"Because you know me too well," Alexei said in response. "See you here, then, good bye." With that, he hung up, and put his phone away. He snorted at Katherine's comment.

"Practice? Who needs practice? It's all divinely inspired anyways, so you shouldn't need practice," he retorted, touching his forehead on hers and smiling, kissing her.

Kathy kisses him back. "If you think we don't need practice then I guess it'll be ok to for go it." she replied. "I just want things to go perfectly.

She watched as Server and nods her head in his direction. "Hello President Server." she stated.

"I'll attend the openning too, I guess."

The Prince glared jokingly at the Queen. "That was mean." John then looked at his watch.

"Hmm, Paisley and Emperor Napoleon said they'd be coming today."

Emperor Napoleon accompanied by Dr. Paisley walked into the room in quite a huff. "My appologies for being late. I nearly thought I would be unable to come. There are some problems in the Kingdom and I think for now they are settling down. So...here I am."

Paisley shook the Czar's hand. He was obviously quite tired from the journey. "Congratulations, old fellow." he said weakly. "Are we to be starting yet?"

The Prince glared jokingly at the Queen. "That was mean." John then looked at his watch.

"Hmm, Paisley and Emperor Napoleon said they'd be coming today."

The Queen guessed "And Prince John, I do keep my promise about the alcohol. We don't want our guests to go wanting for things.". She stopped.

"Prince John, Rainley wanted you to perform the first official service for his new Cathedral. For him, it's like the Pope doing the same for a new Catholic Cathedral. He wants it to be special, and there's no particular topic either." she continued.

She turned to the Shogun "Thank you. The Reverend wants to meet some new friends outside Jeruselem."

The Regent looked around realising the powerful leaders from Greater Prussia were in the same place at the same time for the same occasion.

Emperor Napoleon accompanied by Dr. Paisley walked into the room in quite a huff. "My appologies for being late. I nearly thought I would be unable to come. There are some problems in the Kingdom and I think for now they are settling down. So...here I am."

The Czar, sitting with Katherine still on his knee, smiled and shook Paisley's hand. "Good morning, Ian! And you, Emperor," he said, nodding. "I'd stand up to greet you, but currently I'm hampered," he said, hugging Katherine, who was on his lap.

"I heard about the...problems...in Reichskamphen. You should have nothing to worry about, Dietrich will clean house effectively. Now, lucky you, there's still a few items of food left, if you want some." Prince John walked up to Doctor Paisley.

"Hello, Doctor. Just a heads-up, you'll probably be doing the wedding ceremony. I don't believe my brother thinks I can be serious enough for it," he remarked, grinning. Alexei motioned Ian and Napoleon to take a seat, and Prince John came up in front of them.

"Now, Paisley, Alexei, Antonette, Mariah -- there will be no fighting here, okay?" He chuckled to himself, and when the Queen told him he'd be doing the opening ceremony, his eyes lit up.

"While I'm not all that fond of being compared to the pope, I'm honored that he's letting me!" Alexei read the Queen's thought on her face.

"Yes, it would be a shame if suddenly some nation dropped a large bomb on the Kremlin. I believe Greater Prussia would be without leadership!"

The Queen telepathically told her sword (Excalibur) to calm down as it was being agitated by the presence of the Sword of Heaven (Dragon Sword) and Lightbringer (Antonette's sword). It always did this as it had a mind of it's own.

She pulled out the special guilded invitations for Rainley's opening ceremony for his Cathedral.

"Paisley and Napolean, your beloved Reverend Rainley wants you to be present for opening that new Cathedral he's been dreaming of. In a month, the biggest Protestant Cathedral in the Middle East will be in Jerusalem city to add the biggest Catholic Cathedral and our other Holy sites." she greeted the new guests.

"Napoleon!" exclaimed Antonette as he jumped up,
"How are you?" He also turned to Paisley, "How are you reverand?"


"I don't lke the idea of a Protestant cathedral challenging the beauty of a Catholic one. I will attend anyway."

Ten minutes later, Server walked in the room after being escorted by some guards.

John Server walks in wearing his jedi robes of office with his lighstaber clipped to his belt.

"It is an honor to see you again Your Majesty." he said as he bowed to both Alexei and Kathy. "I hope that you both have many years of happiness together."

He then looked around the room. "And its an honor to meet you all."

She winked at Antonette "The Cathedral of Jerusalem is just 15 minutes in driving time. You can have the place yourself if you want."

Alexei picked up Katherine, stood up, and sat her in the chair he was sitting in, getting a giggle in return from her. "Hey, John," he said, greeting Server. Alexei motioned to the lightsaber.

"Nice. Mind if I try? My grandfather could use one pretty effectively, as could some of his subordinates."

"O shit" said John (Antonette), drawing his sword jokingly, "Better put my shield up" he said, doing it, then smiling.

A vase in the room started floating upwards, and flew across the room at Antonette, but moved out of the way so it wouldn't break, and sat back on its pedestal. Alexei stared at Antonette, Alexei's eyes phosphoresent red and his mouth forming a smirk.

"You'll need more than a sword and shield, my friend."

"I have the Monarchal Sword" he grinned. He made his shield disappear, and averted his eyes to Prince John. He looked back at Alexei, and it was clear that he wanted to "get" Prince John.
"I think we can both use a little payback, don't you think,Alexei?" he said Smirking

The Prince caught the looks and held his hands up in front of him. "Hey, hey, hey, hey hey, woah now, there's no need for this!" He said, backing up towards the door. Alexei winked at Antonette.

"I'm sorry Alexei but I'm afraid that I can't let you. YOu may be good but you don't have the patients for this type of saber." Server said. "How are things shaping up for the wedding?"

Alexei turned back to Server, staring in to him, studying him. He hoped John didn't take it to be an intimidation, but he did so all the same. So, you don't trust me? he thought to himself. He shrugged.

"Maybe I'll get one of the Praetorian Guard to train me." Out of the twenty Praetorian, four were full-fleged Jedi Knights. Problem was, most think they are Sith, as they are too aggressive, but their job is to protect the Czar at all costs, consequences be damned.

"Well," Alexei said, brushing off the previous conversation. "THe wedding will go as planned -- if you can call it that" he added with a grin. "By tomorrow night, I will have a wife, and the next day we're off to a private resort Island in Formal Dances."

The Queen watched on as the leaders with swords and lightsabers were playing around. The Regent nudged his wife "Hey Princess Leia". She giggled as she was a better swordsman than he was and hell-flame shooting out of your sword tends to discourage anyone wanting to challenge you. She nudged him back "Just because I won that Jabba the Hut scene thingy Princess Leia wore, at an auction".

"In there you'll find Royal Class tickets for my country's most elegant, exquiste, and yada yada yada, cruise. You can use them any time you want. The cruise usually stops at Souther Island before heading off to whever the hell you say, (Royal Class members can do that, according to rank) so you can use that time to review the RPN stationed there, yada yada. So, basically, enjoy!"

Alexei's eyebrows arched up. "Thank you, Shogun, I appriciate this a lot." OOC: What the HECK is the Shogun's first name?

At that point, an officer from the Watch came in. "Your Majesty, this came in from Moscow." He picked up the breifing and read it twice. One could tell he was slightly annoyed.

"I will deal with this later. Thank you."

"Yessir." The Senior Watch Officer saluted sharply and left the room, and Alexei turned back.

"So, anyone up for a trip to Kremlin Gardens? There's something I bet you don't know about there that I'd like to show you."

"Sounds like a fine idea, if you ask me."

"My present will come later. And sure, I would lvoe to go to the garden." he said, remembering what Prince John had said.

The Queen said "Count us in. There's nothing like spending a quiet day in a peaceful garden away from the rest of the world for a short while." and her husband said "Offer accepted, God intended us to enjoy his creations and not be locked up in our own self-made prisons.".

The Regent liked the outdoors even the desert while although his wife preferred the French countryside and hated the desert.

"I'll go as well. I've always wanted to see the Gardens."

Alexei nodded. "Of course." He took them out of the palace (after going through much crap) and onto ground level. The sidewalks along the wall of the Kremlin Complex were lined with trees to A) Keep people in the shade and B) eat up the CO2 that was bound to seep in from the rest of the city. They walked north to the head of the cross (the Kremlin complex was in the shape of a cross) to the Kremlin Gardens.

At the front was a wooden picket fence, maybe three feet in height, and there was, in the center, a large archway with two wooden gates, guarded by Honor Guards. When they approached, the gates automatically opened and they entered.

The gardens were about one kilometer by two kilometers. In the center was a fountain seven stories high. The path leading up to it was concrete, and lined with benches here and there, as was the circular path surrounding the fountain. The paths everywhere else were made of fine gravel.

There were the obvious trees -- all were fruit trees, except those in the corners, which were pine -- as well as flower arrangements that on the market would be worth millions of dollars. A group of nearly every extinct flower that ever flourished in Derscon was present in the garden. Gardeners were working on the back areas, laying fresh tanbark.

Some arrangements were simply blocks, but some made designs. There was a hill in the back -- a large one -- that was cut in half by the wall of the KK, and that flower arrangement was made for the current ruling family, which was below an arrangement of the Dersconi flag. Beside the two were Napoelon IV's crests. Lining the path leading up to the hill were arrangements making the crests of all the former ruling families, along with the crests of the Old Republic. The Romanov seal, though, was replaced with regular flowers, after some gardener had a sense of humor and planted dead flowers for the Romanov dynasty's arrangement.

When they approached the fountain, they could see that it was guarded by exactly twelve Honor Guards. What they didn't see was the laser walls that surrounded it. If you touched it, you'd get a nice burning sensation. If you decided to put your hand through it, it would disintegrate.

"You like the fountain?" Alexei asked his group. "It was actually here when Ivan the Great, founder of Derscon, first arrived here, at what was then called Andropovsgrad. THe fountain seemed like it was there since Creation, and it is still in perfect conidition, and we don't do a thing to it. It runs from an underground spring, and circulates the water."

".....Damn, that's big. But, I don't think we're hear to stare at a miracle, are we?" Kenshin said, skpeticism in his voice.

Alexei smiled and sat down on a bench. "Correct, Kenshin. The main purpose of us coming out here was to get the hell out of the palace," he said grinning, but then his mouth turned into a very sly smile.

"And it's funny you said it was a miracle. You know what this fountain is? Ponce de Leon looked for it, but in the wrong place." He picked up a handful of rocks and chucked it at the fountain, and when they hit the invisible laser barrier, the energy of the impact was spread visually across a rectangular form, and one could see then why there were twelve Guards -- the energy barrier was in the shape of a dodecagonular prisim, with an Honor Guard at each of the corners. The rocks, though, disintegrated.

"And there's a reason this fountain is so well protected."

At this, Heero piped up, "If my Ancient American is correct...." he was cut off by his father,
"Holy shit, its the Fountain of Youth. Geez Christopher and great Goddess!!"

Alexei nodded. "Indeed. If one will not die of age, then the body becomes a prison for the soul, and life becomes death and hell. But it is a nice addition to the gardens, though," he said, smirking. "How do you think these flowers lived so long?"

Alexei laughed. "No, no, it doesn't." He then gave the Shogun a look saying don't bring that subject up EVER!

"I just wanted to get out of the palace and walk around a bit. It's nice out here, after all."

"Thats pretty cool" remarked Antonette, "I also remember another Bibilical artifact, fromt he coronation"he said, giving Alexei a look saying I will keep my mouth shut this time.

He said solemnly., "Perhaps Prince John will get to see these when he comes to CR for that ceremony."

The Queen added to Alexei's harassment of John "Why would Cherry Ridge want keep the body of my long dead ancestor?" as she was descendant of Charlemagne who was supposedly descended from Mary Magdelene, the mother of Saint Sarah - mother of the French Royal line (according to the Da Vinci Code anyway).

Server is staring at his surroundings and reaches out with the force to feel it flow through him.

"Alexei, this place is a jedi's dream. So full of life. I commend you on it."

Alexei nodded towards Server. "Thank you. I admit, the special water helps," he said, motioning to the Fountain of Youth. He then pointed to the five Praetorian Guardsmen in the back.

"See them? They are also the Force-users I was talking about. Neither Jedi nor Sith." Alexei was pointing to the Guardsmen around the seal of the Andropov House. The titanium diamond shields were on the ground, and they were doing....something....that Alexei couldn't recognize.

"The Davinci Code is a myth" said John rudely. "It is the cup Jesus drank out of at the last supper, and his blood was caught in. Of course, none of you know that I have these artifacts." he said smugly "Now don't give me that bullshit" he said, this time jokingly.

"Hey, watch the language," Alexei retorted. "There are ladies present."

"What ladies?" he said, obviously in a joking mood, "Im just kidding, Katherine and Mariah."

He then saw confusion in Alexeis eyes, and saw what he was looking at.
"Alexei...whats wrong?"

"Thank you John, it's a change being called a daughter of Christ's Whore. Although it would be nice to have a Jesus in your genes." she replied to Antonette.

"Something amiss in paradise?" Mariah asked Alexei, her left hand slipped into her sword and she moved closer to Katherine Rice. Her natural instinct was to protect the ones with least chance of survival in case something was badly amiss. Her father's sympathy for the defenseless was strong in her.

"I sense it too." Server stated as his hand is placed on his lightsaber. "As for the guards, I would love to see what they are capable of. It should be an interesting experience."

"Czar....." Kenshin said, thumbing his katana past the friction point and giving Czar Andropov an accusing stare.

Katherine moves alittle more behind Alexei. "what is going on sweetheart?"

The four Praetorian Guards who could use the force better than most Jedi or Sith -- as they had only one rule to abide by, protect the Czar -- were focusing their energies in the gardens, which enhanced their power, and frankly, it relaxed them. Suddenly, all four of their eyes popped open at the exact same time, and Alexei caught it. Alexei and the Praetorian evidentally were communicating telepathically. He turned to the Shogun.

"Take everyone back to the Kremlin. And no resisting," he said to the group. "Follow the Shogun back to the Kremlin. Kenshin, take them to the Star Office. The Secretary and all the guards will know you're coming." He then turned to John Server, Mariah, and Antonette.

"You three, stay with me." At that point, the entire force of the Praetorian Guard came out into the gardens. Ten of them surrounded Katherine and the group to protect them through their journey back to the Palace, and the six others formed a circle around Alexei. The four "Force Guards" made their way back to Alexei, their armor and shields on, and lightsabres in hand.

"We've picked up hostile energy approaching the Kremlin Walls," was all the one said. Alexei nodded and raises his hand -- palm parallel to the ground -- in front of him. Light formed at his palm, and shot downwards, and the Dragon Sword materialized. Technically, it weighed over one thousand pounds, if one has Andropov blood in him, it weighs no less than an Italian rapier.

