Religious Supremacy
Botrosox

Greetings noble Nations of the world,
His majesty, Ludwig Von Karoly, today abolished the office of Spiritual Advisor. Allthough the tiny state of Botrosox probably can't influence the world to follow suit, his Majesty would urge all allies in this quest to come together under the leadership (by default) of Botresox. Although, his Majesty is willing to make this a struggle of equals in the face of the Ultimate Evil, religion.
Allies, friends, right-minded states..come together, no matter what political pursuasion you may be of.
His majesty expects telegrams from the noblest and greatest of you all,
His envoy, Heinrich Von Uznicht, Temporary Speaker for the Department of Atheism.

I agree in certain points and have done the same, because religion is an obstacle, for it gives power to whoever handles it and also is a waste of funds, and as described by Freud in Totem and Taboo it's also a primitive way of organization which should be avoided.
People are free to beleive in what they want but organizations are in some cases banned and in some cases with VERY heavy taxes.
The Holy Empire of Thechya is horrified at this proclamation. Religion and Spirituality has always been one of our nation's top priorities, and we have benefitted greatly from it! Our nation is united under a single Faith, and it has brought greater peace in our nation, less crime, better understanding, and less problems in general! Religion is an important component of all societies, and in Thechya, religion will remain one of our greatest priorities.

I find your lack of faith shocking. Religion ties together a country in an unbreakable bond, where people are equal and hopes can live on for ages. You may have abondoned hope, My fine country surely will not.
Your lack of willingness to join Religion with other aspects of life, is surely your down fall.
Yours Sincerly.

Although the Holy Empire of Tannenmille does support Christianity (namely Protestant Christianity), I do not feel as though Botrosox's decision was out of line. As a Christian Nation, we feel as though there is no need for a Spiritual Advisor save for the Christian God.
