The Planet Federation Formerly Announces that a International Dinner will be held on the 20th of may (Real Time) in the Goatine Castle on the Federation planet of forall.

This dinner is to celebrate the almost complete destruction of the Confella Terrorist Network in the Federation its also to reconize the Union of the Nation of forall into the planet federation.




If you wish to have a reservation to this dinner please let me know by posting the members of your nation who will be at the dinner and the name of your nation.

The Nation of Vanhalenburgh is honored to attend your state dinner. However President Williams will not be able to attend and sends his deepest regrets. Vice President Gattone and Defence Minister Rowlands will be attending with their wives.

Prime Minister John Jacobi sat down for his daily meeting with the Chief of Strategic Operations and the Deputy Prime Minister, in his old-fashioned office. The walls were decorated both by mahogany panels on the lower-half, and elegantly decorated, deep red wallpaper on the top half. The ceiling was similarly elegant, with an assortment of gold patterns on a white background.

His mahogany desk was equally old-fashioned and elegant. Despite obvious attempts at renovation, it was seemingly quite old and battered, with occasional scratches and chips taken out of its smooth surface. The top of the desk was home to a messy assortment of papers, as well as an advanced-looking computer tablet. The big window behind the desk sported a small bench, above which could be seen the vast, sprawling metropolis of New London. The Gothic nature of the huge skyscrapers was only made duller by the deep black clouds which covered the sky, spewing rain down on the city below.

Jacobi sat down in the luxurious leather swivel chair and put his feet up on the desk, taking the tablet computer in hand whilst he made a few notes on it. Admiral Rochester sat down in his red-and-white officer's uniform on one of the chairs in front of the desk, whilst Alex Munro, Deputy Prime Minister, took a seat next to him.

"OK then," Jacobi broke the silence after a long pause. "What business do we have today?"

"Well Prime Minister, today is Wednesday, so you have PM's Question Time in the Commons," Munro told him. He too held a tablet computer, and read off a list the various issues he wanted to raise. "I understand that the Leader of the Opposition wants to bring up the issue of pollution on Planet Leeds again."

"Ah, that old issue again," Jacobi sighed. "It didn't win any votes for her last time, I don't know why she keeps bringing it up -- I'm doing all I can. Well, I'll come up with some responses to that later. What else?"

"We've received another three bomb threats from the Mollys and the Gaians," Rochester said in a gruff voice. He was the only one without a tablet computer in hand, instead reciting his issues from memory. "No idea where they are threatening to hit, but I'm already preparing to deploy additional fighter squadrons to all vulnerable planets and bases. They'll probably be more hoaxes like last week, but you can never be too careful. In addition, we have a large number of ships currently undergoing refit, and I am thinking of redeploying three battleships to cover for the gaps in our defenses."

"Quite so," Jacobi nodded. "I'll issue a statement to the press this afternoon. And I trust ship deployments to your capable hands. Anything else?"

"You already know of the campaign to legalise 'certain' drugs sir," Munro said. "The leaders of those groups have requested another meeting with you on the issue. Most importantly today, a personal invitation from the nation 'The Planet Federation' has come through, as well as a more generic international one. They intend to host a dinner later this month, celebrating numerous things including the conclusion of the recent 'Forall' incident."

"Ah yes," Jacobi nodded. "I was wondering whether they went ahead with that union or not. Craft a standard diplomatic response accepting their invitation. I'm not sure whether or not I'll be able to go, but you know what Queen Carina is like; she'll jump at the chance."

"Very well sir," Munro nodded. "I'll get that done as soon as possible. And about the druggies?"

"Popular opinion is against legalisation of Cardamine," Jacobi shrugged. "The doctors are against it due to the whole 'genetic breakdown' thing. I personally am against it. So stall them."

"Very good sir," Munro nodded again.

"Is there anything else?" Jacobi asked.

"Nothing more for now, sir," Munro shook his head. Rochester said nothing, but also shook his head.

"Alright then, let's get to work," Jacobi said, clapping his hands together enthusiastically. The Admiral and the Deputy Prime Minister both nodded, stood, bowed, and exited his office in a hurry.

Please be aware, that should Prime Minister Jacobi be unable to attend this event, Her Royal Majesty Queen Carina will go in his place. Regardless of who attends, they will be accompanied by no less than three aides and ten Armed Forces Royal Guards, for their personal defence of course. The HMS Dover, already present at your borders, will move to escort their vessel safely as they arrive.

Prime Minister Jacobi looks forward to attending this event, and will be disappointed if his other duties prevent him from doing so. He hopes to see you later this month. He also issues his congratulations for the successful unification of your nation with that of Planet Forall, and wishes you both good luck for the future.