"Oh, wanna see the Dragon Sword's strength?" He nodded to a Praetorian, who then pulled out his lightsabre. Alexei held the sword out broadside, and the Praetorian sliced at the Dragon Sword, where it stopped and did nothing.

Until three seconds later, fire shot up the lightsabre blade and was about to consume the Praetorian until he pulled away.

"Now, we sit here and wait."

They didn't have to wait long. A large group of what looked like Ninjas -- they weren't, though, as ninjas don't use Muramasas -- stormed in through the gates. Alexei just stared. "THat's a major security lapse."

Kathy went back to the Star Office with everyone else. President Wilson had no idea what was going on either and they all entered the office.

Kathy moved towards the desk and sat on it. "Anyone know what is going on?" she asked as she looked around the room. "I get a sense that something bad is happening."

"Well this has just gotten alot more interesting." Server stated as he withdrew his lightsaber but hasn't ignited it yet. "What now your majesty?"

Antonette drew his sword. it glowed white, and then he noticed the Dragin sword, and mariahs sword.
"O shit" he said

The ninja-like band formed up on the group, drawing their katanas and swarming in.

The first few of them were obliterated by the Praetorian Guard. One ninja-like person sliced at the Guardsman, but it did nothing to the titanium/diamond shield. The said targeted Guardsmen then impaled the ninja's face with the spikes on his helmet.

Four of them ganged up on Antonette, three on Mariah, six on Server, and ten on Alexei.

There were five others, but they had another objective other than assassinating the heads of state, which was, in fact, a secondary objective.

Antonette's sword, now glowing as whtie as heaven's bliss, was about to be used. Antonette sliced one man across his chest, then across his neck. he stuck it through another ninja's neck, and impaled one's stomach. The 4th man sharged at him, but Antonette tripped him, and sent him tumbling tot he ground. He jumped on his back, picked him up, spun him around and shouted,
"SEE MY FACE! I wills trike you down with my own hand!" He punched him in the face, picked him up, and put htw swrod throguh the mans heart.

He then went to help the others....

The Queen's sword jumped from the scabbard to her hand while she held a small dagger in the other hand. Excalibur glowed red and red hellish engulfed the sword. Her dagger shot out of her hand like a bullet into the throat of one Ninja, and blood poured out of his neck like a fountain. He collapsed and died.

She fended of blows from the two reminding Ninjas with her sword one handed for a short while, while some help from the nearby guards. Red flame shot out of the sword engulfing one Ninja who ran about on fire until he collapsed into pile of ash. The last one proved very stubborn as he was agile as a cat like herself.

Finally she issued a Crusader cry which sudden bumped up her energy levels smashing the Ninja's sword and he fell back in shock. She didn't stop like an ArchAngel on the warpath plunged her sword into his stomach and his body dissipated into flame.

Not finished, she shot a massive bolt of lightning out her Babylonian ring (like one in Return of the Jedi when the Emperor's Sith powers are used) after uttering some very Babylonian chants at one of Alexei's assailants who barely escaped being fried but was forced to get into range of Alexei's protective guard.

She looked at Antonette "I maybe a Babylonian princess bimbo, but many have learned the High Priestesses of the Davidian Order are not a defenseless maidens." and she went to assist Server.

He looked at her dress which was really made of very very fine chain mail, but of space age metals. You could see a little of her breast as the unique material had saved her as a few of the ninja hand landed light blows on her. She didn't like people ruining her dresses, but didn't care for others seeing her breasts.

The Regent was sitting in the Star Office and sat next to Katherine Rice. "You know, it's strange. I'm the 2nd most powerful person in Jeruselem and I'm sitting here like lame duck with you. I can actually use weapons really well, but I never carry weapons. At least I don't become a target for assassins." he said to Katherine and asked a guard "Can I have weapon in case some unpleasant people crash through that door?".

John Server Ignited his purple lightsaber (Gotta love Mace Windu! LOL) and began to go into a defensive stance when 6 of them converged on him.

He used the force and pushed a few of them aside and used the force to channel the energy into him to help him fight his enemies. Though they attacked in a group, Server was quick with the force and began to fight them all off.

"SAINT MICHAEL DEFEND US IN BATTLE!" Antoentte shouted, as a light from his sword met with one from the heavens. The light swept through two more ninjas, and disintegrated them.

OOC: Oh, right, people in the Star Office can see what is going on through the large windows.

Another twenty assassins came through the gate. The Praetorian were too scattered to do anything effectively. John Server was in the back warding off others, and it was Alexei, Mariah, and Antonette. Alexei's mouth turned into a smirk as he placed his sword broadside out in front of him.

"Mariah, Antonette, cross your blades over mine." When they did so, a flash of light shot out of the meeting place.

A huge vortex of massive winds, pure white light, and the complete absence of light swirled around Alexei and the three swords. Four trees were ripped out of the ground and shredded from the force of the vortex.

The Vortex climbed to the sky, and suddenly all light was extinguished for a brief moment. Antonette's and Mariah's swords were sucked into the Vortex. A large roar was heard, and two large glowing red orbs were seen floating in the sky.

A bright flash of light shot out of nowhere, and light returned to the area, but a massive thunderstorm was ensuing. In the center of the place stood a twenty-foot tall halfman halfdragon creature that used to be Alexei. His left hand seemed to form a massive blade, decorated with Dragons, suns, and moons.

It was (a very weak from of) Damonagaashi, the Dragon King.

The sword emmitted visible energy as it was so strong. The Dragon Sword and two of the Seven Holy Swords -- The Sword of Light and of Darkness -- merged together to form Damonagaashi's left hand.

THe sword started glowing so bright that if you looked at it, you'd go blind. It shot out a beam of light in the shape of a dragon. THis dragon consumed all twenty of the would-be assassins, the heat from the light disintegrating them instantly. The rest of the Praetorian killed the surviving assassins.

The massive beast in the center of the Kremlin Complex held up his sword to the heavens, and a lightning bolt struck it, and all light -- once again -- evaporated. Ten minutes later, the sun came out, a slight breeze was blowing, and Alexei layed unconcious on the ground, the Dragon Sword, Antonette's and Mariah's sword laying beside him.

Because of the merger, the two swords other than the Dragon Sword were much more powerful than before. Now, they could shoot their designated element/light force. The Sword of Darkness could shoot a beam of total and complete absence of light, freezing the target to absolute zero, and the Sword of Light could shoot an incinerating beam of pure white light, able to disintegrate its target.

holy SHit, though Antonette. Thats cool. He picked up his sword, and shot off a beam of light. He walked over to Alexei, and said,
"Alexei, you ok?"

"Wwwwoooowwww...." Kenshin stood with obvious awe at what had happened. His reverse-blade sword was still in his hand, but it was hanging kind of limp off to the side. He turned to his son, "Heero, return to your shuttle. If anything more intense happens, I want you to go."
"But why, I have my own sword, I can help..."
"No, GO! You're skills at a sword are not as good at mine, but others you possess are better. Now go."
"Fine, fine." Heero said, walking out the door, and then running, trying to find where they had put his shuttle.

Server kept his cool and used the force to propel himself away from the bright light and continued to attack his foes.

"If you surrender now, you won't die" he said with convictions.

He used his blade to parray the next attack and then used his free hand to throw 2 of his attackers into the trees and entangles them in the branches.

"That should hold ya temporarily." he said with a smile.

Up in the star office, his wife and kids watched. The kids were itching to come down to fight and show their father that they are ready to be full Jedi Knights but they do understand orders.

Katherine was staring out the window with horror on her face. She watches in disbelief as the white light dissipated and Alexie being on the ground. She tries not to show her fear because she does know what combat entails but this goes beyond her understanding.

She walks away from the window and sits down on the couch very concerned for her fiance.

Mariah called her sword back into her hand. It felt different and more beligerent as well. She struck down one of Servers assilants with another bolt of lightning for fun and walked over to Alexei. She placed her hand on his body and started uttering some chant, then stopped.

"He's alive. Probably just recovering from the energy overload." she said. Her hand was charged with electricity so she shot down another assassin to get rid of it.

Server gives a nod at Mariah.

"Thanks ma'am" he said as he decapitates an assailant. "I needed that."

"May the force be with you" she smiled and looked around for any more Ninjas to practice her Sith-like powers on, although she wasn't one. She was close to the Sword of Heaven and it was feeding her natural powers as electricity arced from her ring.

She said to Antonette "Well, this has certainly been an eventful day. I hope the wedding is nothing like this."

The Regent comforted Katherine Rice "I'm sure everything will be alright in the end. God will not let Alexei die now."

Antonette shot a few beams of light in the air. They stayed for 2 seconds, so Katherine could see them from the window. They faintly read,
He's alive.

Katherine was back at the window very very worried when she saw the light that read "He's Alive"

"Praise the Lord" she said as tears started to form up in her eyes. She dapped at them with her hands because she wasn't close to her purse. She continued to stare down at the courtyard. "I don't know what I would do if anything happened to him."

"Well you don't have to worry about that Kathy." President Wilson said. "He's alright as you just saw. Everything will work out in the end."

"Thanks." was all she can say as she fiddles with engagement ring. Knowing that he was alright she moved and sat back down on the couch.

"If he's anything like his father, it'll take a helluva lot more than just that to do him in." Kenshin said, chuckling but still grim.

"I want to know who it is that is trying to destroy my life!" She stated. "I wanted this to be special and this hurts that big time. Someone just doesn't want me to be happy." She starts to cry.

"Who ever it is cannot hurt you now. Alexi is too strong a fighter and person, as are those he is fighting with. Anyone trying to get to you personally still has to go through me, remember?" Kenshin said in a comforting tone. "I've never lost a fight in my life, and I've been in several pretty big ones, only to hold my own and be victorious, as have Alexi, and his father, and his father's father. You have nothing to worry about."

"I feel safer if I had my own gun by my side. I've been in a few fights myself but I was hoping that Alexei and I could've gotten married peacefully. That is ruined and now he is hurt." Kathy stated trying to dry the tears from her eyes. "I don't know what I'll do though if he doesn't make it through this."

"He WILL make it through okay, just you wait and see."

"That's easy for you to say." She replied vehemitly. After a few seconds she bowed her head. "Sorry. I'm just uptight and nervous."

She started to pace the office waiting for the all clear to be given and word on what is going on down there.

Prince John Rekjyavich was also looking over the fight.

"I've never lost a fight in my life," Kenshin was saying. "And I've been in several pretty big ones, only to hold my own and be victorious, as have Alexei, and his father, and his father's father. You have nothing to worry about." John nodded.

"Indeed. Actually, if I recall, you and Rekjyavich Ivan Andropov III fought A..." he stopped himself short though, and shook his head. "No, that is for another time." John remembered being there, holding his and Alexei's dying father in his arms, watching him pass as the sky cleared after the horrid storm that Death and the Dragon King brought upon the world.

But no, that was for another time.

On the ground, Alexei was slowly opening his eyes, to the sight of ten of his Praetorian Guardsmen. He slowly got up and picked up the Dragon Sword, making it disappear, sending it back to its holding spot, floating out of reach in the very centre of the sphirical Grande Hall.

He walked up to one of the dead assassins and pulled off the cloak, exposing -- to his shock -- a uniform of the Waffen-SS Fourth Shock Troopers of the Romanovsgrad SS Division. He puled out his cell phone, which was miraculously not damaged in the fight, and called the Reichsfuerher Reinhard Heydrich, CINC-SS, HQed at Chaumont-sur-Loire, Loire Valley.

"Reinhard? This is Czar Andropov."

"Your Majesty? Are you alright? I got word of the attack through RAMC Security."

"Yeah, I'm fine. Run a scan on the Romanovsgrad Fourth Shock Troopers."

"Why?"

"They are the ones that attacked me."

"Jesus!" Reinhard was heard exclaiming on the other side of the cellular connection. "I'll do it." A humming was heard in the background as he started up his computer, and a *bing!* was then heard.

"Got it. Commanded by....oh my. Their chief officer was arrested and executed for being an athiest and a homosexual. As you know, The mayor of Romanovsgrad conducted nighttime raids with the First Shockers on known safehouses for the degenerates." the Reichsfuerher shared the same feelings many of the high command of the SS did towards homosexuality. "Here it is -- there were suspicions of Fourth Shock Troopers being a front group for terrorists supporting the degenerate's cause. Used to smuggle military-grade weapons." In Derscon, an M16 with a grenade launcher was a civilian-grade weapon. An XM8, any of the Stages of the OIC-AWP -- including the OICW, XM25, and the final stage, XM29 -- rocket launchers -- the works.

"Hmm," Alexei said. "Use the SD for this one. Crack down on groups like this. Take them out -- quietly, but surely." What that order meant was nighttime raids without explosives, making them disappear, and having them shot in the head and incinerated.

"Yes, sir. I'm glad you're okay. Congrats on your wedding, I apologize I will not be able to make it, now, with my new assignment." Alexei nodded, but Reinhard could not see it over the phone.

"No problem, and thank you. Good day." Alexei hung up and clipped the cell phone back to his belt. Some of the regular PRaesillei Dei soldiers already cleaned up most of the mess. Alexei was still a bit woozy and unstable, but overall, he recovered fully, without any sustained injuries.

"Well," he said to the group. "That explains how they got through security. They must've wore their SS uniforms in, and changed before swarming the walls." He shrugged as they all headed back inside the Kremlin Palace. "Ah well, it sure was exciting." The party made it back up to the Star Office, surrounded at all times by the Praetorian Guard. One of the Force-user Praetorians opened the door, and they all walked inside.

"Everyone safe?" Alexei asked the people secure in the Star Office. When he was satisfied, he stared at Shogun Kenshin, who was stading near a wall, with an evil look in his eyes and a smirk.

"Bring back old memories, Kenshin?" Alexei asked/taunted as Alexei pushed Kenshin -- jokingly -- against the wall.

Fortunately, Kenshin didn't go through this one. The Prince glanced accusingly and angerly at Alexei.

"Don't...start...Alexei," he commanded. "You didn't have to hold your dying father! NO!" The Prince said, clearly hysterical. "You KILLED HIM! AND NOW YOU JOKE ABOUT THE WHOLE GODDAMNED THING! YOU SICK DEMON!" With that, Prince John threw his sash that proclaimed him to be "Prince" at Alexei, and stormed out of the room, tears in his eyes. Alexei just stared for a few seconds, surprised, and darted out after him.

The Regent looked his his wife with her frizzled hair (because she was frizzling other people) and a ruined dress. "Are you alright?" he asked concerned like every other time someone wanted to kill her. She didn't seem to bothered as usual "I'm fine, but apart from being attacked by Ninajs, zapping people and summoning Dragons" as she pulled a finger of Ninja from her dress. She used her sword's power totally dissipate it.

