IC:

Six months later…

Captain Darkholme had easily escaped his pursuers and had quietly made his way back to Tortuga DN it was the usual thing, some bounty hunter from a foreign space faring nation looking to take out the bounty on his head. But as usual the pirate was too smart for the bounty hunters, with help from his crew of course. His trusty crew, they would stick with him through thick and thin.

“Madrox take us into orbit,” he commanded.

“Aye, aye captain,” Madrox replied.

Slowly the planet grew larger on the view screen. Captain Darkholme found himself glad to be returning to the colony as he always felt safe there. Sure there were frequent bounty hunters looking for him there, but he could always rely on help from the locals. Passing the moon, he saw the ‘Elizabeth Dane’ partially hidden in its shadow. Captain Sparrow was no doubt already down on the planet causing trouble, something for which he was rather well known for.

Captain Sparrow was in fact down on the planet entertaining those who would listen to his stories in ‘The Kings Head’. Out of the small crew he had, only Tzigane was there in the tavern with him. From behind the bar, Esmerelda the rather fat landlady kept an eye on him, expecting trouble to occur at any time.

“And so the bounty hunters says ‘You pirates are all scum, I will kill every last one of you,’” Captain Sparrow told, using his hands to mimic said bounty hunters actions. “So I said, ‘Not on your life matey,’ and with one swift move I thrust my trusty sword into the bastards stomach and spilt his guts over the floor.” He used his arms to demonstrate how he thrust his sword into the bounty hunter before raising them again, “That my friends is how I killed the great bounty hunter Olaf,” And bowed to the gathered crowd.

“You are so full of shit Sparrow,” one patron told him.

Captain Sparrow smirked, he pulled out his sword and placed it under the mans chin. “Tell me, Jussi,” he began to say. “Tell me why I should not kill you right now.”

“I’ll give you a fucking good reason,” Esmerelda told him, waving a fat finger at him. “You make a mess and I’ll cut yer balls off with a blunt, rusty knife.”

The pirate withdrew his sword and gave her a smirk. “You’ve always had a wonderful way with words,” he told her before grabbing a tankard of ale and gulping it down.

A small rift outside of Tortuga DN appeared. One fighter, the IRI-71 (http://img19.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img19&image=interceptor7iw.png) aka the Imperial Rosatan Interceptor, 71. Why the 71? Because it was the 71st model to be approved. So I guess that works.

Armed with two basic laser cannons, and a missile launcher capable of holding ten, it was a fearsome sight. Hell it even had hyperdrive capability and was the most maneuverable ship of the Navy. Of course the downside was that its armor and shields were weak, but that doesn't matter does it? As long as the pilot was good he or she could dominate. But who was the pilot?

Lt. Han Ulter, leader of the 11th Interceptor Squadren. He was doing some recon of outlying systems but due to some crazy thing that I can't think of now, his computer seperated him from his Squadren and now he arrived in some strange planet.

"Bah." He mumbled. "Damn thing... lemme see if I can land there."

He maneuvered his ship down into the planet, ironically landing near the Tavern where the Captain was.

He jumped out of the fighter, looking reminescent of the old Rebel fighters, you know from the Rebellion? But not the Sith Rebellion. God Star Wars is so complicated, eh better then Star Trek. He removed his helmet and just looked stunning! No I don't have a description right now. He grabbed his field survival pistol, threw his helmet into cockpit, and entered the Tavern.

"Hey!" He shouted waving his pistol in the air. "Does anybody know where I can get a map back to Rosata Dexima?"

Bad move eh?

"Oh for fucks sake, put your gun away you drunk," Esmerelda yelled out him.

A few of the patrons laughed before a large figure lumbered up behind him.

"Well looky here a newbie," the man said. "Ain't seen you here before."

"Now, now Johnny," Captain Sparrow began to see. "Let the man ask about his map."

Johnny, the rather large man behind him let out a large belch before asking, "What's a Rose Dex?"
The Island of Rose

Han looked at Esmarelda. He rolled his eyes. He then looked at Johnny behind him. "Well let me get a seat first, I might as well."

He approached the bar, sitting himself next to Sparrow. He looked around, taking in some notes. He looked at the bartender. "One cup of water... hey I need to fly sober. The last thing I need is the MPs on my ass." He put his pistol in his holster and started to speak of his beloved Empire...!

He cleared his throat. "The New Sith Empire of Rosata Dexima. We consist of ten planets, with the home planet being Rose. Me and my squadran were on a recon mission mapping out nearby systems. But my computer apparently wanted to fuck with me because when I came out of the hyperdrive, I ended up here. Now my ship has to recharge itself for another run. Well that and the fact I don't know how to go back."

He sighed. "So since I know most of you are pirates or bounty hunters, don't lie, I know you must have a navigational map I can use. So, who wants to help?"

The patron ignored him and went back to what they were doing before. Captain Sparrow laughed and looked at him.

