This is just out of curiosity. When you started RPing, who was the very first ally you ever made? Are they still your ally? Are they still around? My first ally ever was Jordaxia, who is still my tried-and-true ally. Unfortunately, he doesn't RP anymore. :(

Back when I was Hadula, during the invasion of Demonic Terrorists, my first "mutual friend" was Sharina when we attempted to keep Communist Mississippi (whom became Decisive Action, then VoteEarly, then Nothingness) from doing all sorts of horrible things. Was quite fun.

Space Union was my first true proper ally. =)

Back when I was Nuevo Kowloon, I started out with an alliance with Aust. I sacrificed the bulk of my early military holding 'blood pass' in the Aust vs. Elvindom war.

Aust ran a Coup a bit later, and it ended up with us being at war. WMD's aren't nice when you have severely limited land-area.

I wound up dropping off NS for a while to deal with REAL LIFE, and by the time I was able to come back, the account was dead, the forums moved, so I started from dead-zero over, currently my 'first' under the name 'Cadillac-Gage' is Nellisland, and the DAFP. There's been a couple of half-aborted RP's and we haven't finished setting up the full terms of the Alliance yet.

Lies, I still plod around occassionally. :D I just got bored and fed up of MTRP after it became stat-obsessive... couldn't go anywhere without either being nuked, or overan with stats from some economy calculator somewhere. Then after I wandered out... It's very difficult to come back. I'm so lazy.

EDIT: my first ally was British communists, if I recall.

It was, and still is, Kaymiril. Not really a war-like nation, but they hold their own very well. So, hats off to her, and I hope our alliance continues for many years

The Dominion of Zorbus, and he is no longer around. We were orginally regional allies, back when a bulk of the RPing I did was purely regional. I now have a 'Republic of Zorbus' in the Free Republic, named after him.

My first two allies were allied to me at the same time, Crimsdale and Imperial Artica. Both have been deleted.

Neuvo Kowloon was deleted for inactivity - I know that Aust destroyed him in a war [im sure of it]although he could have left because of something there.

My first true ally as my first nation (The Canadian Tundra), and enemy, was Hattia. Well, actually, there was an RP sign up thread and I was fairly new and signed up, so me, Fulovit (I believe) and I forget who else invaded Hattia and another nation. I ended up pulling out and Hattia and I declared a truce between us two, even though he could have easily wiped out my nation. A few NS decades later, we ended up allying and he helped me out in a civil war.

As Veredia (my FT nation) my first ally also happened to be my first enemy, and he happened to be my closest and best ally, and most hated enemy (a hell of a love/hate relationship between our nations) which was Corpsac.

As this nation, my first ally...not quite sure off the top of my head.

I believe mine was actually a group: GUDA (Global United Defence Alliance). Dedicated to countering nuclear and ballistic missile threats. Most members were somewhat 'old' even when WA was created and have long since left NS.

My first ally was EVER was Pacitalia. He was the one that got me on NS years ago lol but in that time frame I was originally Moepoeia, then Sora lovers and then PFM Inc. But all though out that time that I was going through RL and NS times he was my one true ally. Our countries ties run deep as well as our real life friendship. Yeah he is and will always be (at least I hope) my one and true ally. Currently he also is my only ally. heehee :rolleyes:

My first ally was Dryd he's long gone. He rped using the ** though, while I used story format. We fought in some war called the whore war when I first got here. Didn't know how to rp properly until I started reading other rps. I actually think it was Iuthia who I first had a war rp we were on opposite sides...not a definite though though it probably was another I-nation.

Well, Telliria was the first person to help me against my first rebellion but he dropped out without warning and the Borman Empire stepped up to the plate, though I nearly ignored him for godmoding my modern tech rebellion rp ;)

My first ally was Halberdanger, who was recently deleted. Other of my early allies were Dracun Imperium and Nikolaos the Great, both of which aren't really allies anymore.