He helped her sit down as using her frenzy of Sith-ing had drained her a little. "Why it you always get into trouble and not me?" he asked. She was tired and yawned "Because of this damned sword. It gave King Arthur trouble too. He died with it and so I will I suppose in the usual horrible way." and tiredly curled up his arms, falling asleep.

He sighed. Their son's name was Arthur and his early behaviour was just like his mothers - she did have the stronger genes. Sometimes he wished the sword had a different owner, someone like Janus the occult expert who was someone who liked getting to trouble with forces of Evil. His mobile rang and it was Janus, naturally who had picked up on the news of the event. It was going to be a rather long phone call. Janus said first up "I knew something was wrong when my Satanic headstick started glowing. So tell me everything"

John Server walks with the group back to the Star Office and embraced his wife and kids.

"Don't worry about me. It'll take more than those bozos to hurt me. Besides, Kerry injured me more than those weaklings."

"I know what Kerry did to you. I also know what he did to me. You did fought well."

"Kids! This tells me that maybe you should be placed through the trials earlier than anticipated. Before you leap for joy, they are not easy. They will be the toughest test of courage that I can find."

He then turned to Alexei. "You have alot to answer for Your Majesty." He said in a tone that friends can get away with. "This was supposed to be a peaceful gathering and then this happens. How the hell did they get passed not only your security, but those of every other Greater Prussian government here. Not to mention, who are they?"

When John stated what he stated, President Server turned on him next. He lifted a hand and John goes flying into the air. "You shall apologize right now your Highness." He said bemused. "You have no idea what the hell was going on at that time. I unfortunately do. NOW SHUT UP!"

OOC: Derscon, you didn't embrace your fiance. That isn't very gentlemanly! :p

Kathy was still in tears when Alexei walked through the door. She immediately ran over to him and embraced him.

"Alexei are you alright?" She asked him totally frightened. "I love you Alexei." and then kissed him.

Antonette picked up the "Prince" sash, and looked at President Server.
"Alexei should have known better. I wasn't there, but being King of Burgundy, I do know the story." He shook his head.

Kathy looked around.

"What are you all babbling about?" she asked. "Sounds like something bad happened."

In the Prince's office, John Rekjyavich was sitting alone when Alexei came in. John looked up to see his younger brother, but said and did nothing. Alexei came over to him and sat down, and also said nothing. They just stared at each other for awhile, but then John put his head down.

"I...I'm sorry, Alexei," he started, his voice still fairly shaky. Alexei nodded.

"It's okay. I suppose it is partially my fault. You're right, I shouldn't be joking about those things." The Prince stood up and went around his desk, and embraced Alexei, tears coming out of his eyes again.

"I know you didn't kill him," John was stammering out. "But..." Alexei just nodded.

"I know, it's okay." Now that the brother's were over their little dispute, they headed back to the Star Office, PRince John recovered from his crying debut.

When they walked through the door, John went to the bar, and Alexei walked over and hugged Katherine tightly, and lifted her off the ground, and kissed her -- a lot.

"Thank God you're safe," Alexei said to her, hugging her tightly.

Antonette picked up the "Prince" sash, and looked at President Server.
"Alexei should have known better. I wasn't there, but being King of Burgundy, I do know the story." He shook his head.

"You had me worried sick my love. I was afraid that I was going to lose you. I don't know what I would've done if I did lose you. You are my world sweetie." Kathy said as she clung close to him. "I don't ever want to lose you."

While the "joking" and arguing was going on, Kenshin had his sword out and just stared at it a little, watching the light play off it. He muttered to himself a little, "Old memories...yeah...But it didn't have to end that way...I guess it was for the best though..." He snapped back to reality. "Yes, you did miss something important, and rather disturbing. But that's for Czar Andropov to decide when to tell you."

ooc- He knows the basic outline of what happened though, about the Dragon King, and how he killed Alexeis dad, but not who was the Dragon King, ro any details. Thats what you told me on AIM in the past

A summary ...

Alexei showed his guests a nice fountain, but due to security breach lots of Ninjas turned up to assassinate them. The ones without big swords/light sabers were rushed to Star Office (except the Shogun and son). Mariah, Alexei, President Server, Antonette and the guard fought them off with some help from the Dragon sword, two Holy swords, Jedi skills, fire, lightning and a Dragon. They went back to the Star Office and now old wounds/memories are opening again.

The Regent finished explaining things to Inquisitor Janus on his mobile. Janus said "I thought this was supposed to be a wedding Richard, not an Inquisitional raid on the Masons." and the Regent said "I know". Janus said "Well, say hello to my girlfriend, I mean your wife." and disconnected. The Regent had to smile as Janus was rather fond the Queen for all his Inquisitional training. Janus for all his annoying traits, would sacrifice himself to save her.

The Queen woke up again but was tired, "Who were you speaking to?" she asked. Richard said "Janus, he was checking up on you". "Isn't he a darling! He misses me." she replied as both of them were rather similarly weird people.

Janus put down his phone and sighed. He picked up a dagger and threw it at his John Calvin dart board.

Alexei was doing his best to hold back tears -- successfully. "I never want to lose you, either, darling. And I never will." Alexei sat down on a cough, still holding Katherine tightly, and everyone else followed his lead. Alexei and Prince John looked at each other, and the Prince nodded to Alexei, which Alexei returned. The Czar then turned to the Shogun.

"Shogun Kenshin, we have sworn that this story would never leave those involved, but I believe that these people -- especially my wife to be -- have a right to know." He sighed and looked down at the floor, then looked back up again to meet Kenshin's gaze. "As I was quite literally/ not myself, I believe you are the only one present qualified to present the story in entirety. Shogun, please explain everything. Do not leave out a single detail."

Antonette sat down, and waited for the story. He didn't want to know it, as he could tell it wasn't a good one. But he felt he had to.

Alexei was doing his best to hold back tears -- successfully. "I never want to lose you, either, darling. And I never will." Alexei sat down on a cough, still holding Katherine tightly, and everyone else followed his lead. Alexei and Prince John looked at each other, and the Prince nodded to Alexei, which Alexei returned. The Czar then turned to the Shogun.

Kathy sat down next to Alexei looking at him out of concern. She braced herself for what the story to come.

Kenshin sat down and began his story. One that would shake sanities throughout the room...

"It started as what I believe was a diplomatic gala. Now, there were several representitives from their countries here. Myself, one from Snake-Eaters, and one from a newly allied nation, Kaymiril, among others. It was preceeding fine until somehow or other, a prophecy was discovered. I believe that it was about the time that Czar Ivan was showing us the Dragon Sword. One way or the other, a portel between this realm and the Dragon Realm was to be openned. The only way to do this was through collecting nine 'keys', we'll call them." He stopped to ensure everyone was following. When he was sure everyone was still semi-sane, he continued, "Mages from Kaymiril and Snake-Eaters were sent out, and achieved the goal of recovering most of these 'keys'. However, a much more sinster plot was developing. The Dragon King held Death himself at ransom, and the forces of hell were unleashed upon the Dersconi Flats. Multitudes of mages were summoned to combat them, and I myself, along with several others fought them. They were a single giant horde, and we weren't making a dent." he stopped again, grabbing a drink of water, and allowing the others to prepare themselves, "Then, miraciously, Heaven itself openned to us, and St. Michael led angels into battle on our side. While this was happening, Czar Ivan had his own fight. The Dragon King had been able to get into our realm, and was fighting with him inside the castle there. Now, before we go on, it is important you understand that Alexi, here, was indeed the Dragon King, though not aware of it. In this final battle, I had the honor of fighting alongside him, and was able to distract the dragon long enough for Ivan to deliver a final blow." He conveniently forgot that the distraction was himself being flung over a half-mile across the flats. "The stress, however, was too much, and Czar Ivan passed away there in the ruins of the room. The Dragon King was finally banished from Alexi and returned to wherever it went. And that's about it. I may have missed some parts, so if any of the others know anything I missed, they can add it in." He finally finished his tale. He looked around, expecting to see looks of disbelief, etc, etc...

President Server just stared as his wife was wide eyed. The kids wore solemn expressions because of the loss of life that entiled from the fight that was just recalled.

Kenshin read their expressions. "You're right, several entire battlilions of mages lost their lives to this demonic threat. Of the important heads of state, though, all but Czar Ivan lived."

Alexei nodded. "Correct. I am ashamed and sometimes terrified that a force like Damonagaashi was able to possess my body, and especially that he used it to kill my father, Czar Rekjyavich Ivan Andropov III." He took in a deep breath.

"For those of you still wondering, I will tell you what Damonagaashi was. The Dragon King was created by God before time. Before time existed, all of the realms were of one entity -- Heaven, Earth, Dragon Realm, etc, etc. Now, God had many things to do, and even though he is omnipotent, he didn't feel the need to have to worry about ruling along with being God. So, he created the Dragon King.

"Now, the Dragon King was weak compared to God, and Satan saw this as an oppertunity to overthrow the hierarchy. Satan at this time was more powerful than the Dragon King, so God Himself had to interject. It was at that point he created a seperate realm -- hell -- and cast Satan and his followers in it. Afterwards, the Dragon King was granted enormous power, and a new sword." Alexei materialized the Dragon Sword and held it up for all to see. "This sword. The combined strength of his newfound power and this sword enabled Damonagaashi to be JUST AS POWERFUL as God, but without the ability to create life." He nodded at a few disbelieving looks.

"Hear me out. Well, Eventually, Damonagaashi got powerhungry, and turned against God. Fortunately, though, God was prepared for it, and managed to degrade the Dragon King into nothing, and cast him into a rift in reality. He did not -- no, could not -- kill him, though, as that would cast him into hell, where he might side with Satan. Instead, the Lord threw him in a rift in reality for eternity. But, because the Lord saw that the Dragon King was able to assemble massive armies, he split reality into many realms. All of these were connected by a gap in reality known as the Nexus. At this Nexus contained portals to all of the realms, except one -- Heaven.

"Well, the Dragon King vowed that one day he would combine the realms and overthrow God. Now, there's a catch.

"The Dragon King could not defeat God, but God could not defeat the Dragon King, if he regained all of his lost power. The bible prophesizes that Good will ultimately triumph over Evil -- which would happen, as long as the Dragon King does not escape before Judgement Day. If he escaped and made it to full power, all of Creation would be engaged in a war that would rage on for eternety, destroying all life, rendering the Lord's Creation useless.

"Well, the Dragon King did escape -- though me. But, he had to do one thing -- Damonagaashi HAD to recover the Dragon Sword, as that was the only thing that could defeat him." Alexei took a sip of water -- actually, he went bottoms up on the glass -- and wiped the swear from his forehead.

"Now, only an Andropov could weild the sword. Why? Because Andropov in ancient Dersconi means -- get this -- Dragon Master. The reason Damonagaashi could possess me was because the Andropov's are decendents of the Dragon King. Now, the Dragon King could not possess any other previous ruler since his escape because they had Rekjyavich blood in them. Somehow, when my mother gave birth to me, I recieved not a single trace of Rekjyavich blood -- I was one hundred percent Andropov." He sighed.

"What you saw me transform into was a form of the Dragon King. It was his physical attributes, but not his soul. Also, that was not nearly full power." Alexei smirked.

"But that's for another day."

At that time, Reichfuerher Reinhard Heydrich, Commander of the Dersconi Schutzstaffel, entered the room, and saluted the Czar.

"Good evening, sir," he said after snapping down his salute. He handed over some documents.

"First off, I apologize coming in unannounced, but this was important." Alexei nodded.

"That's fine, please, sit down." Reinhard nodded, took a seat, still at attention. He looked around the room at the leaders. Why are so many people in shock? He shrugged it off and started his briefing.

"Sir, we've finalized our investigation on the rouge assassins that stormed the walls. It is confirmed that all of the assassins were from the Romanovsgrad Waffen-SS, specifically the Fourth Shock Troopers. As you know, one month before today, the commander of the Fourth Shock Troopers was arrested and excecuted for apostacy and being a homosexual, both of which fall under the Heresey laws, which is a capital offense.

"Probing further into the files, evidentally virtually all of the soldiers in the Fouth Shock Troopers were suspected of homosexuality, but none were convicted." He took a sip of his water.

"As I'm sure you heard, the mayor of Romanovsgrad began conducting raids on known homosexual safehouses after recieving a tip from the Moscow SD. He found arms cashes of military grade weaponry which was traced back to the Romanovsgrad SS.

"SO, evidentally, these troopers were a bit angry, and they attempted to attack you personally.

"After a joint investigation by the SD and your Praesillei Dei in charge of the defense of RAMC, it was found that the Fourth Shock Troopers made their way in to here with their SS uniforms, and in thier haste, simply put on their assassin garb over their SS uniforms." He sighed.

"And that's about it."

"That's hideous!" Paisley exclaimed. "Don't you let those pansys make you try and change your laws! At least you still have the Commonlaw Offense of Blasphemy. I must say....you could be arresting alot more people." Paisley laughed at his own joke.

"Like I say," Emperor Napoleon pontificated. "If the enemies are blending in with the trees...then burn down the forrest. It might take some extra casualties, but you'll flush them out and make sure they won't bother you again."

"Now that is what I called clumsy." Server retorted.

Alexei smirked. "Since when did I have the intention of changing my laws? If anything, I'll make them tougher. I'm half-tempted to reactivate the forced labour camps from my great-grandfather's reign." He shook his head. "That's a bit drastic, though. I won't do that unless the water turns red." He then looked at the Reichfuerher.

"Crack down on them. Make it public -- day raids, not night. Execute them in the streets if you have to. Dismissed." Reinhard snapped to attention and saluted.

"Yes, sir." With that, he marched off. When the door closed, Alexei yawned, adn looked at the clock and went wide-eyed.

"Oh my! One AM. Well, I think I'm going to hit the sack. It has been a long day."

At that point, the Queen fell asleep again in the Regent's lap. He was quite strong and put her on his shoulder. "Goodnight everyone, I think the wife needs get back to her room." he disappeared out of the room with her over his shoulder with a contigent of Praesillei Dei as escort. It was a good thing his wife was not terribly heavy, but that sword was.

"Holy Shit" muttered Antonette .
"Anyway, I will be going to bed to. Night everyone." He walked back to his room, and slept.

Kathy just stared at Alexei as he gave orders to the person in uniform. She was still in shock over the tale that was just told. She gave him a kiss then walked out of the office with her aide.