"Sith eh?" he smirked. "Wouldn't go round saying that, the prince doesn't like Sith, eats them for breakfast."

Esmerelda placed a cup of water in front of Han and eyed him suspiciously.

"Well can't say I can help you," the pirate said, placing his ands behind his head.

Han took a sip of water and looked at Sparrow. "I never said I was Sith. I'm just a damn pilot. Besides the new philosiphy apparently combines both "Dark" and "Light" side stuff. I don't get into that shit. I just wanna fly."

He looked at the Pirate. "Are you saying that I'm stuck here until my fleet finds me? Oy! I'll be demoted back to Private! Oh man..." He looked at Esmarelda. "Get me a keg of your strongest drink, put it on my tab..."

He started knocking his head against the bar.

"Someone in this city probably has what you're looking for," Tzigane said over her drink. "Of course, they might as soon kill you as help you, in fact, the former's probably a lot more likely." With that, she finished her vodka and pushed the empty glass towards Esmerelda. "Another of the usual, please." It would be Tzigane's fifth. Her alcohol tolerance had become famous in 'The King's Head.' The tavern's name was somewhat of a misnomer, unless the royal head it spoke of had long been separated from its body, as this planet had no rule of law as far as Tzigane knew.

"Oi no banging your head on the bar," Esmerelda warned, waving a fat finger at him. "It disturbs my patrons."

She then dumped a large tankard in front of him, spilling some of it. She did the same for Tzigane.

"Sounds like you need a change," Captain Sparrow smirked.
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 00:26
Han sighed. "Bah. Can I get a twisty straw for this?" He looked over at Tzigane and asked. "Oh that's nice. So I'm surrounded by a bunch of Sith hating bastards, whoo...! You think I can at least buy a blaster carbine off someone? This damn thing's weaker then a poke of the stick."

He drew out his pistol and laid it on the bar. "Bah, damn Quartermasters. Well at least I can get what I need, I'll just have to keep myself shut. For now, might as well drown my worries." He looked at Sparrow. "And what do you mean I need a change?"

28-03-2005, 00:35
"No straws," Esmerelda said and wandered off to deal with another patron.

"I mean bugger whatever piece of shit life you been leading and become a pirate," Captain Sparrow told him. He took a sip of his ale and looked up to see see a familiar shape stood beside the dood. "Oh look it's Darkholme."

A grin crossed the dark haired pirates face. "Still alive then Sparrow I see," he said.

Captain Sparrow held his hands outstretched. "Of course, after all I am Captain Jack Sparrow, I am invincibled."

Captain Darkholme laughed. "And an escaped mental patient."

Tzigane chimed in, saying to Han "Really, if you're a decent pilot, you might as well."

At Darkholme's mental hospital comment, Tzigane said "Aren't we all?"

Captain Darkholme looked towards Tzigane, "And here I was expecting to find you not with Sparrow," he replied. "I'm surprised to see that you still are."
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 00:42
Han looked at Sparrow. Wonderful, I'm next to a crazy and surrounded by anti-law people. Oy.

"Well..." He answered. "That'd be hard. For one thing doing pirating in the System I live in is suicidal. There's a station everywhere and cruisers are constantly patrolling. Plus the fighters are too fast, plain suicidal."

He shrugged. "Also, how can I be a pirate if not even the Rosatans have a full map? Bah."

28-03-2005, 00:45
"Who says you have to be a pirate within your own country? " Tzigane said with a grin, exposing her long fangs. "Never work where you live in this business."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-03-2005, 00:45
"Plenty of other places to pirate," Captain Sparrow replied. "Most pirates around here look to attack any ships working for Azazel."

Both Esmerelda and Captain Darkholme spat at the mere mention of Lord Azazel's name.
Callisdrun
28-03-2005, 00:48
"Exactly," Tzigane said. "If you're worried about being picked up by Rosatan cruisers, then don't do business in Rosatan space or against Rosatan shipping. It's not like you have to attack every single ship that comes your way. There are enough to pick and choose."
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 00:51
Han shrugged. "Eh. You have a point there." He looked as the two spat as they said Azazel's name. "Lemme guess. He's in charge of this planet right?"
Callisdrun
28-03-2005, 05:44
"Perhaps officially," Tzigane said. "But in that case, he has basically no control whatsoever of what goes on here, else it probably wouldn't be full of pirates." She gave Han a razor-blade grin.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-03-2005, 16:09
Captain Darkholme laughed. "Nope, Azazel doesn't realise the colonies exist," he told them. "Prince Kurt rules the colonies, Azazel is unfortunately ruler of Draconis Nightcrawlis itself."
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 23:18
Han looked at Darkholme. "This Azazel guy sounds like an asshole." He chuckled.

He sighed looking at his crappy little pistol. "You guys selling any carbines I can use? Or at least a heavy pistol?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-03-2005, 23:21
"Oh he is," Captain Darkholme said. "Big dumb red elf."

