Yuunli

It is my pleasure to announce to you a new member of the NationStates world:The Republic of Yuunli is a "New York Times democracy" and UN member.
So far, information about the Republic of Yuunli is quite scarce...
(will be updated in the wiki (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Yuunli))
I'm not sure how to characterize the kind of political system Yuunli has. Executive and legislature are strictly divided. The legislature consists of political parties (with certain percentages) rather than elected MPs. The executive is not a president with a cabinet, but a cabinet with a kind of moderator. So it's somewhat comparable to the Swiss system.
Geographically, Yuunli consists of two parts (which have political autonomy): a landlocked part on a continent, and an island off the coast of that continent.
There's also the "Kingdom of Anti-Yuunli", a puppet state that does just about the opposite of Yuunli. But I'm not sure how far I'll go with that idea.
Anyway: The people of Yuunli are looking forward to peaceful interaction with other NationStates countries. :)
The Republic of Yuunli is currently in The East Pacific, but delegates from the Executive Council of the Republic are checking whether there isn't a better suited region...