They talked about all that was said and she begins to question herself if she is making the right choice in marrying Alexei. She entered her room and sat down on the bed thinking. Her closet door was still open and she stared inside it, looking at her wedding dress that was hanging up. Apparently, it was delivered while she has been entertaining. She grabbed her remote and flipped on Formal Dances News Network and began to watch some live coverage of her wedding that was taking place tomorrow.

She got out of her ball gown that she was wearing and puts on one of her nightgowns and continues to watch television. She rolled over and the next thing she knew she was fast asleep.

Remembering what happened last time, Kenshin retired to his own room instead of falling asleep in the corner again. For some reason, he felt entirly drained. The memories haunted him, but the part about Death seemed to be tugging at something in the back of his mind. He couldn't place it, but he thought it was something importent. Oh well, he thought, laying down and turning out the light. Soon, he was asleep. His dreams were filled with images of swords and goats.

When everyone left, he made his sword dissapate again and walked over to the safe under his desk. When he locked it up, he headed to his bed.

Kathy Rice was sound asleep when something blaring finally brought her out of her slumber. She rolled over and looked at the television set. It was on to her native land's news channel and she moaned. She realized that it was still very early but she wanted to make sure that she didn't oversleep. The television was showing where the wedding was taken place and that the media was parked outside. They also had a split screen showing the guest house where she and everyone else belong to GP was staying.

She got even more annoyed when her aide walked in smiling.

"Good morning Czarina Andropov." Melissa said with a chuckle.

"I'm not Czarina Andropov yet Melissa." Kathy stated with a yawn. "Today I will be though." She flipped the covers and stared at the TV

Today will be a glorious day for Formal Dances as well as for Derscon. Today, our own Katherine Rice will be marrying Czar Alexei Andropov. We will have full live coverage of the wedding as it takes place. HOwever not everyone is pleased with the impending marriage of former President Rice and Czar Andropov. This is what House Minority Leader Duncun had to say.

"Today Katherine Rice, hero of the revolution to oust the Monarchy, is marrying into a monarchy. She is betraying everything she has fought for by entering into this marriage. I still say she is getting blackmailed into it do to what we faced last year. This is abominition. I still wish her happiness but I think she is still making a mistake."

That was Representative Duncun from Waltz Island. The three representatives from Tiara Island, her home region have the opposite view.

"We are all happy about this. She maybe marrying into a monarch but she hasn't shown us anything that she is compromising all she fought for here. She is following her heart and that is what counts. We wish her happiness and success. I just wish that I could be there to attend the wedding myself because I do support the wedding. Infact, in Congress, I have introduced a resolution praising the union between Ms. Rice and Czar Andropov. From all accounts, it should pass overwhelmingly."

As you can see, most people are are rejoicing about this union. It has met with sound approval from the President on down to the average Formal Dancian. We'll have more live coverage from Derscon after this.

Kathy just shook her head as she made herself a cup of coffee. "Betraying what I fought for my ass Duncun." she muttered to herself as she sipped her coffee. "Ok Melissa! Now that I had a sip of coffee, what is 1st on the agenda."

"Well... Your first appointment is with President Wilson followed by Breakfast with your family. After that, its a limo ride to the Church for your wedding."

"Sounds like a productive day." she retorted with a giggle. She walked over to her closet and pulled out her wedding dress. She smiled as she moved her hands over it. "He'll like it." Kathy said softly.

"I know he will." Melissa replied. "Don't you think you should get ready to see President Wilson?"

"THough he's seen me in pjs, I better. I'm not putting on that dress till I get to the church though." She went back to her closet and rummaged through it till she found her sky blue gown. She got what she needed and proceeded to take her shower and change.

When she was done she walked down the hall for the meeting.

King Antonette rose early. He took a shower, brushed his teeth, and put on his Drakkar Noir, his favorite cologne. He got dressed. He put on his dress uniform- http://www.geocities.com/maltaknight1/site_contents/knights/knight3.jpg

He walked down the hall and saw Katherine. He walked up to her and said,
"Kathy, good luck today. I'm sure you will do fine, though."

Kenshin awoke from a fitful sleep in a rather annoyed mood. He walked over to his suitcase and pulled out the only objects in it, a violet kimono that looked exactly like the one he had on. His current one didn't even have wrinkles. He, he...No one will know the difference. He thought to himself.

After washing up, he walked out of his room, trying to see if he could find the Czar for one last well wish. Kenshin knew that the moment the wedding was done, he'd be lost for months on some exotic honeymoon.

Alexei woke up with a startle to find his pillow soaked with sweat, and his eyes filled with tears. For the thousanth time, he relived that horrid fight scene with his father, and the image of himself as Damonagaashi killing his father constantly replayed in his head. He stuffed his face in his pillow and screamed, trying to get the images out of his head. He finally got out of bed, and realized he had a major headache, finding out the reason five seconds later via a quarter-empty bottle of Stochnya Vodka. He sighed and shook his head. Damn, I'm gonna have to stop drinking. Alexei thought about what he said, and chuckled to himself. THAT's a thought bordering on treason!

He stood up and walked over to the ajoining bathroom -- his clothes set out on a table from the previous night -- and took a (very long and very) hot shower, to wake him up and chase away the hangover.

He got out, dried himself off, and put on a new set of clothes, after brushing his teeth, flossing, and using mouthwash to remove the smell of the strong pepper vodka.

Dragging himself out of the bathroom, Alexei collapsed into an easy chair and turned his TV to GPNN, which was -- unsurprisingly -- covering the wedding, as well as the random news topics for the day, none of which he really cared about at the moment. He sighed and took a sip of some good Russian tea he made previously. My last time ever having this room alone, Alexei though, smiling to himself. It'll be worth it. He just hoped his wife wouldn't die like his father's did -- in a large nuclear explosion.

Actually, Alexei preffered she not die at all, but that's besides the point.

After about fifteen minnutes of GPNN, he finally got up and headed out to the Star Office to be warmly greeted by a large stack of papers on his desk, which he immediately threw in the wastebasket. He exited the Star Office and took the "elevator" into the Grande Hall down to ground level, and walked his way to the Great Lounge, where he flopped himself on a couch, picked up a root beer float, and started throwing darts at the board, which at the moment had a picture of Karl Marx on it. Alexei wasn't in the mood for breakfast.

Usually a great shot, a specific girl named Katherine Rice was in his head, so he couldn't hit a single bullseye. Sometimes he didn't even hit the dartboard. He sighed and gave up after awhile, and flipped on ESPN Sportscentre on the 100'' plasma screen newly installed to catch up on the hockey games.

President Server was watching GPNN as well and smiling to himself. His wife came out of the bathroom all dolled up and ready for the wedding.

"In some ways John, this reminds me of our own wedding night. Remember how grand that was?"

"Yes I remember sweetie. You looked gorgeous in your wedding dress. This will make our wedding pale however. Remember that we got married right after our Civil War. We didn't have a big elaborate wedding but it was still grand none the less." He replied as he kissed his wife.

The kids came charging in from an ajoining room having a fake lightsaber duel. John just rolled his eyes and witha slight flick of the wrist, flipped their fake sabers into the air. That got the kids attention as he knew it would. Erica gave an amused smile.

"Now that I have your attention. It is time for you to get dressed. We leave in an hour. You better be dressed within a half hour. If not, I'll place an ysalimari in your room and make you do all your chores by hand. You should anyway."

The kids grumbled but they trudged back into their room and were dressed within twenty minutes. They Server family then walked downstairs to eat breakfast.

"Thanks John." She said as she walked by him. She entered the room given to the President and they began to talk about her upcoming wedding as well as current affairs back in FD. They also talked about her honeymoon to Tiara Island and how security was going to be arranged. After the meeting, they walked together down to her family's room and there, she enjoyed a delicious breakfast.

After Breakfast was done. They all went back to her room. She picked up her wedding gown and the accessories and proceeded to leave the guest house. They quickly crossed the street without much trouble and managed to slip past the press without them noticing.

"Phew. Made it past that." Kathy stated as she proceded to the room that she was assigned to change into her gown. Her mother and sister walked in with her while President Wilson waited for the Czar to show up.

"Yes we did. I don't like the press any more than you do Katherine. They are necessary and this type of event is drawing them all. Don't worry my daughter. You don't have to listen to them. This is your day."

"But all those cameras."

"Relax sis. Just think of this as a private wedding and everyone has a video camera taping it. That is basically what they are doing. They are taping the ceremony."

"Its being broadcasted live sis."

"I know that. Just try to relax. Soon, you'll be standing up next to the man you love and pledging yourself to him. That is all that counts in my book. Doesn't matter if there are cameras there or not."

"She's right Katherine. This is nothing compared to running for public office."

"Now there you have me mother." She walks into the changing room and begins to change out of her clothes and into her wedding gown.

"Besides," Prince John, who was there for a bit. "If the press gets out of hand, we have a hefty security force that will...uh...stop them," he said with a sly grin.


Alexei, who was down in the lounge, turned off the TV when his stomach started growling. Well, looks like I won't be skipping breakfast after all. Instead of entertaining his guests -- which in not doing so was about the equivialent of committing a mortal sin in the Russian culture; they'd understand, he thought to himself -- he headed back to the Star Office and had breakfast brought up to him.

After he scarfed that down, he just sat there, staring at Andropov Tower. I never did find out where they bury the Czarinas. He shook his head. Why are you thinking of her death already? He chuckled and spun back to his desk. You're not THAT old. He did some paperwork and noted thankfully that he had nothing scheduled for today.

Except the marriage, of course.

God! I can't sit still, I can't concentrate, I can't do anything! He turned to look back at Kremlin Cathedral, as well as all the cameras desecrating the Holy Ground of the Cathedral and Andropov Tower. I wonder if the reporters know they'll be shot if they try to climb the Tower? He smiled at the thought. I hope they don't. He chuckled to himself. That's your one sick thought for the day, Alexei. No more. He stood up and scanned the Cathedral once more before exiting the Star Office and heading back to the Grande Hall.

He took the "elevator" all the way down, past ground floor, and to the secure level. He entered the two massive blast doors via the retinal scanner and walked into one of the gateway basements into RAMC Security.

Alexei continued walking through the underground tunnel, bending around the foundations/catacombs of Andropov Tower and finally coming to a stairway leading up. He took it and ended up in the Priest's room of the Cathedral.

He made his way through the hallways and ended up in the main chapel.

The main chapel was more of a theater than it was a chapel or a church, but there's nothing in the Bible that said you couldn't be showy -- or for that matter, comfortable -- when preaching His Holy Word.

There were lines and lines of pews formed into five blocks. All of the pews had cushoned seats. The backs were not, though, as to allow comfort, but to not allow you to fall asleep during a particularly boring service.

The pulpit was high above the regular floor, as to make room for the choir chambers and the orchestra pit. Along the back wall, the fifth largest pipe organ in Derscon stretched along three walls. The pipe organ was played via keyboard in the pit or in the balcony above the pews, but the signal was sent to the hammers in the pipes, so while it was an electronic input, it was a totally real output. Alexei would sometimes come in and play it when he felt like being creepy, as he always played something in a minor key -- usually Phantom of the Opera, but Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor was always a fun one, too.

He climbed up to the balcony where the one keyboard set was, and after he checked it, he started playing Charles Camille Saint-Saëns Third Symphony for Organ on this pipe organ, and the majestic sound echoed throughout the entire chamber, and often went out through the rest of the Cathedral.

Kenshin's thought was actually true. Praesillei Dei snipers all around the city were scanning crowds of -- at the moment -- mostly reporters, and when Kenshin came out, and they saw he had a weapon, they decided that he might pull something, so they trained their weapons on him. After identifying him, the rest diverted their attention to the reporters again, fantasizing blowing their heads off -- no one really liked foreign reporters -- while three were still looking at Kenshin. Two were just bored, while one was using his scope to admire Kenshin's sword.



Alexei finally came to the Finale -- it wasn't the same without the full orchestra and the powerful tympani solo at the end -- and stopped.

Looking over the balcony, Alexei saw the Shogun enter the chamber, and -- true to Kenshin's thoughts -- Alexei started playing Imperial March, effectively giving away his identity to his good friend.

Dr. Paisley was roused from slumber rather early in the morning. He ate breakfast; a few scones with devonshire cream and some bacon and eggs. Napoleon likewise rose early and had breakfast; eggs benedict with turkish coffee. The two Emperor's tastes were not necessarily similar.

Napoleon made his entrance into the chapel. The press clamoured over him, but were held back by the Dersconi guards. The Imperial Guard saluted the Emperor as he passed and was escorted to the balcony of the Chapel, the Balcony closest to the stage with the Imperial Crest affixed to it and draped with red velvet.

Paisley made his way over to the chapel and set himself up in the Pastor's study, which the Pastor had graciously allowed him to use. He was dressed in the traditional puritain garb: Black suit with a white, winged clerical collar. It had been a while since he wore the suit. It hung loose on him in several places. Since his illness he had lost a great deal of weight and was no longer the stout and portly bulldog that he used to be. The cloud of old age hung heavily over his head as he pulled out his glasses and scanned the Bible for comfort. "Second Corinthians..." he muttered to himself.

Unlike many other preachers, Ian Paisley never wasted an opportunity to preach the Gospel. Whether it be at a funeral or at a wedding or whatever the event, he always used the event to preach the Gospel and never let the event, no matter how joyous or tragic, be taken out of context of the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As any good minister should, he prepared his mind for the service ahead and prayed for the strength he needed to keep going and to continue to tell the truth no matter what the odds were against him. He prayed for the Czar and the soon to be Czarina...that their life together would be long and happy. He prayed most of all that the faith of Prince John would find an equal in the Czar.

Alexei turned around on the bench to see the Emperor. Alexei didn't bother saluting -- they were good friends. Alexei did stand, though, to greet Napoleon -- mostly because the bench was solid, flat and wooden, and it hurt to sit on for long periods of time.

"Napoleon, it has been awhile since we last talked," he said, embracing him in the typical Russian fashion. Alexei's overall expression was calm, but his eyes showed nervousness and excitement. Alexei could hide it, but why would he want to?

"The Royal Box is obviously open," Alexei continued with a wink. "So you and your Imperial Guards, plus your guest of honor may sit there, if you wish. I, obviously, will not be with you," Alexei said, grinning.

"Now," he said, taking Napoleon down the stairs, and passing Shogun Kenshin on the way. "The Royal Box is that way," Alexei was saying, pointing to a door guarded by two Honor Guards. "I must get ready."

Queen Mariah woke up when she fell out of bed with soft thud. Her husband had removed her ruined dress and was only wearing her lingerie (which was her normal sleeping gear anyway). Her Nanny and husband picked her up as she was still half asleep.

