Greetings to all fellow world leaders.
I am Roshan, current head of the Dark Brotherhood.
The Dark Brotherhood is a nation that is good at fixing any possible problems. The interesting thing about these problems is that they can be anything, from an un-wanted person or persons, right through to gatherings to support the opposition in politics. Though we do not take any credit for the death or subsequent destruction of these problems, we do notice that they do not remain problems for much longer after we fix them.

Though our fixing services may come at a high cost, rest assured they are well worth the price. Our populace are trained a birth in our order, and the skills required to be apart of it, these skills include several forms of self defence, excellent marksmanship, use of close combat weapons, and a sound knowledge of nature, noteably those parts of it which cause death within minutes of consumption. But of course i cannot reveal everything about us, so rest assured should you try to double cross us, we have many ways of dealing with you.

Some disagree with our methods and principles. Oddly enough, these people do not last long at all, strangley they all seem to die, a most unfortunate situation as we support free speech. Obiously these are totally unrelated incidents.

ooc: this is my first post, i hope i did ok. If you have any comments or ways you think i could improve please feel free to tell me. replies are welcome so feel free to post :) . Well, i hope to be seeing you, and hopefuly my nation will get some work fixing things ;) .

OOC: Isn't the Dark Brotherhood from Morrowind, too?

ooc: yep, my favorite morrowind guild. hehe even if the bloody masks do look crud. goggles? what where they thinking? glass armour for me. sorry gotta bit side tracked there. anyway, i always thought bein part of the dark brotherhood would be cool, so here i am.

That is one way to look at it, and some people call us assassains, as misguided as they may or may not be. Though officially The Dark Brotherhood rejects these claims as nothing but mis-guided rumour mongering by trouble causing nations. But un-officially we do offer our specific services to the highest bidder. You see there are alot of things that is wrong with society, and certain people will pay well to have them fixed. Who are we to refuse?

OOC: My nation is un-willing to openly admit about it's activity, to protect it from certain unwanted complications. but to all extents and purposes they are assassains.

OOC: It is dangerous to make public such things around...It is better to keep it hidden, countries like mine could try to smite you for that. You are beginning and that is a good attempt of your first post, but try to make it as a character rp with some guys contacting possible clients with stealth and secrecy...Or leaving messages in the street, but always be careful :)

A conversation between two persons, in a computer complex.

"A small group."

"Worth interest?"

"Perhaps. There may be some among them worthy of our guild."

"An outsider as an Imperial Inquisitor?!"

"Why not? Just because the rest of the Empire is borderline xenophobic does not mean that we must be. We are, after all, in the bussiness of information gathering."

Dark Brotherhood, we are interested in observing your operations for a short while, to see if you are worthy of further interest and perhaps bussiness. For the time being, we are going to be monitoring your progress. How is not your concern. Simply know that we have been observing underground organizations for many decades and are quite skilled at it. You will be recieving contact information if you prove of proper interest.

OOC: Just a really fancy tag. I'm gonna be watching what you do for a while, to see what promise you have. You got a good start, just stay away from the limelight and don't piss off a goody goody nation. ;) Could be a good RP in teh future.

A shadowed figure sitting behind a desk pulls out a note that was delivered to him by a yet un-identified source.
“Hmmm, monitoring our underground operations, see if we are worthy”
The figures lips quirk up into a half smile.
“This could prove to be interesting”
A second figure steps out of the shadows, he appears to wearing a hooded cloak, which has some strange religious symbols written on it, which seem to glow faintly in the dark.

“Interesting, yes, but it could also be potentially dangerous, if these ‘Crimmondians’ have managed to infiltrate our underground, then perhaps we may have cause for concern. Should I write a writ for the honorable execution of these Crimmondians leader?”

“No, I do not believe it would be prudent to attempt it, yet, from what intelligence I have gathered about them, they appear to be a quite, powerful country in more ways than one. For now, we will simply have to wait and see.”

“As you wish, though might I suggest a tightening of security?”

“I believe that would be wise, yes. See to it.”

The cloaked figure departs, seemingly disappearing into thing air. The figure behind the desk pulls out a large ornate looking quill, dips it in an ink well and ponders what to write.

I found your letter, most interesting and i hope we can continue talks at a later date. I do hope we live up to your high expectations, but somehow, I believe we will. Though delve too deep into our orginisations and you will find things far more interesting than you had planned for. May we conduct buissness soon.

The figure behind the desk rolled up the paper, and strapped it to the leg of a magnificent looking eagle. He leaned close an gave it a short string of commands.
Cocking it's head to one side the eagle jumped off the perch and flew out the window, swiftly winging it's way towards it's destination.

The figure looked pleased for a moment, then, slowly he strode off.
He had always liked eagles, they were silent killers, rarely seen until it was too late. Just like him.

OOC: i reckon i'm starting to get the hang of this, and thanks for the advice. hopefully i can stay away from the smitings. well, hope to be seeing you around sometime soon.

The two Crim read the message and chuckled. "They send us veiled threats. This is a good sign."

The Inquisition, much like the Black Staff that fell recently, were experts at the art of moling organizations and governments. Many of the agents were Black Staff, but they had no one to report to, so the Inquisition stepped forward to take their place. They only had spars knowledge on the Dark Brotherhood, so they merely influenced events around their identified operatives, seeing how they adapted to changing stimulai. A car wreck here, a dead elevator there... just to see how good they were.

Two cloaked figures holding a twilight meeting by the docksides.

“We have had numerous reports of, oddities, and strangers are becoming more, common. Now, either our anti immigration policy is failing, or we might have some more trouble from your, pen friends .”

“They are good, I will give them that, but I sincerely doubt they will be able to evade all of us. Now, so far it appears that they are merely testing us, they will not be found wanting.”

The figure looks thoughtful for a moment then appears to come to a decision.

“Close down the boarder. I want no one going in our out.”

“I’ll increase the security around the border as well,” the second figure says

“Very well, then we will do a search through the population. Anyone without the markings of our order, well, they will be questioned and if they do not talk, then we will end their lives, according to our ancient rituals .”

The figure smirks at this for a moment.

“But sir! Those rituals have been outlawed for generations!it, it just isn't right. I have no problem with killing, but that, that’s something else.”

“I believe it is time to bring the old religion back, in force. The population at large will convert. Or they will die. All of our nation will become one with the brotherhood.
I want the religious education to begin immediately.”

The second figure looks like he wants to object, but thinks better of it

“As you wish sir, it shall be done.”

As one, both men disappear into the crisp night air.

OOC: I decided to start putting a bit of a darker subplot in there; I’ll see how it works out. But I envisage the whole population becoming one with the cult, a nation of assassins. Hehehe, we’ll see how it works out. As always comments and tips are always welcome, hope to be seein ya round.
