Colony Sweetwater - Representatives of the Super-power government have announced Project Victory, a military plan to improve Super-power's military.

Our Z Plus MS lines are the backbone of our military. Their strength is vital to us; however, we wish to further diversify our Mobile Suit forces. That is why we have developed the LM312V04 Victory Gundam (http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/v/lm312v04.jpg). While it sports a number of weapons the same as the Z Plus, (beam sabers, beam rifles), it also has some improvements: it can mount Variable Speed Beam Rifles (VSBR), capable of penetrating eny beam-based defense; and beam shielding, which is much stronger than physical shields.

OCC:Nothing personel but Gundams arn't the greatest FT item. The fact that you simply take out the leggs and they topple or can't move in space. If you waste the head the pilot is in a sense "blind" and can only use emergency cammeras or open the cockpit to get a good view. It's also why I picked variable fighter thanks to the fact that they can go into humaniod form and if the head is blown off go back to hybrid or fighter form and view the fight through the cockpit. But hey everyone has a choice and I'm just pointing out alittle flaw in the gundams. Other than that good picks for them some of the more interesting ones.

You've obviously never looked into the technology behind them. While it's true that if you destroy the legs in earth combat they're helpless, they have amazing manueverability in space, even without legs. There's also back up cameras in case the head is lost. Granted, they're not as good, but it gets the job done. Mobile suits form the backbone of my military too. When you RP like this, you've got to do all your homework.

I know this myself since I to use mobile suit like units (Destroids actualy from the Macross/Robotech series). And with the use of variable fighters that boast the weaponry of a small corvette you also need to do your homework and find the flaws in the tech and try and strengthen then. Though variable fighters are a slightly better choice because the speed they can achieve can number in the area of extremely high speed fighters though they lack the armor of a mobile suit they can easily shred a mobile suit if the pilot is capable.

It's also why I picked variable fighter
Actually, both the Gundam Murasame and Victory Gundam can transform into a fighter jet-like form if necessary (OOC: While they both are transformable models from their respective Gundam series, I decided to keep Victory Gundam non-transformable because too many transformable models ruins the RP)