The Nanny handed her Prince Arthur saying "This little fella should wake you up" as he was very active in the morning. Her overactive son did kind of cheer her up as he really liked playing with his Mum. Her man servant was unpacking a box with lots of dresses and laying them on the ground. She handed back her son to her Nanny and went to have a shower.

She came out in her skimpy bathrobe later and perused her selection of dresses. She asked her husband "How about going Spanish today?" pointed to bright red Spanish dress. He said "Too bright, and we're not in Spain or Portugal". This kind of went on for a while until they settled on a tight but stylish Italian number with her personal crest on the sleeves.

Eventually she and her husband left for the breadfast room, late as usual, and ate whatever was left. She drew her Sword of Darkness or Excalibur and polished the Black Obsidian until it was like a mirror. She looked at her husband "Remember our wedding day?" as she sheathed the sword. He said "All too well, although the night after was rather wild".

They went to talk to the Jeruselem press in Derscon later for some short interviews as well as the pre-arranged photo opportunities set-up to feed the Derscon tabloids who didn't know they were pre-arranged.

Archbishop John and Jacon were playing cards to pass some time and John didn't win a single game. "Curse you Jacob, I thought Jews were supposed to be against gambling" John was frustrated. Jacob laughed "I can't fight, but no card shark can fool me" as he won another Poker game.

King John made himself some breakfast, scarmbled eggs, bread, bacon, and a chocolate chip muffin. He drank his coffee, and went down to the chapel.
He saw Alexei, and walked over to him. He embraced him (in Italian style!), and began to say,
"Good luck Alexei. Need me to take care of any press?" he said, motioning to his swoord, "Or do the Praesillia Dei have it under control? Also, where will I be sitting?"

Dersconi Air Control,
This is Ridgian 1. We are holding the Carmelite Guards for the parade, as well as the Czars gift. We request permission to land.

President Wilson shook his head when he heard the opera song played. Then he chuckled as the Imperial March was played then followed the sound to where the czar was. He noticed that someone already beat him to him.

He walked up and stood beside the emperor.

"Good Morning your Majesties." he said with a bow. "I hope that you both are doing well."

After eating breakfast, the Server clan walked out of the guest house and proceeded to the Chapel. They had to fight the press as they entered but they were curteous to them and answered some of their questions.

"Yes we are quite thrilled at the wedding between these two." John stated to one of the press members from Formal Dances. He continued on and managed to make it into the chapel. John took a deep breath and used a jedi calming technique to calm himself.

All four of them proceeded into the main hall to take their seats for the ceremony.

The Regent and Queen Mariah entertained the press as she posed for the usual photos to feed the hungry mass. After this, they finally made it into the Chapel and the two Archbishops had sneaked to the Chapel past press as they were boring and not worth bothering unlike their leader.

The couple joined the two Archbishops. "Morning Jacob and John. Ready for wedding?" she asked them. John replied "Well, it better less eventful than your day yesterday. A Chapel is no place for fighting.". She patted her sword "I'm prepared."

Quite the character, Kenshin thought, sitting down in the front pew to begin some quick morning prayers. Maybe a leash will do him some good after all...Should I have gotten Ms. Rice a collar for him as a wedding gift? He shook his head, knowing that he'd have been thorougly dead before he even got to the door knob. He pulled out a hymnal he had from his home church, and opened it to the Brief Order for Forgivness, and began conducting a quick service for himself. Later, he'd pray for all those who were there.

O’Neill woke up in a rather good mood. One reason was that, unlike most people, he was actually a morning person. The other was that he was glad that for once he did not have to make the forty-mile drive into work this morning, but instead had to walk just a few blocks over to the chapel.

After getting out of bed, he moseyed into the bathroom where he shaved and took a nice long hot shower. He then donned his dress uniform and strolled out of the hotel, forgoing breakfast for once.

"Wilson! Good day," Alexei said upon seeing him, but frowned afterwards. "I apologize if it seems like I'm avoiding you, but I must get ready! I will see you afterwards, no worries!" He patted Wilson on the back and climbed down to the main level of the chapel. He walked back into the back room -- the Pastor/Priest's Study, and found Doctor Paisley.

"Oh! Hello, Ian. Sorry to barge in on you, but I need to head back to the palace." Ian looked up with a raised eyebrow.

"The entrance is the other way. Don't tell me you were that blinded by love!" Paisley exclaimed jovially with his thick North-Irish accent. Alexei smirked.

"Not quite, but;" He walked over to a painting of Martin Luther and spun it on the wall so it was upside down, and whne you looked at it, you saw the sillouette of a passage in the painting with a crown in the center of it, and Luther's face looked like it was winking at you.

At that moment, the bookcase slid away and the passage back to the Kremlin was exposed. Alexei winked at Paisley and disappeared into the passage. When the bookcase closed, the painting spun back around and was back to normal.


Three minutes later, Alexei emerged in the Kremlin and took the floating platform up to the Imperial Level, through the painting of the Ressurection.

Walking through the Star Office, to the private chambers, he turned right to a walk-in closet, and tried to decide what he wanted to wear to present himself to Katherine.

Hmm, he thought to himself. Do I want my Throne Attire?. The throne attire is that in which he wears to corronations -- including his own. He nodded to himself and picked up the massive outfit of the Holy Czar of the Dersconi Empire.

(OOC: I can't describe it, as I don't quite know what it is. :D Also, there's no pics, as it is entirely my design.)

Alexei debated on wearing his crown, but decided against it. No, he'd wear it when Katherine is coronated in the Throne Room.

Hmm... He thought to himself again. He put back the "Throne Attire" as it was called, and instead opted out for "formal wear," which was what he wore for ceremonies, etc.

He changed right in the closet, and tossed his old clothing in the proper bin, where it slid down to the laundry room.

Alexei walked over to his room again, and opened the glass display with all of the medals, etc, that he earned as a military officer, and then himself being a Czar. It took ten minutes to get them all on, as it was a delecate process.

Thirty minutes later, he was on the main level of the Grande Hall, the massive gold doors begind him to enter the newly built security room/foyer of the palace. He decided against hitting the press, and went back through the secret tunnel. Five minutes later, he reimerged in the Pastor's office, and Paisley was still there. Alexei smiled.

"Hello again!" He continued on, entering the main chapel again, and headed up to the organ, and -- for kicks -- started playing Phantom of the Opera.



Outside, the Moscow Symphony Orchestra was arriving in buses, and filing inside, heading to the Orchestra pit. The Vienna Choir was also arriving on busses, ready to fill in the choir boxes.

The conductor entered the main chapel, and (obviously) heard The Phantom of the Opera. He looked up at the balcony, but couldn't catch who was playing. He shrugged it off and began setting up his music.

Katherine Rice emerged from the changing room wearing her very ornate wedding gown. (all the description for right now)

When she looked into her mother's eyes, her mother was smiling. "You look gorgeous my daughter."

"Yes you do sis. EVen more beautiful than I was at my own wedding."

"Remember hun. This is the first day of your new life. Enjoy it."

"Then why do I feel so... nervous?" Kathy asked.

"Because it is nerves. ITs only natural Katherine. You'll do fine." She looked over at her other daughter. "Come on. We have to take up our places."

At that moment there was a knock on the door. "Everyone decent?"

"Yes Mr. President, we are."

President Wilson walked in and carefully gave eachone of them a hug. "Kathy, thanks for giving me the honor of giving you away."

"Eric, you have been instrumental in all of this. Next to my mother, you have been my biggest supporter. Since my father isn't alive to do it, its only natural that I ask you, my father's friend, to do so."

He gave her a bow. "Thanks anyway, your majesty." he said. "Better get used to that title now."

"I know."

"Come! We are going to our places. The ceremony should be about ready to start." Lauren stated. She walked out the door and went to the pews as Kathy's sister and President Wilson went to their respective spots.

Katherine stayed in the dressing room till it was time for her to walk down the aisle.

King John sat down in his place, and nodded to Kenshin. He didn't genuflect, as he knew the Eucharist wasn't present. He knelt and said a silent prayer, Father Almighty, I pray for Alexei and Kathy that their marriage will be long and have many happy times. I pray they will remain faithful, and to love each other, and to do your will. I pray for Prince John, the Shogun, and Katherine's family and friends. I pray for Dr. Paisley's conversion. I ask that today be a peaceful and holy day, but thy will be done, Amen. He crossed himself, and sat back in his seat.

President Server sat down in the pew next to the aisle. He made sure that the kids got sandwiched between him and Erica so that they'll stay out of trouble.

He looked around the chapel and noticed John Antonette praying. He stretched out with his senses looking for trouble. So far he isn't sensing it but he is sensing nervousness and happiness about wedding.

He noticed that everyone was taking their places so that told him that the wedding was about to start.

Napoleon sat in the Royal Box and overlooked the entire affair. The Imperial Guard stood in their posts, keeping constant watch. THe Captian of the entire Imperial Guard, Duc Guillame Richarde Lefebvre de Centreville, sat next to Napoleon. Both were arrayed in full formal attire.

After a short walk, O’Neill finally arrived at the chapel, and as expected, the press was there. Even though he was not too fond of them, he kindly answered their questions and even cracked a few jokes for a little while, but soon he realized that the wedding was going to start. He excused himself and hurried into the chapel. There, he made his way to where he would sit.

The Catholic Jews (Mariah and Jacob) were sitting next to each other as the ceremony started. Jacob asked "You lined up anyone to marry my sister yet?" to the Queen. She smiled "She's not looking really yet, but I hear she likes someone who isn't supposed to get married". Jacob asked "Who would that be?" and John butted in "Janus, who fancies someone else who know who it is.". Jacob looked at John "Caroline can't marry an Inquisitor. He's supposed to be a Warrior Monk.". John shrugged "If he retires he can. Anyway she's models herself on Madam over there. So there isn't a problem. Nice thought Jacob?". Jacob pondered "Janus, my brother-in-law ... hang on I'll be the one conducting the ceremony too."

King John looked around and noticed Napoleon sitting in the Royal Box. He looked up and gave him a nod, and also acknoledged the Duc Centreville. He looked at the Jeruselem delegates and thought,
I hope they shut up when the actual ceremony starts.

Alexei stopped playing and disappeared so the orchestra and choir could warm up. After about five minutes of tuning, etc, the conductor began conducting the ochestra and choir in Vivaldi's Gloria in Excelsis Deo as a warm-up of sorts.

When that was done, the doors in the back opened and Alexei started walking down, escorted by the Twenty members of the Praetorian Guard and ten Honour Guards.

Alexei took his position in the front, where Paisley was, and began chatting with him.

"Nervous, I am," he said, with an obviously nervous smile. The Praetorian Guard formed up around the altar platform, and the ten Honour Guards lined up along the main isle, five per side. Two other Honor Guards were stationed at the doors into the chapel.

Since the doors were open to the outside as well as into the chapel, a breeze was coming in and out of the hot chapel room, making Alexei's cape fly in the wind, giving a very majestic appearence to him.

Alexei just looked around as some of the public and press were filing into the chapel. Stop TWITCHING! he thought-yelled to his hand. The Czar looked up to see the organist take his place, and everything was quiet.

Katherine Rice was staring up at a TV monitor watching the whole scene unfold. She watched as the people filed into the Kathedral and then watched the honor guard form up.

It was at that point that President Wilson knocked on her door again.

"Kathy? Its time."

She stared at the screen again and watched as Alexei moved his way to the front.

She snickered slightly because she knows he's just as nervous as she is. She looked over at Eric who was still in the doorway.

"Yes, I guess it is." she said. She turned off the tv and walked with him towards the doors and her brand new life.

I sure as hell hope I don't cry...These things are always so happy, Kenshin thought to himself. The pew backings were starting to make him a bit sleepy, though...

O’Neill leaned back in his pew and admired the interior of the chapel, as it became silent. Because of the lack of activity there, his mind soon began to wander. This place is beautiful, he thought. I’ve been in very few churches but this has to be the best and especially when it’s decorated for a wedding. Then, his mind took a wrong turn. Ahhh…I remember my wedding. That had to be the best day of my life. Until, that happened… He started to play back the day that his son found his loaded handgun in his bedroom nightstand, then he caught himself. C’mon, snap out of it! This is supposed to be a happy occasion with happy thoughts. He closed his eyes and shook his head as if to get his past out of it. That was one disadvantage to being a head of state, he now had more time to let those memories resurface. In the past, that rarely happened especially when he was commanding his team out there on other worlds. Something was always going on so he did not have time to think about such things. He looked around a bit more to focus his mind elsewhere as he waited for the wedding ceremony to begin.

The kids settled down as Alexei walked passed the pew. John gave a slight bow to him as he walked by.

He then saw the guards lining up next to the pews with 5 on each side and he smiled at that. He then waited for what was coming next because he still remembers his own wedding day.

King John nodded to Alexei as he went bye. This si the first time I've seen him nervous he laughed to himself.

The Carmelite Guards began taking their places for the parade, and preparing the gift.

Alexei took a deep breath. Why are you nervous? This is the happiest moment of your life. Stop being stupid. All you have is joy ahead of you. With those comforting thoughts, he stopped figeting and was calm.

At that point, the organ and the orchestra began playing "Wedding March." When Katherine came out (OOC: Only taking a small liberty here), the Honor Guards along the main isle immediately snapped to attention and rose their massive staves in the air, forming an upside down V-shape over the isle.

The Praetorian Guard, which were formed around the altar and Alexei himself, also snapped to attention as one body, moved their shields so they faced away from the alter, and snapped their swords up so it was completely parallel to their straight spines. Their FW/X-66B laser blasters were behind them, strapped to their backs, where they went unseen. The four "Jedi" Praetorian, who were directly to the side and back of Alexei, did not hide their lightsabres, which were strapped to their belts.

Alexei just looked down the isle at the approaching Katherine, keeping himself calm by what only could be called Divine Intervention.

Kathy and Eric walked down the aisle when the music started to play. Kathy was smiling ear to ear as she proceded past the guards in her white wedding gown with sequence and lace down at the cuffs of the sleeves. Down around her around her ankles also had lace. She was also wearing a veil.

She proceded past the guards at the proper pace to the point where Eric peeled off and she finished the walk on her own.

She walked up to where Alexei was standing and accepted the hand that he offered and they both walked up to the alter.

Alexei looked over her as he helped her up the stairs to the altar. My God, she's the mose beautiful woman I've ever seen. He resisted the urge to kiss her.

After "Wedding March" subsided, the orchestra and the organist were at a standstill. They had a playlist lined up.

All that they had to do now was listen to Doctor Paisley.

IC: Paisley stood before the young couple. He looked much like a Puritan of old in his appearance. He held both of his hands out, an old worn Bible in his right, and said to all present, "We are gathered here today to join Czar Alexei Andropov and Katherine Rice in Holy Matrimony."

