Antonette saw the two Christac delegates shot. He drew his rapier, and prayed,

ooc- by activating your military, it turned into war. How could they escape 20 guards?

So for now, I'm going to write an alternative accept it or im off;
Hazel who was hiding in a closet downstairs sneaks up and holds a gun against the Kings head, the soldiers drop their weapons and they all escape back to Christac with the convoy. That is how they could have survived

OOC: Christac, I CAN kill off your characters in a war RP. When you mobilized your military, you turned the RP from character into war. YOU changed the rules, not us.
From what I can see, you are a coward and are running away from battle.

ooc - No, i just like my charicters. let me get them out, but don't worry, holding us against our will, will still end in war. And I never powered up my military, it was a rescue misision. If that counts, then so does you sending in the guards earlier
Cherry Ridge
25-03-2005, 04:50
Sending in my guards IN MY OWN NATION! Derscon is my ally, we are in the SAME EMPIRE, GREATER PRUSSIA!
Christac
25-03-2005, 04:52
OOC - Ok even if I take that into acount. You holding the leader of my nation against his will, and him calling it an act of war, has to be considered an act of war.
ooc - No, i just like my charicters. let me get them out, but don't worry, holding us against our will, will still end in war. And I never powered up my military, it was a rescue misision. If that counts, then so does you sending in the guards earlier
*sigh*
The Burgundian Guards were there for security. They are the regional defence force -- the GUARD. That was not an act of war, that was an act of protection. They were there for protection, and did nothing as a whole to affect the expected overall outcome of the RP. Sending your troops into a foreign land, and opening fire on civilian and/or military targets is an act of war. This, also, would have affected the overall expected outcome of the RP, as it was an act of WAR, hence changing the rules.
But regardless of who changed the rules or not, by the time I ordered the deaths of your CinC and guard, the rules already changed, and your characters were no longer protected. I violated nothing.
Technically, you can ignore a nation for any reason, good or bad. If you ignore us, though, your reputation will be that of a n00b, a chicken, and a crybaby. Sorry if I offended you, but I'm just stating the facts.
Cherry Ridge

Exactly what Derscon said. If you ignore us, you will be considered a noob. Greater Prussia is respected, and powerful. Again, you were going fine, until the end.

OOC - Ok, i said earlier that 200 jesi are on the scene, they were sent by April back in Christac. So I will start this thread with...
IC - 200 Jesi was more than enough to keep any other aircraft at bay, while the battle was raging on, the 20 APA dropped the bombs attached straight on to the buildings bellow, blasting it away.
The 20 APA then landed, releasing one hundred and fifty clerics, who shot everything that moved. No one that was in the building could survive.
IC - And all your charicters are in that building if i recall
Christac
25-03-2005, 12:21
OOC - I don't want to ignore any of you, and I dont mind being in a war RP, I just don't want you to kill the leader of my country and the main charicters of all my RPs before we start

OOC
(Yes, I'm a GP member and BIASED)
I support Derscon and Cherry Ridge's stance.
(a) Placing your own military forces into another nation is marginal at best and most usually have some special agreement before going so. Unauthorised operations are an act of war.
(b) It is very bad for leaders to tell their protective force to open fire on the host forces placed to defend them in the first place.
(c) Your characters have been rather "disuptive" and CR/D have been rather tolerant.
Christac

OOC - Saerat was stabbed first and clearly agreed to remove the forces out of the place if they let my people leave freely. I am happy to continue on the story, but I don't want my leader and my main charicters to be killed off by someone else. And I was happy to have a debate, i just wrote in a copter missing cos nothing much was going on, and then the whole thing got blown out of proportion
OOC: As I said in my previous post, regardless of who changed the rules, I killed your president after the rule change, and it is fully legal. I don't like having my troops killed, so should I ignore anyone that kills them? No.
And when a military helocoptor goes missing in a paranoid monarchy, things happen fairly quickly.
While I did not like the fact you were being held against your will, you were not being cooperative. If you were, nothing would have happened. You were locked in your room because you were being militant about it. You were kept in the monestary for your own protection.
Cherry Ridge
25-03-2005, 15:48
How did you get past my defences AND Derscons. Also, The monastary walls are EXTREMLY thick. That is Godmod. You already ruined by RP, and I was lenaint. 200 JESI! I fired on them. Over a foriegn land? You didn't even take into account my defences. You don't border me. Your leaders were killed for declaring war. YOU DONT ORDER MILITARY FORCES TO ATTACK WHEN YOU ARE IN THAT LAND! That rescue convoy, how did it get here? Burgundy and greater PRussia are surrounded by OCEAN! Noob, we know the rules better than you.

OOC - You ruined your own thread, I just wrote in about a helecopter going missing and calling in more chopers to search for it, you refused them and held my guys there against there will, I continued the plot. I was actually happy to just mention it and get on with the theological descusion usuing it as a sub plot.
You are also godmodding though;
Definition of Godmoding
1) Saying what happens to other people's stuff. (I count my charicters as stuff)
4) Having your nation’s geography to your extreme advantage. (Like not being near eachother, Show me a map of the Nationstates world as proof that we are not near eachother)
4) Example: “My territory is completely surrounded by mountains, and I have every possible missile defense system that works 100%, so all of your planes will be shoot down, and all of your troops will die trying to get over the mountains!!” (Much like all my helecopters being shot down, and the monestry walls being so think a missile cant effect them.)
As I said, I am happy to go to war, I just want my charicters to survive. The chopers were sent before the leaders were killed by a confused head of military back home, Saerat did not order an attack, it was a convoy which you said would have to wait at the gates earlier but were attacked on their way there by your own chopers. Saerat offered to end it several times, but when he was about to, you killed him and everyone else.
But what happend doesnt matter, I'm asking that you let my charicters survive, it wont effect this story much, but it will mean that this will start being a war thread and not an argument thread.

