Welcome to the Cyrus Society Recruitment Thread!
First and Foremost, I wish to stress that all Information contained herein; is STRICTLY OOC!!!
With that said, allow me to explain what "A unique RP Oppurtunity" means.
My Idea for Cyrus Society is not an UBER_OMG_ALLIANCE!!! Rather while on the public face of it, it seems to be large conglomerate of multi-national corporations, with several top ranking members of Various Nations Governments as members, it would almost be like a secret society that wants centralization of wealth and power, conspiracy-type stuff, you follow? Good.
Now your average citizen wont know much about The Cyrus Society; theyll think of it as thier sponsor for NS Formula One Racing, or The Parent Company of their toasters manufacturer, or the folks who help various different churches in low-income communites. I.E. Noone really knows what it is on the surface. They seem to be as honorable, as they are secretive, and yet may very well be involved in terrorist fundings, yet help alleviate third-world countries from starvation.
Watchdog groups know more of them, and track thier every movement, yet Cyrus does the same too them, and usually puts on a face for them to tell paranoid types on thier various websites.
Now while all of this power is assumed to exist internationally, heres where "unique" steps in. Im not saying that I secretly control your Government, Im saying that even Tersanctus is secrettly controlled by them. In this story at least. What your job is, is to RP from the perspective of a Corporation CEO, or a Senator, or something, that is a member, and how it affects your nation.
The goal of this story, will to see what people subconciously think really happens in Conspiracies. And to creatively decide what happens. Will Cyrus succeed and eventually control a united world, with a handpicked elite running the show behind the scenes?
Or will some "Hero" rise up against what he beleives to be "evil" and bring this hidden giant to a crashing halt, thus disruprting international trade routes and alliances for decades to come?
Will some mastermind rise to power,and effectively take control of the Society to fullfill his own nefarious purposes?
Thats what your going to help me write, and decide! The fun part is you dont have too write about massive troop movements, or diploamtic exchanges, you get to write about what really causes them. Your writing about what goes on in the players mind, before he moves the chess peice.
