Today in Madrid, Kaiser Martens has established a new protectorate, a new "Kaiser Martens Protektorat", Arcognus. It is notable how this was not reached through violence but by negotiation, as Martens' long time friend, Arco of Arcognus, decided it'd be better for both of their nations. They've signed the Pact of Madrid, handing over Sovereignty to Kaiser Martens, although he allows Arco to decide by himself in most of the aspects of the country, and provided extensive economy-related help, and unified both Armies. Most of the people of Arcognus accepted this happily, as they know how Kaiser Martens' Länder are well known for their great economy, great army, great system, and top-notch civil rights above all other Silberunion members (The region where Arcognus and KM are among with others), and see this as a new era through which both nations will reach even higher to the skies.
Some of the main points of the Madrid Pact:
El Pacto De Madrid-
Arcognus becomes a Kaiser Martens Protectorate.
KM is granted full sovereingty onto the Arconian territory.
There will be a defensive-offensive military pact, and full alliance.
Arcognus' leader will have autonomy regarding Inner Affairs.
Free trade and free transport, no need of passport between the two lands.
Both of the members are to help each other financially should the need arise, to keep standards high so one Land may not be significantly poorer than the other.

Afterwards the Kaiser expressed his happiness regarding this issue and added one of his characteristic phrases. "Unity is strength, we've now become much stronger, noone can ever deny our logic." before there was held a medium sized parade of the KM and the AR forces combined, and later on the two friends went have some nice dinner at Paris, one of the Capitals of the Martens Kaiserreich.
