Lord Saffron III, newly elected by the people of Hypocriscia, stepped up to the podium in front of the full audience consisting of many Hypocriscian politicians as well as diplomats and ambassadors from neighbors of the young nation.
“Today, a legacy begins. Hypocriscia can be said to be officially born today, under a newly elected government, the first of which this nation has seen. The future is bright and the possibilities endless for us as we step forward, one foot after the other, one step at a time. We will grow together, we will learn together and above all else, we will succeed together. We will never be perfect, perfection itself is a flawed concept but we will be as close to it as humanly possible. Issues will be addressed and, again, we will succeed together.”
Lord Saffron III stepped back from the podium. His address to the audience had ended and many were rising to socialize with the various politicians and ambassadors present. Lord Saffron III stepped down and moved towards his various Cabinet Ministers.
“Very nicely put, milord,” General Robert Samisen, Lord Saffron’s minister of military defense, stated firmly.
“Thank you General,” Saffron responded with a nod.