The audience nodded an affirmation. After all, they WERE there for that purpose.

"Marriage is something very sacred. That goes without saying. Marriage is the process by which two souls become united as one together. Both the groom and the bride, husband and wife must understand that when they take the vows of marriage, they are taking a solemn oath. This is not something that real Christians can shrug off as modern society does. We find in Corinthians that the believing husband can even justify the unbelieving wife. That is the kind of power this has! It is a bond which cannot be broken! Let us look at what the Westminster Confession has to say about Marriage.

24:2 Marriage was ordained for the mutual help of husband and wife (Gen_2:18), for the increase of mankind with a legitimate issue, and of the Church with an holy seed (Mal_2:15); and for preventing of uncleanness (1Co_7:2, 1Co_7:9).

Be aware fully that Marriage is a mutual agreement. The man and the woman help eachother maintain a proper, Christian household. However, it is manifestly clear that the man IS the head of the household. The wife should be in submission to the husband, but that does not give the husband permission to be abusive to his wife. A household should not be run like a co-equal partnership, nor should it be run as a male dominated dictatorship. The husband has his role, the wife has hers. If both attend to their roles as the Bible says they should, then the house will stand strong. The head of the household should be man, but the centre of the household should be Christ. I say this to all who are married, if Christ is not the centre of your household, if you do not live from every word that proceedeth out of the Lord's mouth, you ought to do some rearranging of your priorities because brothers and sisters, God is ALWAYS the top priority whether we choose to recognize that or not!

And I say to you who are unmarried, to those who are considering marriage, and to the couple here before me on the altar today, if Christ is not the centre of your relationship, then you have no business being together. God is paramount in all things.

Now, the ultimate aim of marriage is to bring forth children into this world, for the preservation of mankind. It is the duty of father and mother, husband and wife to raise these children in a proper Christian environment. A Father should be a father to his children and a Mother ought to be a mother, they are not to be their child's best friend! It is wonderful if your child will treat you as if you were, it is wonderful indeed. But always remember that your children aren't always going to like you and you need to do what's right, not necessarily what will make them happy. In the end doing what's right will make them happy. Teach them the scriptures, never neglect the book." He tapped the Bible with his hand. "Some folks take this book and throw it on their shelf and there it sits, unused and neglected. You could pull that book out and trace the word 'Damnation' in the dust on its cover!

Now what if one should seek to break this bond? Let us look again at the confession.

Paisley signaled to bring forth the rings.

Dr. Paisley looked out over the audience, with no expectation of interuption.

Queen Mariah hoped this wedding would not be embroiled in controversy with no objections lodged. The day before was eventful enough as it was and hopefully no more spanners in the works, but God worked in mysterious ways. She tuned her senses for disturbances in the serenity of the Chapel and detected some abnormalities.

All of the guards were scanning the crowd and were highly alert. Now would be the optimum time for an assassination, due to the symbolic reference. The Praetorian were sliding their rifles from their backs near their fronts, and the four "Jedi" Praetorian's hands were suddenly a lot closer to their lightsabres than usual.

The pews had been getting to Kenshin for some time now, but finally it was unbearable. Without even thinking, the unimaginable happened. He opened his mouth in a wide yawn...and his arm rose high up in a stretch....Instantly, he realized what he had done, yet he stared at his own arm for a few. Then, he looked at the faces staring at him, and then back at his arm. At the crowd, at his arm, at the crowd, at his arm, at Paisley and Alexi and Katherine, and at his arm.....Oh..........Shit. he thought. Slowly, he put his arm back down, scratched his head, and slouched into the pew a little, trying to hide in the wood work. Dispite the fact it was live tv, he found himself hoping that not too many people had seen him. .........ahhhh.....Hell.....I'm toast.

Alexei was shocked and angry at the Shogun, but hid his emotion and outlash when he realized it was a (really, really dumb) mistake, and the Shogun must be extremely embarrassed. Serves him right.

The Guards, on the other hand, flipped the safties off their rifles and drew them up, with the visible laser sights all trailed on Kenshin's outstreched hand. Unfortunately, this gave away five of the sniper's positions, but it added dramatic affect.

When everyone realized it was just a major fuckup on behalf of the Shogun, the laser sights flipped off and the guards went back to attention.


Alexei had other things on his mind at the moment, though. He aleady slipped the ring he got for her (with his own money, not taxpayers), and it was perfect (he hoped). There was only one thing left to do. Come on, Paisley, he thought with an inward smile. Get to the part where I can kiss her!

Kenshin saw the beams on his hand as it went down. When he was sure it was safe, he thought to himself, Hey! My arms intact! I must be the luckiest guy alive. Noticing, though, Alexei's reaction and the gaurds, and the dumbest, and the most hated, and Derscon's Most Wanted, and the laughing stock of the world, and in deep shit, and an idiot, and not alive for long, and in deep shit, nothing's ever going to make this right, and I'm still in deep shit....damnit, Kenshin, what the F*#^'s wrong with you? I'm in deep shit.

When Kathy saw the Shogun's hand go up, she turned her face away from everyone else to hide the hurt she was feeling.

Her mother was furious but somehow managed to maintain her cool. President Wilson though saw it for what it truly ways and calmed her down.

"It was only a misunderstanding Lauren" he whispered to her as the Shogun slumped in the pew. "Relax. No one was going to object to this. THose that might, are back in FD and not here."

"Your right Eric."

When Kathy looked over at President Wilson, she just received a slight nod and a little smile. Kathy knew what that ment and sent him a slight smile and then turned back to her husband and wait for the rest of the ceremony to conclude.

King John tried very hard to hide his smirk at what had happened, and luckily succeded. He would crack up laughing after he wa sout of the church, he knew that. He waited for the ceremony to continue.

OOC: Derscon, you told me to stop there, but ok, if thats what you want.

IC: After there were no objections, only a spat of idiocy from the Shogun, Paisley raised both his arms in the air again and stated proudly, "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

The audience roared their approval, applauding and giving a standing ovation.

OOC: You did it right dude. :D He did tell you to stop. Apparently for the small by play that went on. :)

As the applause went on for Alexei and Katherine, the Regent realised why there were a few empty seats during his own wedding. The Inquisition had throw out the troublemakers secretly during the ceremony.

President Server stood up with everyone else and was applauding. If he could get away with it, he'd ignite his saber and give them a proper Jedi salute but he thought better of it.

His wife was also smiling at the newlywedded couple and the kids were just applauding because they are bored with the whole thing.

King John stood up and appaulded with everyone else. He nodded at the Czar and Czarina, hoping they would see.

Throughout the applauding, Kenshin was very, very glad that he was a full head shorter than everyone else, as it kind of hid him. There would be, however, no escape from the ridicule.

Alexei was absolutely overjoyed when Paisley announced it. Alexei swept Katherine off her feet, removed her veil, and leaned down to kiss her. At this moment, the Honor Guards snapped to attention, held their staves in the direction of the altar. The Praetorian Guard smashed their swords against their diamond shields, creating a very loud cymbal crash sound, and the Orchestra started the Coda Charles Camille Saint-Saens' Third Symphony for Organ, this time including the very loud and powerful tympani solo at the end.

Up in the Royal Box, sitting next to Emperor Napoleon, Prince John had a stopwatch out. When Alexei's head finally came up from Katherine's face, John stopped it and leaned over to the Emperor.

"Wow. Two minutes, thirty-three seconds," the Prince remarked with raised eyebrows. "Not bad."

Back down at the altar, Alexei shot a glance and a telekinetic communication to the Shogun. Don't worry, I know you don't object. I won't kill you -- promise. I'll see what I can do about press coverage, but I'm pretty sure that's live. You may want to lay low for a bit.

Alexei looked around some more. He returned King Antonette's nod. When the Orchestra played God Preserve the Czar, Alexei interlocked his arm with Katherine's and they walked down the isle together. They weren't going far -- just to the Kremlin Palace across the street for the after-wedding reception (read: party), but it was tradition.

And of course, it was a sin and a crime not to have alchohol at a party. And as they were now married, they would have some.

Quite a lot, actually. But Alexei was a Russian, he could take it.

Antonette noticed Prine John and laughed to himself. Since the service was over, he walked over to Kenshin and said,
"Let me handle the press. I'm pretty good with them" He said with a smile

He walked over to the Press and immediatly they shouted questions about the Shogun. he responded,
"That was a mistake on his part. Havn't you ever done anything embarrasing? I can find out and broadcast it on internatinal T.V> too, you know" he said with a smile, "So leave him alone"

Katherine Andropov kissed her husband with the same passion as he was kissing her. When the kiss got broken she stared into his eyes that held a new twinkle and a very soft smile on her lips.

When the music started again, she took Alexie's arm and walked down the aisle with her husband to the wedding reception across the street.

She smiled at him the whole way down the aisle because she is a very happy young lady.

They walked through the church doors and proceeded to go outside to a throng a people. Both of them smiling, they stopped for quick pictures then proceeded to cross the street for their reception. They entered the Kremlin Palace for the first time as husband and wife.

The Queen walked over to the Shogun and gave him short but sweet kiss "Don't worry. We are all too human and these things happen. I get away with these things because people think I'm a dumb blonde although I can speak five languages and have a Master of Theology from the University of Jerusalem".

King John looked around and noticed that most people had someone to go to the party with. He walked outside and up to the Carmelite guard commander,Captain Giuseppe Cucinotta, who was 52, (John is 24) who was waiting to march the Carmelite Guards in the parade. John walked up to him and said,
"Hey Joe, how are ya doing?"

"I'm pretty good John, how are you?"

"Im fine. Wheres the wife?"

"Shes back in CR. She didn't feel like coming."

"And the daughter stayed with her?"

"No, she had to come" he said sarcasticly, "She should be out in a minute."

As she walked out, her eyes met John's. 23 year old Gina walked out next to her dad, and said,
"Hi Dad."
She looked at Antonette and said,
"Your Majesty"

"Call me John, Gina, you know that."

"Ok, John. How are you today"

"Right now, Im perfect" he said smiling.

"Have fun at the party" she sighed

"What do you mean? Your coming too."

"What do you mean?"

"You can go with me!" he said, looking into Gina's eyes.

She blushed and stepped next to him.

John turned to his father and said,
"Goodbye, Captain!"

Maria said,
"Bye dad," still excited.

The Captain sighed and walked back to the guards.

I guess I have someone to go wihth now thought John, as they walked arm in arm into the hall where the party was being held.

Prince John snuck up behind King Antonette. "Oooh! Looks like Jonnie Boy found a date!" HE chuckled and slapped him on the back. "So, how ya doin?" He asked, handing over the un-cleared stopwatch with a wink.

Alexei and Katherine were already in the Imperial Ballroom, where Dersconi Ministers, Field Marshals, Grand Admirals, and MSS personnel were wandering around. It was almost guarenteed that every waiter was MSS, but what the heck.

A small ensamble from the Orchestra came over and set up on the stage. A few strings, a French Horn, Clarinet, Oboe, Flute, Sax, Trumpet, a few random percussion instruments, and a Drum Set? Alexei turned to Sir Charles Camille Saint-Saens, a famous composer and the Dersconi Minister of Culture.

"Why the drum set?" Charles shrugged.

"I'm not sure, Alexei." Of course, he was lying -- Mr. Saens managed to get a few of the Rat Pack over to the Kremlin, but that was tighter held than the ATLANTIS program.

"Oh, okay." Alexei and Katherine were chatting with some of the Military personnel and the Ministers while waiting for the foreign dignitaries to arrive.

Kenshin was hidden in a cornera cell phone in his hand, "Yes, that's right," he said. "I want roughly 500 of them...yes, I'll pay in full. Cash is all right, correct?" He flipped it back closed. He had figured out the perfect way to carry out the damage control.

A little while later, they arrived, and Kenshin got up in front of everyone, tapping his glass. "All right, all right! First, a toast to those who were recently just married!" He waited a little for everyone to take a drink. Then, he went on, "Now, I've made a small mistake today. Actually, the saying goes that everyone gets one mistake a day. I'm pretty well set for the next year. But, I can make it up. Bring them out, if you'll please!" At this, many carts bearing nearly 500 cream pies were brought out. I'll be hear for a few hours, so...feel free to get a few shots in while your here. I'll try to have a good time, but you know how this stuff is. You never can get it out of your hair." At this, he pointed to bright orange hair that was pulled back into a tail (it was still a mess though) and then put his hands behind his back and waited...

Gina's face grew red, as she took the stopwatch from Johns hand, and threw it on the floor. Normally a shy and calm person, Gina exploded.
"What the f**K do you think I am! Some kind of sex toy! I though you were supposed to be an archbishop!" she screamed at Prince John. She slapped him across the face. King John knew what was coming now: guards.
"Calm down Gina, calm down." he said softly, hurrying her as close to the door as possible, even though he knew he couldn't make it.

"How can I calm down with that animal!"

King John put his arm around Gina, so he could cushion her fall. He managed to mouth, "Sorry" to Prince John.

Count Richard and Queen Mariah looked at who John Antonette was walking around with. "Who is that?" Richard asked his wife. "Gina Cucinotta, daughter of some Ridgian Captain. She's pretty then?" she replied. He shrugged "Just curious. She's got one hell of a temper. " referring to her response to Prince John's teasing. She winked at him "What do expect from an Italian?".

She waved her arm and a cream pie lifted out of one of the carts, then hurled itself into Kenshin like it was fired out of a cannon. She said "Damn, too fast. Not supposed to be dagger speed.". She telepathically signalled to Alexei "Is it OK if I can get to sing a French wedding song for you. I can actually sing."

Archbishop Jacob ordered some wine while Archbishop John was reviewing an image of Kenshin getting hit by a cream pie on his camera phone.

When Gina went in for the slap, the Archbishop's hand went up at nearly inhuman speeds and caught her wrist. The Prince leaned in real close, and if one looked carefully, one could almost see a glowing red circle around his pupils.

"You should watch that temper, young lady," Prince John was saying, in a very quiet but stern voice, grasping her wrist to the point of nearly shattering it. "It may get you into trouble one day."

Meanawhile, three Honor Guards immediately rushed up to the group and restrained Gina on the ground after the Prince let go -- his eyes back to normal. Two of the guards had their staves pointed at her, while the other held her arms behind her back. The Prince dismissed them with a wave of his hand.

"Let her go. I'm sure she knows what to expect." With that the guards let her go, and the Prince walked into the Kremlin Palace, up to his office.

Inside, Alexei brought Katherine over to the cart full of pies and picked one up for himself, and handed one to Katherine.

"On three, honey," Alexei said to Katherine.

