Super-power holds a diplomatic summit concerning the UN (Open RP)

OOC: This is NOT an attempt to change the in-game mechanics of the NSUN, I've simply decided to start a conference in which nations may RP concerning the UN.

In the capital of Super-power, President D'Alessi called together a conference on what should be done concerning the corrupt state of the UN.

"The UN is in a terrible state right now - destroying the sovereignty of its member nations, it is centralizing a disturbing amount of power within its institution. We of Super-power had rebelled from Superpower07 and refused to join the UN for these exact reasons."

"Our intelligence sources have reason to believe that the UN may prove as a threat to Super-power and any other so-called 'rogue' non-UN nations. However we are unwilling to take military force against them, citing that maintaining Super-power's isolationist foregin policy is best for the nation."

"I request any like-minded non-UN nations to join me in discussing a possible solution - be advised that we of Super-power would like this solution to NOT entail entering an international treaty, however. We fear that one treaty will lead to another and we will become what we feared so much."

Dewars Strand, Nedalia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, took special note to the reports of a special conference being called by Super-power inviting all non-UN nations. He knew little of the country, but he did know they had a formidable isolationist policy, much like Nedalia until just last year. He relaxed on the computer, and began typing:

"We cordially accept your invitation, and we will be sending a delegation team of 5 people, led by Lenny Tim, to your fine country. We look forward to attending this conference and learning about the UN and its flaws as we have not been exposed to them in anyway. Neither have they reached out to us nor have they offered us any support. We look at this as opportunity for our countries to sit and discuss ways we could become allies in the face of this UN threat. Thank you."

He looked over the email as his mind drifted. He didn't want to get into something he couldn't get out of. The Nedalian military was weak, having just agreed with Adejaani to ship over 12 AFD-9 Wasps, but that constituted of their ENTIRE non-human, mechanical army. He smiled, though, as he reminded himself how strong the Nedalian Intelligence Agency was. No, this was the right thing. He sent the email, and waited....
