Re: Team Sponsorship

Orcinus (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php?title=Orcinus), makers of the Finest Starblaydi Vodka, would like to provide full sponsorship for a Nedalian Premiership side.

This deal would include full kit and stadium sponsorship, and we would also be prepared to provide funds for the building of a (new) stadium itself, should the club need it.

Ms. Stallworth,

Your team certainly provided our boys with the finest match they have played. You are certainly just as worthy as the Lions to advance to the Finals. You are indeed a great footballing nation. Your request has been filed, and accepted. Once the league gets off the ground, we shall inform you immediately.

------------

Mr. Juan Cortez,

We look forward to facing your nation in the U21 World Cup 14 Finals. It will no doubt be a highly entertaining affair. We thank you for your interest in our league. We have taken note of Orcinus and their bid to sponsor a Premiership deal. Once we have worked out the details of the league, we will give you options to what team to pick, and work out the contract. Once again we thank you.

Nader Homsi,

A company named 'Voolas' have asked me to forward their offer to sponsor a Nedalian Premier League Club.

And as a question from me, I would like to ask if we here could show some highlights of Nedalian Football League matches on our top sports channel 'Sporta Stumpj!' ?

And if you are interested, we would need some sponsors for own football association in Stumperia, so far, no league has a name, just 'Division 1, 2, 3, 4', it would be nice to change the name to show that other countries find our leagues fascinating! Have a look if you wish. http://groups.msn.com/Stumperia/sfla.msnw We do have our odd rules, standings are not decided on goal differences, it's all down to that week's performance, all though this will change next season.

Mr. Bicep Stump,

We shall set up Voolas with a team to sponsor once the League is up, and you will be more than willing to set you up with a broadcast so you could show the upcoming Nedalian Premier League in your home nation. We will have a talk with the CEOs of some companies here, and help them fund a sponsorship campaign to put their name on, hopefully, the Division One. Here is to our continueally growing relationship.

Jeruselem Government News is willing to pay $US1 billion for the exclusive rights (for foreign companies) to broadcast your Nedalian Premier League games to other parts of the world as well as a share of advertising revenue going to the Nedalian Premier League. Games will also run on cable networks we are linked with.

Mr. CEO of Jeruselem Government News,

We can certainly work on an exclusive deal with your agency. We have put forth what we believe is a reasonable contract. It states:

- You shall receive international universal right to broadcast the Nedalian league, but we do ask that you work with other countries and attempt, in any way you can, to meet their demands for games.

- The contract states that it will run for 5 years, after which you will be given the rights to first offer.

- You shall pick 2 of the 5 games on Saturdays, and 2 of the 5 games on Sunday. We will gladly provide with the footage for all other matches so that you may put together a highlight show with ease.

The $1 billion you have offered is indeed a very generous amount, one which we personally believe might be too much, so we have broken it down into 5 seasons. Payment shall be wired at the end of each season, with the amount being $200 million. We hope this is satisfactory. We are awaiting your response, Mr. CEO.

We find the terms of the contract mutually acceptable to all our local parties and accept your proposed terms. We look forward to helping the development of NPL in the future as it was unfortunate Jeruselem and Nedalia could not meet in the final of U21C14.

Nader Homsi, Minister of Sports for Nedalia,

It is with great joy that I can say that I have been approached by several Government figures from Falastur to form and close the deal pertaining to the great Nedalian Premier League. It is my pleasure to inform you that His Most Benevolent Imperial Majesty, Emperor Matthew VI of Falastur, wishes to be involved in this project, and has expressed an interest in the purchase of Shoreland United, if such a transaction would be possible. Furthermore, in compliance with the offer made by President Bren (arranged in agreement with yourself, I was lead to believe), three leading Falasturian corporations have been approached to sponsor a team each. The following companies have expressed interests in the following teams:

- Imperial Universal, (the market leader in travel in Falastur), wishes to sponsor Carlesa FC.
- Imperial Constuction Ltd. (a leading construction company, currently expanding the Kafra airport and is currently expanding its premises and employee base in Nedalia) wishes to sponsor Momesta AC.
- Jelavra Finances, (a leading, multi-national financial planning and consultancy firm), wishes to sponsor Andestranne FC.

The companies have all agreed to accept all conditions of sponsoring for as long as their contracts last, and will do their best to help their teams in every way they can.