"Okay, sweetie."

"One...two...THREE!" With that, Alexei, who had two pies in his hand, and Katherine, who had one, tossed the pies at the same time, hitting the Shogun once in the face and two in the chest. "Well," Alexei commented. "That finishes that."

Gina held her wrist, since the Prince had nearly shattered it, and ran outside. King John followed her, and found her sitting agaisnt a wall, staring into space, with her eyes watering. John sat down next to her, and took her wrist in his hand, and rubbed it gently with his hand. Her eyes locked with his. He leaned forward, and so did she. their lips met, and they kissed for 245 seconds.
"You know, Gina, I think we beat the bride and groom." She smiled softly and then felt her wrist.
"That bastard. How could he be an archbishop?"

"They're protestants"

"Figures. Lets go back inside."

They both got up and walked back in. John whispered to Gina,
"This is the second time those guards have screwed with me." She just nodded, and glanced at her wrist.
"Theres ALexei and Kathy" said John, as they walked over to them.

"Hey Alexei, congradulations" he said, "You too Kathy"
"Gina this is Czar Alexei and Czarina Katherine Andropov."
He turned to Alexei and Katherine,
"This is Gina Cucinotta, daughter of the Captain of the Carmelite guards."

Gina added, outspoken as always,
"You seem a lot nicer than your idiot brother."

Despite the second dose of humiliation, Kenshin was rather enjoying himself. One day, I'll look back on these videos and laugh my ass off. he thought. He would need a shower soon.

They both got up and walked back in. John whispered to Gina,
"This is the second time those guards have screwed with me." She just nodded, and glanced at her wrist.
"Theres ALexei and Kathy" said John, as they walked over to them.

"Hey Alexei, congradulations" he said, "You too Kathy"
"Gina this is Czar Alexei and Czarina Katherine Andropov."
He turned to Alexei and Katherine,
"This is Gina Cucinotta, daughter of the Captain of the Carmelite guards."

Gina added, outspoken as always,
"You seem a lot nicer than your idiot brother."

"He can be a pain Gina. Just ignore him like I do. It is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Cucinotta. I do hope you have a good time." she gave a curtsie to Gina and then turned to her husband and gives him another kiss.

Gina returned the curtsie, and then let John put his arm around her. He took Gina's wrist Prince John had grabbed and massaged it softly.

After being caught towards the rear of the crowd leaving the chapel and by numerous interruptions by the press, O'Neill finally made it out of the chapel and towards the palace. ...and now my favorite part, the party, he thought as he entered into where the reception was being held.

President Wilson took the moment of intervention and walked up to the newly weds.

"Congratulations you two. I'm sure that together, you both will have a very long life together full of joy."

"Thanks Eric." Kathy said.

"No problem Your Majesty." Eric said with a chuckle. He then turned to Alexie. "Alexei, you have one special girl here. Take good care of her." He said as he shook hands with the Czar.

John and Gina walked over to the Jeruselem leaders. Before John could say anything to them, Gina said,
"Queen Mariah, Count Richard, my name is Gina Cucinotta. How are you?"

The Queen was interested who this young lady was but she was a perennial social busybody like any socialite was.

"We're great, we love weddings although preferably without assassination attempts. This is first time Antonette has introduced you to us. So how long have you known Antonette? He and I are like siblings which always fight." she said.

Richard looked at Gina and she reminded him of his first girlfriend which didn't work out. It was a good thing he didn't marry her or he wouldn't be where he is now, married to the leader of his nation. Still, it was painful part of his life.

The two Archbishops said "Nice to meet you" in unison.

Prince's Office, Kremlin Palace

The Prince took in a deep sigh. "I must learn to control myself," he was saying to what amounted to the wall. But he couldn't help it. Suddenly, a burning rage built up in him. His eyes glew red, and all of the glass around him shattered.

The four Jedi Praetorian Guards felt a sudden spike in energy, and perked up a bit, on guard. There is a disturbance in the Force, they all thought simutaniously. But it was only a spike, and it didn't come back, so they shrugged it off and went back to their duty.

Alexei took another cream pie, but instead of throwing it, he started eating it, getting a playful shove and giggle from Katherine, which earned her a pie in the face.

"Don't worry, Eric," Alexei said to President Wilson. "I'll take good care of her." Alexei put his arm around her and drew her close to him, with Katherine's face now covered entirely with whipped cream. Alexei resisted the temptation to lick it off, regardless of his love for the taste of whipped cream -- plus the love of the person who's face it currently covered -- as it would be highly inappropriate for a public setting.

When Gina and King Antonette came up and spoke, Alexei looked at her in shock. "John did that to you?" It was clear Alexei was confused. "That's not like him. Sure, he'll kid with you -- insulting, dry humor, a lot of times -- but I don't remember a single itme where he's EVER laid a finger on someone in anger." The Czar sighed. "I'll talk to him later. That's a shame -- he probably won't be down for the party. He's always livening things up, the stupid drunk," Alexei commented, chuckling. "It was nice meeting you."

With that done, he walked over to Kenshin. "Serves you right. Didn't your mom ever tell you not to sleep in church?" He said, grinning. "Anyways, if you want, I can have a guard take you to your room in the Guest House for a change of clothes and a shower."

Archbishop John got a phone call from the Inquisition and answered his mobile "Hello Janus, what do you want?" and the voice on the phone replied "We've captured a Jeruselem leader of Knight Templars. What do do you want me to do with him?". He replied "Lock him up until I return. If he tries to escape, kill him". He looked at Jacob "I think the Inquisition is bored."

"Nice to meet you, too, Your Graces." she said to the archbishops. She turned back to Mariah.

"I've known John for a while now. My dad is Captain of the Carmelite Guard, the King's guard and miltia. He is the first of the guards Captains to be first-generation Ridgian. His parents were from Venice. My mom is from Rome, but I was born in Sicily." said Gina

John just stood there listening to thee two ladies chat.

Prince's Office

The Prince slammed his fist down on his desk. "Crap! I almost forgot!" With his new thought, he discarded and forgot everything that happened previously and ran out of his office down to the kitchen, where he met the head cook.

"You guys ready?" The head chef, who was a former cook on the HMS Appolyon -- the old one, Nimitz class, not the new Archangel -- smiled and nodded.

"Absolutely, John--" The head chef and the Prince go back aways. "We're ready when you are." The Prince grinned.

"Excellent! Bring it up!"

The Ball Room

Five minutes later, the Prince entered the ball room, got up on the platform, and hit his glass with a knife.

"Hello, everyone! First off, congratulations to my younger brother and his lovely wife, Katherine, for their marriage!

"Now, we're all happy here, but we are missing the most important part of the wedding. Commander Emiril, please bring it in!" When the Prince called out to the open doors, the head chef rolled in the most important part of a wedding -- the cake.

The cake was a three-dimentional model of the outside of Kremlin Palace -- color and all, thanks to icing -- with figurines of Katherine and Alexei at the top, the figurines made of hardened confectionary sugar.

The cake itself, not including the figurines, was about half a meter high, half a meter wide, and a meter long. It was a really big cake.

The Prince jumped down from the platform and walked over to the massive cake. Commander Emiril handed over his officer's sabre to the Prince, and John took the sabre and cut the cake in half. He then cut out two slices, and handed them both to Katherine and Alexei. He resisted the sudden urge to place the cake firmly in their face, figuring Alexei and Katherine would do that themselves. He handed them over with a bow.

"For a happy marriage, Your Majesties." He rose when the took the cake, and handed the sabre back to Commander Emiril.

"All yours, buddy."

Kathy gasped when she saw the cake and walked over to it with her husband. She took the slice of cake from Prince John, resisting the urge to fling it into his face, and turned to her husband.

She smiled into his eyes and offered her slice of cake to him and placed it into his mouth.

Kenshin responded to Alexi, "You are forgetting that I was seperated from my family at ten...and rarely went to church because of my constant...er...training. So if she did, I honestly don't remember." he saw the cake. "A shower can wait, the cake looks delicious! Sorry again for the interruption."

Alexei gave Kenshin a stern look. "If you get your hair in the cake, I will order the Commander to stab you." It was clear he was joking -- who would actually kill their best friend? Alexei, seeing the piece of cake offered, took it, having Katherine place it in his mouth. And he ate it, enjoying the taste of the chocolate -- plus ice cream? -- cake all the way down. But, there's more important things that cake is for than just eating it. One of which is fulfilling Prince John's prophecy.

Which Alexei did, by taking his slice of cake and plastering Katherine's face with it, rubbing it all around, grinning and laughing while doing so. Prince John chuckled and shook his head. "I knew he'd do it."

"Nice to meet you, too, Your Graces." she said to the archbishops. She turned back to Mariah.

The Queen joked "Protestants call me the Queen of Rome as a joke, but I've never met a real Roman until now. I'm really a French-Jew or Gallic-Hebrew" and continued to talk on like women do. The Regent looked at Antonette "This is what happens when you partner brings her girlfriends over."

Kenshin finished laughing at the cake incident, "Don't worry, the last time I lost any hair was when I got the first cut of this scar," he said, pointing to the cross shape on his cheek. "I wouldn't dream of it."

Kathy giggled as Alexei did that and she took another piece of cake and did it right back.

When they did that, Kathy wiped off her face with a napkin and looked into her husband's face and smiled that special smile at him.

Alexei knew it was inevitable that Katherine would place a slice of cake firmly in his face, but frankly, he didn't care. Alexei returned her smile and kissed her after she wiped the cake on her face off, allowing her a taste of the cake again. He then rank his cheek along hers, removing the cake from his face, and placing it on Katherine's again. His arms were around her already, but, as it wasn't a super-romantic moment, and more of a playful one, he tickled her, getting a giggle and some of the cake on her face on his shirt, but it was worth it.

On the stage, Prince John was finished wiring the amps, etc, to the equipment he had up there. Arthur Zimmermann, the Chief Diplomat of Derscon, walked in at that time, and sat behind a fairly large drumset. General Drouet Jean-Baptise D'Erlon -- the youngest member of the General Staff, at twenty-seven -- also took to the stage, picking up an electric guitar. Commander Emiril walked up to the stage, now in military dress instead of his chef's outfit, and picked up a bass guitar. Prince John picked up another electric guitar, which was gold-plated. They finished their tuning, and Zimmermann spun his sticks around a bit after ajusting his set, and....

*CLICK!* *CLICK!* *CLICK!* *CLICK!*

Arthur -- at Twenty-Six years old -- after clicking his drumsticks together, immediately went into a fast drum solo, running up and down the toms and snares, ending with a buzz half-note roll and four eighth notes, and then Prince John and D'Erlon started. John, evidentally, was the vocalist.

"That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and
snakes, an aeroplane and Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

"What the heck?" Alexei cried. "When did this band get assembled?" He asked Field Marshal Sir Arthur Wellesley, Commander, First Corps, and D'Erlon's commanding officer. THe Brit smirked.

"A few months ago." Alexei listened in as John's band started going from first verse into the chorus.

"You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched.

Alexei looked at the Field Marshal with an annoyed -- but humorous -- glance. "You have any doubts about the fact that this song is about Katherine and I?" Field Marshal Wellesley chuckled.

"None at all, sir. None at all." They continued listening, and finally they hit the coda.

The chorus was repeated who knows how many times, but when they ended, it was to cheers, as it was a very fast and upbeat song. It was clear, though, they were going into another song.

Alexei's thoughts...fears?...were confirmed a few seconds later.

"Carry on my wayward son," Prince John started singing. "There'll be peace when you are done! Lay your weary head to rest! Don't you cry no more." During the very long guitar solo by John and D'Erlon -- they traded off -- Alexei began conversing with the Shogun.

"Kansas? Christ, when did my brother sink so low as to play other people's songs?"

Archbishop Jacob wrote down a note on his mobile "Do not let Prince John sing when opening Cathedral" while Archbishop John decided to waste more memory on this mobile on Prince John's performance. The Inquisition would find these videos rather amusing.

The Regent watched his wife and Gina talk on meanwhile pondering what his life would be like living with an Italian wife. It wouldn't be boring either.

President Server walked across the street with everyone else for the party. They bided their time as they walked in and then watched the customary cake eating.

President Server then walked up to them and bowed to both of them.

"Congratulations my friend. May you both have a long and happy life together."

THen the band started singing. President Server had to chuckle. Then he winked at Alexei and using the force, flung the microphone from Prince John's hand then threw a piece of cake that hit him squarely in the face.

THe Prince finished his song to the sound of a *splat!* from the cake hitting his face. "Mmm....chocolate." Alexei cracked up, and the Prince went over to retrieve his microphone.

"Thank you, John," Alexei responded to President Server. "We will be happy. Oh, and thank you for that caking of the other John. Why are there so many Johns?" He asked in an amused and fake-annoyed tone.

A few drinks and two songs later, power to the room went out, and it was pitch black. A few murmurs and confused/worried sounds were heard, but overall, there was nothing -- no light, no sound.

Five minutes later, the lights went back on, and the platform looked the way it did before Prince John's band played, and none of the band members were in sight, nor were there equipment.

A *tink tink* from someone hitting their glass could be heard, and the Minister of Culture and the Arts (as well as a famous classical music composer), Sir Charles Camille Saint-Saëns, was on the stage.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please. Thank you," he began.

"I have been good friends with a certain group of singers for quite awhile now, and I have asked them to come to preform tonight. They have agreed." While he was speaking, a small "orchestra" of people got on the stage, assembling what looked like a 1950's/-60's/'70's Jazz Orchestra.

"So, I am pleased to introduce to all of you, in Honor of Alexei and Katherine's marriage, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr!" The Orchestra started up "Ring a Ding Ding" as Frank, Dean, and Sammy walked in the doors to the ballroom, and Sir Charles walked off the stage.

Frank and Sammy Davis wandered off to the bar, while Dean Martin stayed on stage.

This reception is going well, Alexei thought, having a sip of some vodka. He smiled to himself. The part after the reception, specifically that resort island, also sounds pleasent.

In response, he said, "I don't know, but I quite like it." He quitely slid his checkbook back up his sleeve.

John added in,

The Queen switched her voice into classic Irish female one "St Patrick blesses you and the Pope too." albeit slightly flirtiously before resuming talking to Gina on the "I do admit to being serial attention seeker. It keeps you relevant to the people you rule. Some French tourists thought I was Miss Universe Jeruselem instead of the head of state once.".

The Regent smiled at Antonette "I think your date has much in common with my wife by the looks of it. Gorgeous but strong-willed intelligent women."

Katherine tilted her head towards President Server.

"I'm sure that we will have a happy life together." she said looking at her husband and smiling.

