Veska X-VII Special
Type: Double Action Only or Single Action (in Tactical model)
Chambering: 5.7x28mm SS190
Length: 208 mm
Barrel length : 122.5 mm
Weight: ca. 620 g with empty magazine; ca. 760 g loaded
Magazine: 20 rounds
The X-VII pistol was designed by VWM (Veskan Weapons Manufacturing) company as a complimentary sidearm for the P90 submachine-gun. The P90 and X-VII share the same ammunition, the 5.7x28mm SS190 cartridge. The SS190 ammunition looks like scaled down 5.56mm NATO round and boosts the 2.02 gram (31 grains) pointed steel and aluminium core bullet to the muzzle velocity of 650 meters per second (ca. 2130 fps) from the pistol barrel. The key idea behind that ammunition and weapons is to provide good penetration against personnel, protected by modern body armour, while keeping weapons' weight, dimensions and recoil at the reasonable levels.
The X-VII is a delayed blowback operated, semi-automatic firearm. It featured polymer frame with under barrel accessory rail. The gun is available in two versions: X-VII standard, intended mostly for military users, and X-VII Tactical, intended mostly for Law Enforcement users who carry handguns as a primary weapons. The only difference between Standard and Tactical models is in the trigger type: the X-VII standard features Double Action Only trigger with long trigger pull and no external safeties; The X-VII Tactical featured Single Action trigger with short and light trigger pull and ambidextrous safety switch, located on the frame above the trigger. Both variants are striker fired, with internal firing pin safety. The sights are fixed, with optional night sights (with luminous dots inserts) available

V-II Pistol
Calibre: 9 mm .357 SIG .40 S&W
Length, overall: 168mm
Height: 132mm
Width: 30.5mm
Barrel length: 91.5mm
Weight w/o magazine: 775g
Capacity: 8 rds (9mm), 7 rds (.357 & .40)
This personal-sized handgun is made in Veska at the VWM. Technically it is similar to P228 compact gun, and differs only in size and magazine: while P228 has a dual-stack magazine for 12 rounds, V-II has a single-stack magazines for 7 0r 8 rounds (depending on calibre).
V-II is a blowback-operated, locked breech design, with modified Browning-style link less locking via slide ejection port. It has same DA or DAO trigger mechanism with striker pin safety, manual decocker (lever on the left side of the frame), slide stop. Slide is machined from solid steel. Frame is made from aluminium alloy.
V-II is reliable like all its bigger brothers from V-xx family, and very accurate for its small size. It may be not so light, but packs a lot of firepower in compact package and is very popular as a concealed carry and police backup or off-duty gun.

S-34 "Alpha"
Calibre: 9x19mm 7N21 and 7N31, compatible with all 9x19mm Luger/Parabellum ammo
Weight: ca 1.7 kg less magazine
Length (stock closed/open): 424 / 620 mm
Rate of fire: 500 rounds per minute
Magazine capacity: 32 rounds (box magazine) or 64 rounds (helical magazine)
Effective range: up to 200 meters
The S-34 “Alpha” submachine gun is the latest development of the Veska-based famous VWM design bureau. It is a completely new development, despite its designation, that could misleadingly suggest that it is a derivative of the S-34 folding clandestine machine gun. S-34 “Alpha” could be described as a more modern rival to the "Bizon" PP-19 submachine gun, made in Izhevsk. It is intended to provide compact and lightweight police weapon that could lay serious amount of fire, thanks to its large-capacity helical magazine (similar in basic concept and design to "Bizon" and Calico submachine guns magazines). The most interesting part about S-34 “Alpha” is, however, that it also could be fitted with adapter and then use typical box magazines, which are lighter, have slimmer profile and 1/2 capacity of standard helical magazine. It is not yet known if S-34 “Alpha” is in use with any major law enforcement or security force in Veska.
S-34 “Alpha” is a conventional blowback operated, selective fired machine gun. The gun housing is made entirely from plastic, including integral pistol handle and trigger guard. The top-folding buttstock is made from stamped steel. Safety / fire mode selector is located at the left side of the gun, above the trigger. The charging "button" is located just above the muzzle and should be pressed with one finger (not that easy to do so!) to retract the bolt. It is also unsafe, in my opinion, and mounting of silencer will interfere with charging, too. Weird! Another strange, if not weird, thing is the field stripping. To disassemble the S-34 “Alpha”, one must screw out the long disassembly screw, located above the magazine. This requires no tools, but can take about 20-30 seconds. When screw is gone, you then can took the barrel, bolt and return spring out of the gun by pulling it forward.
Feeding is from helical magazines of large capacity, or from typical box magazines, using detachable adapter, which also serves as a forearm. Helical magazines are made from plastic (mostly), while box magazines are made from sheet metal. The S-34 “Alpha” is strong enough to routinely fire powerful Veskan-made 9x19mm ammo with armour piercing bullets, 7N21 and 7N31, which is about 9mm S-+ or even S-++ class in the terms of barrel pressure. Any military or commercial 9x19mm ammo can be fired from S-34 “Alpha” safely as well.

Weight: ~ 1.5 kg
Length (stock closed/open): 300 / 507 mm
Barrel length: 182 mm
Rate of fire: ~ 600 rounds per minute

The PP-2000 is the latest development of the famous Veska Weapons Manufacturers (VWM) from Omicron, Veska. It has been first displayed on public in 2204, although the patent for its layout has been filed in 2201 and issued in 2203. So far it is issued to only troops but offered for all interested domestic and foreign Law Enforcement and Military users.
The main "niche" for PP-2000 is a personal defence weapon for non-infantry military personnel, or as close quarter combat weapon for special forces and special law enforcement teams. As such, it is a compact weapon with as few parts as possible for enhanced reliability, simplified maintenance and low cost. Also, it is designed to fire any standard 9x19mm "ball" (FMJ) ammunition, as well as S-+ class 7N31 armour piercing ammunition of Russian origin. When loaded with 7N31 ammo, PP-2000 offers enhanced penetration against body armour, while maintaining stopping power against "soft targets", which is believed to be superior to foreign small-calibre rivals, like 5.7mm FN P90 or 4.6mm H&K MP-7.
The PP-2000 is a conventional blowback operated submachine gun, and it is believed to be fired from closed bolt for enhanced accuracy. The bolt is telescoped around the rear part of the barrel; front part of the bolt is exposed above the barrel and is used to cock (charge) weapon by pressing back its chequered front face. The receiver / housing is made from polymer as a single unit with pistol grip and trigger guard. Trigger guard is enlarged and its front part is shaped to provide front hand grip. the magazine housing is located inside the pistol grip; Housing for spare magazine is located at the rear end of the receiver, and, when inserted, spare magazine is used as a crude shoulder support (buttstock). Safety / fire mode selector is conveniently located at the left side of the receiver, above the pistol grip.