On a side note, the Falastur Broadcasting Corporation (FBC) has expressed an interest in working in combination with a Nedalian television company to broadcast your matches. However, we understand that they have been beaten to the mark by Jerusalem Government News, although they are perfectly willing to accept the secondary position, (i.e. showing highlights of matches weekly, and broadcasting selected matches once the programs featuring them on Jerusalem Gov.t News have ended). The FBC has expressly said that it would like to work in combination with a Nedalian company to ensure that Nedalia have broadcasting rights to their matches, as we feel it is important to encourage business growth and self-sufficiency in Nedalia. I leave this offer to you to contemplate, and eagerly await your reply.

If any of this in any way is incorrect or unworkable, please inform me and I will do everything in my power to correct it. We wish the Nedalian Premier League every success in the future, and will watch with especial interest the future of this league, and most importantly, those teams we have highlighted.

Yours Sincerely,

James Siant,
Director for Overseas Interests, Entertainment Division

I represent the sporting equipment and clothing manufacturer JMC. JMC have supplied the Krytenian national team with kits for over two decades, and also supply 18 of the 22 KLF sides. We wish to offer our services as official kit manufacturer to any interested parties.

In addition, we are interested in buying a stake in Dorpar AC, and are willing to accept any reasonable offer. We shall install our most high-profile player, Phillip Neasden, as a member of the squad as well, gratis.

We await your reply.

Adjusting his tie, Minister Nader Homsi called over the make up artist for one final, quick touch-up. On the other end of the room, the camera man signaled to the Minister that he was about to go on the air. Minister Homsi called away the make-up lady and sat up straight. The blinking light signalling he was on the air came on.

"Good evening and allow me to welcome you the very first Television frequency designed exclusively for interested and investing parties of the Nedalia Premier League. Tonight, I will try to answer all your questions as well as bring up a couple of important topics which, ofcourse, I will be asking your opinions on."

He took a sip of water before continuing.

"My first announcement is that we are currently in the final stages of negotiations with the Jeruselem Government News station giving them the rights to broadcast the live feed of the league internationally. The contract will last for 5 years, but there is one further condition we would like to apply before signing the final contract. We will feel that countries who have sponsored or bought a team in the Nedalia Premier League be allowed to broadcast that specific game of that specific team each week. This will not intrude on the Jeruselem broadcasting abilities, as they still will be able to broadcast any 4 games they want every week regardless of who owns the team. We hope, Mr. Sharon, that this will seem reasonable to you, as we do not want to alienate other parties who have invested heavily in the the league."

Minister Homsi paused for a moment, flipping over the piece of paper infront of him.

"Mr. Saint, I am sure you are aware of the incredible brotherly bond our two nations share, and with that I announce to you that we would be honored to have the FBC coordinate with NNTV to broadcast the league domestically. Infact, we have already set aside a piece of land about 45 minutes south of the Kafra metropolitan area in the town of Jamhuria (pop: 12,455) for the FBC to build a branch here in Nedalia so that it may join NNTV as the 2nd local Nedalian channel. We hope you take us up on that offer, which was presented to me by Mr. Bilal Shaheed, our Minister of Investment. As for Shoreland FC, which is situated in an upper class, coastal area of Kafra, we have deemed that an offer of $250 million would be reasonable in finalizing the purchase of the team. We hope that you think the same. Finally, concerning the 3 companies which have shown interest in sponsoring a team, we put forth a contract, each with a length of 5 years worth a total of $4 million each, towards each of the companies. We hope this is satisfactory."

Again, Minister Homsi put aside a paper of notes and began looking at another.

"Concerning Honsfield Athletic, situated in the southern city of Honsfield (pop: 250,000), we ask the Starblaydian officials if they are interested in sponsoring the team or owning it. If they are interested in sponsoring, a contract will be put forth under the same conditions and numbers as the one just talked about with the 3 Falasturian companies. If they are interested in buying it, then we will put forth a deal that will allow you to purchase the team for $200 million (lower than Shoreland because of the location away from Kafra). Concerning the interest towards 19 year old Innit Point and 17 year old Nene, we have both good news and bad news. Mr. Point has expressed his interest in participating the highly respected Starblaydian League. Since his contract is currently owned by Nedalia, we have put a price tag of $6,000,000 for this talented youngster. As for Nene, he has expresssed to us that he wants to remain and play in the Nedalia Premier League, and we cannot say we are disappointed. He did suggest to us, however, that he may want to move later in his career, once he has made a proper name for himself."