"Here's the short story. Princess Mariah visits the Foreign Office where I worked with her father before he died. I think she kind of fell over heels in love, and pursued me for a few years. I had broken up with my first Italian girlfriend and was still very unsure. However she was rather single minded and I kind of gave in after she tried everything, I mean everything. I guess she got what she wanted and I'm happy too. I realised I was being a dill as many men were courting her, so I married her. Strange thing, she acts more like a girlfriend than a wife, and hasn't changed much ever since. I think she would have married an Inquisitor Janus if I didn't act. Anyway, Mariah is nothing like her mother was after her time in Paris."

The Queen chipped in "I'm still a naughty Catholic schoolgirl at heart. My husband keeps me out of trouble, well most of the time."

John and Gina stopped talking for a monute and watched Alexei and Katherine dance.

The song finally ended, and a roar of applause came up. Alexei leaned down to kiss Katherine on the neck, and also whisper in her ear. "Well, honey, I didn't step on you, so it looks like I still have it in me." He came back up to full posture and winked, as Sinatra went on to sing "LOVE." (OOC: As in "L is for the way you look at me...etc, etc.)

The Queen stopped talking and watched the couple dance even though she had her mobile sitting the table filming the event all along. She had a mini-hard-drive in her mobile. She hadn't been ignoring the married couple with one eye on dance while talking.

O’Neill watched the couple dance as he tapped his foot against the floor to the beat of the song. He smiled as he thought to himself, Gee…now I’m gonna have this song stuck in my head all night.

When Sinatra finished his song and started another, Alexei looked around to see that no one was dancing. Alexei winked at Katherine and let go of her, allowing Alexei to sweep over to the crowd of people. The Czar drug King John and Gina out onto the dance floor. Katherine, catching her cue, pulled Queen Mariah and Count Richard in.

"There we go!" Alexei said, and rejoined Katherine to dance to "I Only Have Eyes For You," but at a very fast and upbeat tempo.

Kathy and Alexei danced to most every song that was played at their reception.

Half way through she whispered in his ear. "When shall we just leave this party and have some privacy?"

While dancing around, the Queen and the Count looked around. "We haven't done for this a while and for this long. I feel kind of old ..." he said to her as they floated around the dance floor avoiding collisions with the other two couples. She winked at him "You'll feel a lot older when they start the Latin".

He was generally good at the slow European ball dances but she was master Latin dancer as well which kept her very fit. He looked at Antonette and Gina, reminding him of old times but this crazy Gallic-Hebrew was one for him despite her oddities.

Archbishop John was holding the Queen's sword and felt it's dark power.

After being dragged out, John and Gina danced to almost every song.

Alexei smirked at Katherine. "That's a good idea." He looked over at Sinatra, who returned the Czar's look with a wink. Sammy Davis and Dean Martin came on stage and immediately started "The World's Largest (Permanent Floating Crap Game In New York)." To distract people from Alexei and Katherine, the three Rat Packers started doing stupid dances to go along with it. With that, Alexei and Katherine slipped up the stairs in the back of the Ball Room and through the large oak doors (guarded by two Honor Guards) into the Lounge, and then through a passage behind the what amounted to a wall-screen up to the Imperial Hall.

The Praetorian Guards were not actually present at the party, but were instead up in the Imperial Hall. They all nodded at their boss and opened the door into the Star Office for them. Katherine looked at Alexei funny.

"Why are we in your office?" Alexei just smiled and nodded to the four Jedi Praetorian in the back of the room, who nodded back and opened the secret door into the Private Chambers.

Once inside, the Jedi Praetorian closed the door and Alexei led Katherine to a large room in the shape of an octagon, and pointed down, and Katherine saw the ball room.

"It's a one way floor -- reinforced, of course. THe only thing getting through this glass is a tank. After all, look at all the heavy furniture! But, this isn't what I had in mind." He led her opposite the room into....

"Well, I suppose I should show you your new room, anyways," Alexei commented. It was the Imperial Chamber, AKA the Czar's Bedroom.

Alexei shut the door behind him and turned around, leaning Katherine against the door, and himself facing her. He kissed her for awhile and smiled, his hands on her waist.

"Is this private enough for you?"

Kathy looked around the room and then back at her husband.

"I say its private enough. My old bedroom in the Presidential palace wasn't half as nice as this." She said smiling.

"It is beautiful." She said as she kissed him.

The old Rekjyavich's were crazy about this stuff, but, that's not important." He ran his hand down her spine, getting a shiver and a giggle. He let his hand wander a bit more, coming up to her ribs, and he tickled her playfully and kissed her on the neck. Still "embracing her lips," he put his arms around her and fell back onto the bed, pulling her with her. Alexei let go of her, leaned back some, and smiled, just admiring her.

Czarina Andropov smiled at her husband in her new bedroom. As she was pulled to the bed they fell onto it embracing eachother and kissing. Kathy smiled smiled into her husband eyes.

O'Neill grew tired of watching everyone else dance and decided to mingle with the rest of the crowd that currently wasn’t. He looked around a little bit for someone interesting and decided to approach the Queen of Jeruselem and her husband.

“Howdy, folks,” he extended his hand out for a handshake. “I'm Chairman Jack O'Neill of the Northrop-Grumman Corporation.”

O'Neill grew tired of watching everyone else dance and decided to mingle with the rest of the crowd that currently wasn’t. He looked around a little bit for someone interesting and decided to approach the Queen of Jeruselem and her husband.

Count Richard shook his hand "Nice to meet you. I'm Count Richard I of Jeruselem, Regent of Jeruselem and the Foreign Minister too. As you know this is my wife, the head of state in Jeruselem.".

The Queen smiled and flicked her hair a little, a natural flirting habit "So are you enjoying your time here and did you bring your other half along? I noticed you weren't dancing, you need a partner?"

The two Archbisops said in unison "It's nice to meet you" as normal.

O’Neill smiled. “It’s great to get away from all the paperwork. You know how all that can get piled up onto your desk.”

He shook his head and replied, “No, no. There’s no other half. Besides, I don't dance too often, not much time, so I'm probably a little rusty.”

"Sure," O'Neill replied as he turned to her husband. "Is it alright with you?"

Richard smiled "Go ahead. I've had enough dancing for the next year already. Be warned, she's not the slow dancing type by default."

Queen Mariah got up out of her seat and said "Come on O'Neill. It's not everyday you get to dance with head of state, not to mention a hyperactive blonde one. You need to brush up your dancing skills for the real thing, getting your future partner."

Archbishop John commented "She's also gropable if you're inclined that way."

O’Neill replied to Queen Mariah, “Well, you do have a point. I could use a little brush-up. Besides, I’d be honored to dance with a lovely lady such as yourself.”

"I don’t think so," he responded very annoyed to Archbishop John.

She took his hand and lead towards to the dance floor "Then, let's go. Ignore John, he's a stirrer. Now, what sort of dancing are you familiar with - Latin American, European ball or maybe that fancy Dancing Championship stuff if you want?"

He followed her to the dance floor. “Oh, gosh…uhhh….well, I used the waltz and foxtrot in my younger years, but then as I got older, because of my bad knees, I did mostly your typical slow dancing. You know, where I would put my hands on your waist, and you would have your hands around my neck and kinda rock back and forth while turning around in a circle. Though, I did get both knees replaced not too long ago so I might be able to do those older ones.”

John Antonette and Gina stopped dancing. Gina wandered off somewhere and John walked up to Richard.

"Whats it like seeing your wife dance with other men. Does it piss you off?"

Alexei picked Katherine up, rolled over so he was facing up on the bed, and placed her on top of him, so they were facing each other. Alexei craned his neck up to kiss her, and placed his right hand on her waist and his left in the middle of her back. He looked over to the clock to see it was two thirty in the morning. He looked back at Katherine.

"Well, it's late, and we both still have one more ceremony to go through." He sighed, but he looked back into Katherine's eyes and smiled again, holding her tightly.

"Plus, I suppose you'll have to try out your new bed anyways, see how you like it, and all." He ran his left hand up her cheek with a gentle touch, went up and went through her hair, down to her neck, and jumped over to Katherine's neck, and ran his hand along it, getting another giggle out of her. It tickled her.

Down in the ballroom, the Rat Pack finished up their last song, packed up, and headed off. The atmosphere was drunkingly relaxed, and the bar was just about empty. All of the marshals, generals, and ministers left, and it was just a select few. The Prince came up to everyone.

"Hello! Well, it is two thirty, and we still have a coronation to attend tomorr--today," he corrected himself, smirking. "So, I suggest you sleep now as to lessen the impact of the hangover. So, Good....morning to all of you." With that, Prince John left, and the only Dersconis there were the guards and the bartender, who was closed.

John Antonette and Gina stopped dancing. Gina wandered off somewhere and John walked up to Richard.

"Whats it like seeing your wife dance with other men. Does it piss you off?"

Richard answered "She does it all the time, but she lets me take my secretary to Lunch. Did you know know she chose my secretary? A very attractive redhead. Actually she put in the judging panel of the Miss Universe Jeruselem for some reason as well. She's weird but we trust each other."

The Queen and her husband finally leave the ballroom.

Gina walked up to john and said,
"I have to go back to CR now. The guard will stay of course." She kissed him and then said,
"Ciao" John kissed her back and said,
"Good Bye. See you in CR." But he was wrong.

John scribbled down a note, and handed it to a guard to deliver. It read,

To: Prince John.
No sense in sleeping now. Why don't you meet me in the ballroom? -King John

Back in the Jeruselem delegate's room (Queen's).

The Queen was puzzled "That O'Neill. Such a gentle and good dancer. No partner still. I don't understand. He's got money and the personality. Rich people like him should be sought after."

Her husband said "He was a gentleman, maybe he's just fussy."

She nudged him "You can't complain, you've got me, or your secretary to look at all day".

He replied "You know, King John hassled me about that. Most wives try to keep their husbands away from temptation, but you're just different. You just test me all day long by putting your clones everywhere. I guess you do trust me."

She smiled "Well, how about helping me in the bath, before getting to sleep".

After O’Neill had finished the last dance, he bid goodnight to the couple, picked up his dress hat, and headed out of the ballroom into the night. As he walked, he could not help but look up at the stars and think about the night he just had. It reminded him of all the good times he had when he was married. He had thought about getting married once again, but to him it was very difficult to find the right one. Some women were just a pain while others were only in it for the money. Maybe, I’m just looking in all the wrong places, he thought to himself as he sighed. Finally, he reached the hotel and went inside to his room for a good night’s sleep.

The Ballroom

The Prince was in the shadows, dressed in his rare black outfit with his black cape. When the guard with the note left, he stopped leaning against the wall, but still in the shadows, unable to be seen.

"You called, John?" He shouted from the shadows. No one was there any more, except for two Honor Guards at the top of the balcony, and two Honor Guards at the main enterance. He stepped out of the shadowy corner, his cape fluttering out as he walked.

"Yes I did. Want to play some tricks on somebody? Go out and do some 'things'? Oh, and Im sorry for the way Gina reacted."

The Prince shrugged. "I'm not worried about Gina. Anyways, what tricks did you have in mind?" He asked with a smirk, a glass of vodka in his hand, and Bailey's Irish Creme in the other, handing it to King John.

Queen Mariah and her husband after having a bath settled in and played with their son. "He's still awake. I think we have another night owl here" Richard commented as he got ready to sleep. The Queen waved her hand in front of his eyes and Arthur fell asleep and said "These force powers always come in useful", then put him in his cot.

They turned off the lights and she snugelled upto Richard like cat. "Well, let's hope the cororation is as good as the wedding." he said and realised she was asleep already.

"Richard and Mariah have never had anything done to them by us before. We can get them. I say we have some guards pretend to arrest them. Bring them down to us. We pretend to execute them, but actually inject them with something to make them sleep for an hour. When they wake up, we can put them in some room that is up to 100 degrees, and pretend its hell." He though for a second,
"My uncle had a dream that something like that happened to him. His name was Father John Antonette, I was named after him."

Prince John looked at his watch and shruged. "Nothing right now. Find out what the Queen is deathly afraid of. You get the info, and I can probably supply whatever it might be. Something simple for now." He yawned. "Not very creative right now, sorry. Fairly tired. Well, I'm heading upstairs. I'll see you in the morning."

"Night. Oh, one more thing, where can I get a cup of coffee?"

He looked over his shoulder at Antonette. "In your room." He smirked and walked out into the Grand Hall up to his room.

He walked up to his room and decided Sleep would be better. He turned on his TV, changed it too Law and ORder; Special Victims Unit, and fell asleep mid-show.

She caught the fleeting image of man running around the corner, just in time not get fried. The lightning ball was reabsorbed into her ring. Her husband also woke up and said "What the hell was that?". She said "Someone who is lucky this corridor wasn't any longer or he would be embedded five inches into that wall" in a malicious tone.

He yawned "It was just a prank. Probably someone we know" but she was not one for pranksters "I hung the last one from the palace, remember?". She locked the door again and put a heavy chair in front of the door.

Antonette faintly heard the bugle, and he cracked the door opene to see Mariah with a lighting ball in her hand. He quickly shut the door, and smirked.

The Prince picked up his office phone and called Antonette's room.

"Hey, John. Well, they got pranked. Our purpose in life is fullfilled."

"Yeah, I heard it. Thank God you ran fast though. She was about to throw a lighting ball at you. I peeked out the door."

Prince John laughed. "Yeah, I felt it coming by. Oh well. Even if I would have been hit, it would have been well worth it. Well, I'm gonna let you get some more sleep. Probably won't call breakfast until about seven thirty. It depends on how Alexei and Katherine are doing....and what they are doing." One could almost hear the smirk on the Prince's face.

Count Richard was trying to get his wife out of "one of those tempers" so she could go to sleep. He said "It was a boyish prank. No one harmed. Grown up children" trying to calm her down. She said "You know I do not take kindly to practical jokes. It does not matter if the culprit is a child orchild at heart ..."

He made her lie down and started to massage her back. Her mood like a light switch changed again as it seemed to work as she purred. He continued this until she fell asleep. He tucked her in and went to sleep himself.

"Yeah. Lets see how long it is until you are an uncle." he said, grinning as well.

Czarina Kathy Andropov woke up to an insistant beeping and realized it was her watch alarm. She turned it off and looked to see what time it was. She saw that it was seven in the morning and shook her head. She rolled back over and stared at her now husband. She saw that he was in a vulnerable position and with a shove, pushed him right out of bed.

Giggling she peered over the side of the bed and smiled. "Good morning my love." She then got out of bed and sat on him and kissed him. She got back up and puts on her bathrobe and flips the tv on to FDNN. They were still talking about the wedding that took place last night and she smiled.