I remember when i first started NS i joined the Communist International, i think i had about 40 million people in my nation, heh. So i had like 23 first Allies.

If I recall correctly it was ViZion or Neo-Earth. If it was Vi then we first interacted in the first acigoo war and have been good allies since. Hell we still goof off everyonce and a while.

Nueve Italia, i believe. Although, we havent contacted each other since their civil war ended. There's also Hakurabi.

I think... hm. Probably Greenhome or Tuesday Heights (both inactive, sadly, Greenhome is deated and TH stopped playing).

First strictly IC ally was Terra Pacifica (long since inactive), first IC and OOC ally was Majesto (still active, just doesn't RP).

The Zoogie People. He's still active. IC friends. OOC friendly and talkative.

My first ally... Ooohh... Umm. Well, with my first nation (Former Soviet Nations) it was probably Tappee, although that wasn't really an alliance, more like them helping me in... What was it? A rebellion I believe, and that's where Soviet Bloc was born...

And my first ally as SB, I do not know. October, November, and December are blank in mind. I remember Crookfur and Zvarinograd helped me design the DP-21 (well, provided stuff for it) and you wouldn't believe it, but I still use it, even after a year and a half... And because of that, I've always had a high opinion of those two.

And well, I cannot think of who my first ally was (I want to say Communist Rule but he wasn't around until December). If anyone could remember anything about Soviet Bloc in October, November, and December of 2003, please tell me, its a blank period in my mind and I can't remember any of it, well at least not until late, late Dec. 2003.

Mine was Zossen, still is - he gets deleted regularly, and then he requests to me to get him back up.

OOC: I suppose I could consider myself to have two first allies and two first enemies, since I had 'The Republic of Austar' back in May 03, and it died of inactivity until I returned with the now known 'The Absolutionist State of Austar Union'. I dont remember all that much about the original Austar to be honest, I remember that I somehow ended up forming some huge alliance by pure accident but neglected it because I was just a newb at the time. So I dont remember who my first ally was, but I can say that my first enemy was originally Pantera, where him and I ended up both on opposing sides of another nation's internal conflict. It turned out for a little while into a cold war with no real armed battle on either side. After that I went and invaded another country called 'Esamopia', but from there I got too busy for NS and let my nation die.

As for the Austar Union, you could say that my first proper alliance was with the United States of Credonia. Around about that time, I had discovered the IADF in its original form and decided to help Credonia and the others found it. From there, my nation actually grew closer to Credonia until basically we operated as one unit. And so we wandered around International Incidences in a crusade against terrorist nations and the organisations themselves. Save to say, it was quite successful forming a kind of nation which could be related to current day Amercia somewhat, for their more aggressive foriegn policy. That died after a while however around about the time we were named the two most evil nations of Nationstates. Though I speculate at who really was the good and bad guys there!

The Austar Union's first proper enemy would have to be Holy Panooly I would say, commonly known now as Guffingford. That was a part of Mine and Credonia's fight against the terrorists, and I ended up linking Panooly to a few forces. From there it lasted for about nine real months a cold war really between Credonia, the Austar Union, and their allies, and Holy Panooly, Huzen Hagen, and their allies. How it ended is up to speculation, but I ended up getting bored with the whole anti-terrorist bananza when Credonia bailed out of the war against terror. The fool! Nah, just joking Credonia.

Sarzonia was my first ally and we are still allies. He sells my inventions in his storefronts and my king married his ambassador to my nation. My second ally, I can't say since I grew to admire RB and TIOR at about the same time and consider both as allies.

Nova Hope, who questioned one of my RP posts - and that started the snowball. He's partially inactive due to RL concerns.

Communist Likon I belive, back in the Great Armion Colony war, or something like that...

My first ally formally was New Kazakhstan (I don't think they exsist anymore) and my first friendships were with Eris Kallisti (gone now) and The Resi Corporation (mainly w/ Washu*).