"Not in these parts," Esmerelda said, wiping the bartop. "Round here, peeps prefer swords."
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 23:29
Han got an inspiration. "Oh yeah! I forgot they taught us how to use swords a bit! Hell I should have a short sword in my ship."

He ran out, leaving his keg and field pistol on the bar. He opened his cockpit and popped back the seat, and there it was. A lightsaber proof steal short sword, perfect for any newbie. He got it, twirled it once, and ran back to the bar.

"Fear me!!!!!!!" He shouted. Then he looked at Darkholme. "Or not...."

He sat down, putting his sword in a makeshift sword placement thing.

"I prefer an axe myself," Tzigane said matter-of-fact-ly, patting dark grey implement of hand to hand destruction that hung at her belt.

28-03-2005, 23:37
Captain Darkholme rolled his eyes and walked off muttering along the lines of "Ideal for Sparrows crew."

A few patrons laughed at him.

"I wouldn't go round acting like that," Esmerelda warned. "The guards wouldn't have it."
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 23:40
Han mumbled. "Bah." He said. "Anyway, so why are you guys all here? What's the history of this place?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
28-03-2005, 23:44
"My man, I think that is quite obvious," Captain Sparrow grinned.

"It's a colony," Esmerelda yawned. "We're here because it exists, if it didn't we'd all be somewhere else."
The Island of Rose
28-03-2005, 23:53
Han rolled his eyes. "I should've known. I've never seen any of your type around Rosata, is it because we're too defended."

He chuckled. "Or is it because you don't know where we are?" He smirked.
Callisdrun
28-03-2005, 23:55
"It's a colony. And the closest thing to what you could call home to many folks involved in shady business." Tzigane had drained yet another vodka.

"M66 galaxy," Captain Sparrow replied. "That help?"
The Island of Rose
29-03-2005, 00:09
Han raised his brow. "So you do have a map to Rosata! Gimme!" He shouted.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:13
"No I don't have a map to Rosata," Captain Sparrow replied, downing the last of his ale. "I just have a map to the planet of the Norns."
The Island of Rose
29-03-2005, 00:15
Han looked at Sparrow. "Excuse me?"
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:19
Captain Sparrow raised his eyebrow. "The planet of the Norns," he repeated himself. "You do know who the Norns are right? Come on everyone does."

Esmerelda shook her head and turned her back on them as she served a drink to another patron.

"Another one please," Tzigane said to Esmerelda as Sparrow started talking about the Norns.

29-03-2005, 00:24
Esmerelda nodded and poured another vodka. "You'd be fucking mad to go there," she mentioned.
The Island of Rose
29-03-2005, 00:26
Han rolled his eyes. "I'm part of an isolated Empire, you tell me."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:30
Captain Sparrow laughed and waved his hand at Esmerelda to bring him another drink. "Well, the Norns," he began to say as the landlady dumped a fresh tankard of ale in front of him. "They're the three goddesses of fate, legend is that Prince Kurt has been to their planet already."
Callisdrun
29-03-2005, 00:31
"You're not suggesting we go there, are you?" Tzigane said suspiciously.

Captain Sparrow turned his head and grinned at her, "Aye," he said.
Callisdrun
29-03-2005, 00:36
"Oh fuck." From what she had heard, Tzigane definitely did not want to go to the planet of the Norns. "I'll be needing another vodka than. Is there any profit in it?"
The Island of Rose
29-03-2005, 00:37
Han chuckled. "Hell, I'll join you two. I'm sure you people need some protection from pesky small fighters. Besides, I'm sure they'll help me... somehow. That or I'll find my way accidently."

He looked at Sparrow. "Well? Don't worry my ship has hyperdrive."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:44
Esmerelda placed a full bottle of vodka in front Tzigane, "On the house," she told her.

"Well my ship has a hyperdrive too," Captain Sparrow smirked.
The Island of Rose
29-03-2005, 00:48
Han patted Sparrow on the back. "Then it's settled. By the way, what kind of ship do you two drive? I drive a small single seat interceptor, but you should know this."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:51
"I have a slightly modified Ha'tek mothership," Captain Sparrow smirked. "Your pissant little spacebug can't fit into one of it's docking bays."
Callisdrun
29-03-2005, 00:53
"Thanks," Tzigane said. She couldn't believe Sparrow actually wanted to go to the planet of the Norns, but perhaps there was something to be gained by it. She asked as much.
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:56
"Ah the black rose, it shall be mine," he grinned and chugged down his ale.
The Island of Rose
29-03-2005, 00:58
Han scoffed. "Hell, then I'll just dock the cockpit. I don't need the entire ship inside."

A slight pause. "Unless you meant that my ship can't fill a docking bay, then even better."
Draconis Nightcrawlis
29-03-2005, 00:59
"It'll fit the whole thing in there," Captain Sparrow said.

From across the tavern next to the roaring fireplace, Captain Darkholme kept an eye on his 'rival'. It is strange to me that he is still alive, he thought to himself.