"Mr. Xousa, we are delighted to hear of your interest in purchasing Dorpar AC. Dorpar is a mountainous town, situated in the upper half of the 7,000 meter high Mt. Gold, and its population is approximated at 150,000. Unlike most of the country, its altitude and location gives it a much more European/American feel to it. Pine trees are plentiful, and snow is heavy in the winder. The city itself is approximately 4000 meters high. We offer the club to you for $160 million, and as for JMC, the Premier League officials have agreed for the first season, JMC will be provide Dorpar FC and the Aanjar team with kits, barring any stalls in negotiations ofcourse. As for bringing in Neasden to play in the Premier League, we shall consider ourselves both honored and blessed if that happens."

"Now that I have addressed all of your issues at hand, I will like to bring forward your attention other matters concerning the Premier League. We now have an official information site (Nedalia Premier League (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Nedalia_Premier_League) ). We give permission to all active members of the Premier League to add information as they please. We are looking to have an info site on everyone of our teams, that is the goal. I also want to talk about our new live feed, which will be just like this one. It will be a place to share thoughts, ideas, and talks about the League (OOC: to RP. Obviously, Rping wont have as much as an affect as World Cups, but interest shown through RPing will be perceived as effort to improve the team, which will improve results.)I Thank you for listening, and wish you all a good night."

Minister Homsi stood us as he went off the air, stretching his legs. He was excited about the international presence of the League.

OOC: RPing actually has a very minor effect in World Cups, but a massive effect in Under-21 World Cups. So no't as much as an effect as World Cups' means there's no point in RPing purely for results at all.

This will turn into a proper RP later, but basically we'll take the team after some back-room deliberation, and Inter will welcome Innit Point to their team for Liga Starblaydia Season 3.

Nader Homsi was excited. Very excited. He had just finalized the last piece of paper, and the Nedalia Premier League was ready to go. He hurried to his office and called in his secretary. She came in, sat in the chair across from the Minister, and asked him how she may of service.

"Mary, get the laptop and begin typing.", exclaimed the Minister.

"My dear friends,

Today marks the official beginning of the Nedalia Premier League. While the details, ofcourse, have not all completely been worked out, there is one more request. To the countries or companies that have bought teams in our League, I ask that you present to me your rosters. The teams have all been sent messages telling them that they may beginn signing players. Once the rosters have been finalized, play shall begin!"

Homsi dismissed Mary, telling her to send the letter immediately. He then got on his laptop and phone and began gathering information and making phone calls. He wanted to get this done as soon as possible, he could not contain himself any longer. Our very own League, he thought to himself. He could not wait.

OOC: The Nedalia Premier League Wiki site is where all the information will be held. There will be a thread created soon where the scores and the RPs will go, but the Wiki site is where all the history is. Im trying to make it as informative as possible. What I had in mind, for right now, is to create a Wiki site for each team, stating:

Overview/History
Kit Colors
Sponsors and the contract
Owners
Stadium Capacity
Current Team
Player and Team Records

Obviously, as the season progresses, I will build up on it. What I was hoping for was help from anyone of you in helping me achieve this. Falastur has already played around with the Wiki site, and I would like to thank the empire for their help. Little touches here and there from a few people and the site will be complete very quickly. I hope you all will join me, as I plan to make the Nedalian League a truly international one. As for the end of the season, I dont plan for any relegation, atleast not this season. Anyway, I am looking forward to this. Thanks for participating."

"What do you think about the suggestion, Sir?" The accountant asked.

"Two-hundred Mil?"

"In dollars, of course," the accountant chuckled to himself, "only just under a hundred-nineteen million Credits, as current exchange rates stand."

"All that, for a football team in a league that practically nobody's hear of?"

"Well, sir," the accountant offered, "people interested in Under-21 football and foreign leagues will soon know all about it. Wouldn't it be good to have a popular business in a foreign country with tangible assets? Players, Stadia and such?"

"You've always wanted to own a football team," the man asked his accountant "haven't you?"

"I must admit, sir" the accountant said, "that it has been one of my ambitions for a long time."

"Well, I'll end up being the team owner, of course, but you'll get yourself a seat on the Board of Directors, of course."

"Why, thankyou sir!" the accountant was ecstatic.

"Two hundred mil for the Sharks it is, then."

"Yes, sir, Mister Gomez, I'll get on it immediately! Orcinus will own Honsfield Athletic before the day is out"