Now working on some new allies. Yay!

*=Washu and my char. Daniel had a "on again & off again" relationship, as it pertains to Resi and I RPing them. Offically they've never broken up. Lol.

This honor was to my old friend Celeborne. A good man and a great RP'er. He even joined my old alliance, the Imperial Alliance, when it was a very powerful and active alliance.

Sadly he was forced to leave last year. It was a shame to lose him. I'll miss ya buddy.

Actually, I ended up FAFIATED from NS due to two things: one, my grades were doing the uncontrolled plunge (flunked ten credits that quarter), and two: I needed to get a job because the money I'd saved working at Boeing was drying up-it was either Internet connection, or Rent, and Nationstates or School.

Aust and I had a pretty decent in-character RP going based in part on that destruction, it was turning out some interesting bits I could've seriously used later... but I had to pick which to upkeep, and I chose grades-and-shelter over Fun-and-Games.

Being as I'm out of college and working again-though not in the job I was hoping to get :( I'm back-sort of. NK was a good "Learner's ride" for me, but my direction-of-development is different now, and I'm taking things a lot slower with Cadillac-Gage than I did with Nuevo Kowloon, and pretty much sticking with what I'm pretty good at- the People-Level in-character stuff.

I'm flattered anyone remembered that version... My grades were doing the nosedive, I was running out of scratch, and it was rent-or-internet for a while there. My "new" nation's pretty different from that one, though I kept a few of what I thought were the choicer background bits (Flogged hard to make them more workable), and I'm not quite as aggressive as I was back then. Something about RP'ing your own extinction and all...

I helped out Risban in warding off an attack and we've been allies ever since.

I can't remember who my first ally was. I know that I was a member of FKC for a little while, and I was also in the APTO, but those were pretty recent. The only real close allies I have right now are Andrehervia and Largent, but again, those are pretty recent. Squornshelous is just kind of a loner nation.

Technically speaking it was Arenumberg, though SKZ-Arenumberg relations were never very good. I would consider Xanthal more of a real ally, since I helped him fight Kecha way back when.

That would be the Grendels. Of course, the Grendels (along with most of the rest of Wysteria) don't really play on the forums. They got in the habit of using their own while NS was so unreliable.

But if you mean the first ally I ever made in the forums, that would be Iraqstan. And in spite of current difficulties, we're still allies. The Emperor is still very fond of Carlos Quil'raya.

oh yes. I just remembered who my first FT allies were before I joined the r-ESUS. Wetland and Friyusistan... I don't know if Wetland RPs any more, he's around every once in a while... and Friyuyistan didn't exist any more last time I checked *which was a month or 2 ago*

My first ally was probably Vthnaar, who's been gone for about 6 months now, and had been inactive for far longer. After him, it would be GMC Military Arms, who still is a close ally (heh).

Yay, I was a First Ally! w00t!

My first ally was Jimathon (Sadly since gone from the game). We each had our very first RP's with the other (Odd when you consider that he joined two months before I did), both emerged into Space Tech together, and my Alliance with him was the basis for the Galactic Alliance, the largest Alliance in Space NS History.

My first ally was the Holy Empire of Kyrie (a nation started by a friend, and fellow Catholic, whom I knew on some other boards.) Unfortunately, despite his theological orthodoxy, his RPing and stat calculation skills left much to be desired. (i.e. he godmodded on occassion :( )

As for the earliest allies who are still RPing today, that would have to go to Constantinopolis, with Chimaea. I allied w/Constantinopolis b/c he was one of the few Chrstian nations in NS who didn't seem to be a lunatic fascist, and I became allies with Chimaea due to the Amerigan Slaver War.

The "Emperor" is still very fond of Carlos Quil'raya.
Which says basically everything you need to know about the despot of Drona's character. :p

My first ally was Assington. Still is a strong alliance between us. The newest alliance I've agreed to is with Tanara. I see great potential in this. :)
