I already have one going in my region, plus a league within my own country, but could run another if there is enough interest. Message me on the game if interested and I will give you more information.

Feel free to check out my country newspaper for more information too.

Hey PF, nice to see you on the NS boards. We're currently awaiting Rugby Union World Cup 4 to start signups.

Awesome! Thanks for the info! Good to see you Liverpool!

The curren RPG rugby tourney I am running in the heartland is at: http://www.geocities.com/popularfreedomticker/2005-rugby-RIT.htm

Basically really simple rules. Each team provides 10 RPS choices for a game (rock, paper, scissors) along with a number (5 or 3)

If the winner of RPS:
-chooses 5, then they score 7 points (a try and conversion)
-choose 3, and their opponent chooses 5, then they score 5 points (a try)
-chooses 3, and their opponents chooses 3, then they score 3 points (a penalty or drop goal.

Obviously with 10 RPS the score can go back and forth making for some realistic scores.

The actual information for games is posted on the Heartland website under SPORTING EVENTS.

Though lots of information on games in the national popularfreedom paper at:

Um, we tend to use excel spreadsheets or java programs to come up with scorelines, rather than playground games.

When we say 'RPs win games' we mean 'Roleplays', not 'Rock Paper scissors' :D

Greetings,

So it is randomized so anyone can win but it is 100% computer generated?

The scorinator I 'developed' (i.e. made in five minutes) for the Rugby World Cup was in Excel, and it was heavilly biased towards RP bonus, so those that posted and showed interest in their team's performance were more likely to win.

However it was still hugely random, as the team with the highest RP bonus by a mile scored precisely zero points in the RWC2 Final.
