The heat. That was the first thing Ming noticed when he alight from the Airbus that had carried them from Xiaguo. Sweltering heat, like Taiwan in the monsoon season. This was Brasilia, a city in their eyes remarkably similar to cities in SE Asia. Having a few million dollars in the Bank of Brazil, money was of no immediate problem. Still reeling from Lao's death/capture, Ming and Yao had not conversed on the journey here at all, but they knew what they needed to do. With most of their powerful allies back in China, and the two of them having a tenuous grasp on Portugese (although it was improving by the day), they decided to head to the heart of any foreign city - Chinatown.

On arrival, the first stop was a Chinese restaurant. At least here they could speak their language. The two of them ate a well earned meal, finally having a sense of rest after a chaotic three weeks.

"So what actually happened to Lao? Tell me everything."
Ming sighed as he takes his arm out of the cast. It was feeling much better already.
"From what I heard the guards say, it seemed like he had stolen small arms from the refugee camp armoury. It seemed like he put up a fight."
Ming swore.
"I think they shot him on the spot....Anyway, where's the office of that biotech firm you said could be 'bent'?"
"ChromoGen? We'll find it."

OOC: There were three, but one stayed in Beijing while the other two went to Moscow. After failing to kill Liu there, the two of them infiltrated Sino and one was killed/captured.

A full scale manhunt is underway for the murderers of the Economic Secretary. Wanted posters are distributed all over the world, plastered on every imaginable surface. KGB units prowl Xiaguo and Sino, searching for the killers. A ten million USD award has been offered for information leading to the capture of one of the killers, and massive manhunts are underway.

Having found Brasilia to lack 'opportunities' , the two outlaws headed to Rio a few days later. Brasilia was too clean and too close to the government. With gangs of unemployed men desparately seeking work of any sort and the Amazon being large enough to hide any sort of drug plots.

Contacts with the dodgy biotech company were continuing slowly, with negotiations to deliver a superior marujiana crop to the Columbian strain being hung up over payments.

Upon realizing that not a trace of the men could be found in Asia, KGB agents in South America dealing with the Mafia are informed to be on the look out for the Moscow Bombers...

With increasingly fluent command of Portugese under their belt and their millions in the bank, and a fast-growing pesticide resistance cocaine brred, it was time to build an empire - perhaps an empire to rival the mafia eventually?

Keeping their cost base minimal, local unemployed men were hired to do their bidding. They were paid $5 a day, a huge amount by Brazilian standards. What Ming and Yao intended to do with them, would take the city by surprise.
