First, let me admit off the bat I haven't RPed yet in Nationstates. This is mostly beacuse I have yet to find one that seems interesting enough to me. Now, from what I have seen most of the RPs out there are either Fantasy or Science Fiction. How would people react to one that, while not an RP that happens on earth itself, would more or less parallel the tech and times of the 1900s-1950s. That would leave us in a nice technology level well recorded in our own history, and nothing too wild could be tossed in to overbalance. (No super, country destroying lasers. No ultimate unit destroying griffon of vengence, ect. Just good ol' WWI and WWII techs... though using them in unexpected manners would be permissable.) If you've interest in this sort of "semi-historical" RP drop a post. (Or if there is one going that I've missed. Also would be nice for someone with experiance to head this if it takes off.)
Edit: Note that this would be almost more like a game of risk then anything, though the leaders of the world powers would be meeting and such as well and forming alliances in a very RPish manner.
