lady Yeh, who both wore elegant uniforms. Yeh was in an unusual prussian styled uniform in black:

while Lady Yeh wore a beautiful red Hanfu:http://www.pix8.net/pro/pic/11535flZJ7/290330.jpg
The Yeh's were accompanied by Chinese Imperial Troops, who outnumbered the French Guards one to 10. The grand welcoming of a foreign Emperor, a first in many years have turned the whole celebration into a vibrant party.

The Heart of the Chinese Government.
The french Emperor was to make a stop at the People's Hall to give a speech before the Chinese Parliament. Following the speech, Chinese officials and their French counterparts will be discussing on the issues concerning the future of China and France.
An awkward site it may have been for Emperor Louis XX the usual bow was not seen except for the several French students. The Chinese has pledged loyalty to Emperor Zhang Fu Guo and were forbidden to kneel before foreign dignitaries.
The Carton Act will be reviewed by the Parliament, and seems to be a 50/50 on the pro's and con's. The Chinese will surely take this seriously.
Chancellor Yeh has asked Liu to reconsider the role in heading Chinese troops to participate in the Joint military excercises proposed by East Islandia.

Need something clarified - Is the head of the Chinese Catholic Church still the Vatican, or is it someone else (i.e there has been a schism, more than likely in fact given the CCP's stance on religion in the past)
90% of all church officials in PR China were secretly approved by the Vatican.
And besides, the PRC and Vatican, currently are trying to develope ties, and because Taiwan is united anyways, the Vatican Church will be able to exist in China.
Most officials and people in the state Sanctioned, Patriotic CHurch of China at heart, held allegiance to the vatican.

With tensions between Hindustan and China decreasing steadily, Parliament sees it fit to finally establish a more permanent embassy in Beijing, and invites the Chinese to do likewise in Mumbai.
The border force's strength along the Chinese-Pakistani frontier is reduced to a mere two battalions' worth of standing troops, with the rest of those regiments and battalions (the border force formerly numbering upwards of 200,000) being distributed along the Afghani frontier as a quick-reaction peacekeeping and stabilization force for Central Asia, to the Iranian border, and to the coast.
There is already strong support in Parliament for the opening of trans-border airline flights, with a number of carriers stepping up to reserve space at the few large-capacity airports in the northern provinces. A team of diplomats is quickly sent to China with the intention of presenting the parliament there with a list of points for Indo-Chinese cooperation and co-existence.
These include the establishment of embassies in the respective capitals, a range of other goodwill gestures including assistance in railroad construction, and the formation of a common central asian policy.
Parliament is only too happy about China's new democratic outlook and is eager to establish friendly relations with the more amicable neighbor to the north. This is not to alienate Beth Gellert, but any nation must understand that Hindustan and Beth Gellert, while very close ideologically and domestically, have slightly different foreign policy outlooks. While the Igovian Soviet Commonwealth will, without a doubt, remain Hindustan's most important associate for some time, Parliament recognizes the urgent need to establish a climate of friendliness and understanding with formerly hostile China.
An embassy has already been chosen in Tianjin's International District, where many other foreign embassies were located.
The National Congress has agreed on reducing the number troops near the Chinese-Pakistani border. However, it will have to go through the Imperial Parliament (Emperor) before any decisions on military numbers are made.
Charter flights from LRR to China, via Xinjiang and Tibet were to be discarded and all Chinese cities have been opened to travel fromLRR.
*Assume LRR Representatives had arrived in Beijing, China. They are in the ImperialParliament and will be received by their Chinese counter-parts.
There are thousandsof CHinese troops near Central Asia. The Chinese and the Russian governments have agreed on building and operating Chinese bases in Central Asia.
