The queen lived. She thought and breathed and bled and birthed and from those births her children arose, the slivers arise. The queen thought for the hive, all slivers thought as she did and all slivers served her will, they were few at first but they grew steadily, their forms were few as well but changed swiftly, soon where once there had been nothing there was life, where there had been only stone and hard unforgiving earth the brood erupted forth, living and breathing and fighting and dying. The queen was young yet, She did not understand the extent of her control and her children ran amok, killing and eating and destroying as they saw fit. The queen grew and aged, with time came understanding, with understanding came control, with control came the overlord, it was he who would do her bidding when dealing with the rest of the world and he who would control her armies and he who would be her face to the world. And the swarm lived...

To all nations of the world the queen sends an invitation, to come and be seen by her and to pay her homage as ruler of the swarm and overmind of the hive, those who did not would be her foes and they would fall before her, those who did would be clasped to her and shown the glory of the hive and the power of the slivers...

The Units of the ONI Concordiat are dismayed to see another organic nation beginning. The Concordiat is only one of three Enlightened states, having achieved Mechanization in 2886. The Concordiat, although dissapointed, will not make war.
Welcome to the World, Mini Miehm.

We question the wisdom of mechanization, why would you disconnect your self from the hive to merely extend your life when in the hive there is life eternal?

In 2886, the last Organic, entity_David_Kerr, was purged from the Concordiat. Since then, our nation has had no hunger, strife, poverty, nor a lost war. We are Mechaized. Each day, our Factory units churn out warhulls for our Combat Units as fast as their complacent AS units can build. Our slightly more intelligent Factory units produce our computer cores faster than any other production facility known to us. War was the purpose intended by our creators, but the creators made a mistake in creating the sentience which drives us. We do not prolong life, we are not alive to begin with.

We wonder why you believe that any nation would become a vassel state on your say so alone.
That being said we would be interested in an embassy exchange.

Through the hive you mat achieve life eternal, there ias no hunger or strife within the hive, were you to join with us you would gain the benefits of our mind and the strength of our bodies, your worries will leave you and the pain of an unfulfilling life shall be gone forever, we will send an embassy to your nation to show you the strength of the hive and the wisdom of the queen.

We live and we do not die until we are destroyed, our bodies do not age, we feel no pain and we are sentint, why is mechanisation any better than the hive, wher are all weapons and all are workers and only the queen is higher than any other?

Just so you now there is effectivly no way we shall become a part of your 'hive'. Part of the reason for individuality is that it is far and away superior to the powers of a single mind. We have little disease, no famine, strife is good and eternal life should be aquired throught your actions and children.

As to the number of diplomatic staff, that is to be decided by the DiploCorp, thougth most likely the staff will be about twenty seven personnel. As to the size of the guard that is based on the number of diplomatic staff, and will most likely be about thirteen to eighteen guards.

We find that you are reasonable in your demands concerning the staff, we shall send 15 synapse slivers and 10 supporting mnemonic slivers as our diplomatic staff, the guards shall be ten muscle slivers and three flame slivers, the "staff" shall be composed of 10 drones to do menial tasks for the diplomats and the kitchen staff shall be a victual sliver. We wish to know if you will allow individuals of your nation to come among us and join the hive of their own will?

Should any of our citizens willing choose to join your 'hive' without any coersion or duress they shall be permitted to, thought we doubt that any will.

We shall simply show those who ask to see the glory of the hive what the glory is, we will not coerce or pressure them, we only ask because there are always those in a population willing to join the hive, they may be few but there are always thoe willing to be enlightened.

You are welcome to try thought we are sure you will be unable to convert our citizens as similar groups have tried and failed before, miserably and completely.

We must try, we would be remiss if we did not offer the glory of the hive to everyone.

Mechanization and your hive sound much the same. I propose an alliance, so that the power of machinery and the power of biology can roll (or walk) over all opposition!