OOC:You were locked in your room because you were being militant about it. You were kept in the monestary for your own protection.
OOC - For my own protection? My charicters asked to leave several times and had swords at there throats whenever they were asked anything, the only reason a fight started was because my main got stabbed in the arm. And about being militant, I asked for a compramise which would mean you could say yes, all would go back to normal. But it was refused.

If you want, your region can m ake up a map. You are NOT on the Prussian continent, only the regions of Greater Prussia, Prussia, and the Kingdom of Burgundy are. I will get the map of Burgundy later.
I didn't say what happened to your characters. Derscon said it would be impossible to survive, which it would be.
It is godmod to destroy the whole monastary, and you would have been shot down. The convoy can't drive across the ocean.

OOC: Well well well... isn't this a lovely little situation. Christac, they have their own continent, as they said, so you can't say you're close to them.
Here's an idea: why not go back to the start of the problem and figure out better terms for a war RP. I'd be happy to join in, seeing as my delegates are at the conference. But I'll have no part in worthless ooc bickering.
And seeing as I have ships in orbit, I could just take care of things very quickly......
Also, CR, take it easy throwing around the "n00b" word. Don't go flamebaiting.

OOC - I am more than happy to have a war RP, in fact I would enjoy one, but I don't want it to start with my main characters dead. I am just asking that they escape somehow, so heck, I’m going to godmode like hell to get out of this.
IC-
The mini gun fire of the APCs in the court yard was randomly taking out everything in sight.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The guards in Saerat and Hannah's room were about to fire their load into the skulls of the cowering delegates when Hannah grabbed Saerat and threw him to the floor, as she did this, bullets fired through the window behind them, taking out several of the guards at the door. During the confusion afterwards, Saerat and Hannah jumped out of the gap which was the window moments before.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hazel had had enough of hiding in the gap in the wall, she plucked up courage and burst out, there was no one around; they were obviously busy with other things. She ran to the main door and stopped. It was a war zone out there, but the inner gate needed to be opened.
She ran to the gate as fast as she could, she was a meter away from it when a bullet flew into her leg, scorched flesh tearing out the other side.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saerat and Hannah hit the ground running, they had to get out of there and fast, bullets were flying everywhere. Hannah was in front of Saerat and got to the gate first, she saw Hazel bleeding on the ground and ignored her. Hannah's priority was Saerat and she was not going to let the Head of State die to let the Head of Religion live.
She saw a small building next to the gate and headed to it, this would have to be the way to open it. As she opened the door a monk jumped out and thrust a sword into her side. She coughed blood on the ground next to her before pulling out a throwing knife and firing it into the mans neck.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saerat had seen this happen and ran up to Hannah who was now struggling to stand up. She turned to him "Open the damn gate sir!"
Saerat didn't have to be told twice, he ran into the building and found a lever. Pulling it as hard as he could, the gate sprang open outside. He limped out to find Hannah and Hazel using each other for balance and heading out of the new gap.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Clerics outside saw the gate open and the delegates walking. They leaped into action. Three Hummers drove up next to the group and pulled them inside. The vehicles drove as fast as they could to get out of the compound; they were being shot from all sides, even after they left. There were road blocks and tanks following them, picking them off one by one.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Jesi were approaching their target, they had suffered terrible losses, and there were less than ninety left of the two hundred sent from Christac. The moment they had entered the country, they had been under attack. As they got close they heard radio messages from the convoy bellow.
"We are loosing men! Help us!"
"This is Jessi formations 12 - 43, what is your situation convoy?"
"We have the delegates, but we are under heavy fire! " An explosion could be heard over the radio "We just lost another APC!"
"Convoy, there is an empty field another half mile on your right, get there and we can evac"
"We'll try" another explosion went off "There goes another Hummer!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The convoy pulled into the field, though it was not much of a convoy anymore, there were only three hummers and an APC left as they stopped to get out.
Two APA's landed, as the remaining Jesi created a "Circle of Fire" (OOC - The copters all spin round in one massive circle, making it nearly impossible to fire at one specifically and allowing a total wipe out of enemies who might get near), firing at anything hostile that approached the area.
Saerat walked to the choppers, as four Clerics carried Hazel and Hannah, they all climbed on bored the first one and it took flight, joining the "Circle of Fire" itself; there would be no way of telling it from the other vessels.
The second APA was filled with the eight remaining Clerics, it also took flight. When it reached the right altitude, the "Circle of Fire" was stopped and all the copters made for Christac, but the trouble was not going to stop when they got back home.
OOC - I think that’s fair, its godmoding, but not taken to the extreme.
OOC: Crossman, I ignore intergenre war RPs.
But, I have a better idea.
1) Christac, your massive amount of guards and armoured vehicles and helocoptors were never there. They wouldn't have been allowed in the first place, and there's no way to get them to GP or Burgundy. (same continent) Technically, you are only allowed two guards anyways, so you violated the In Character rule.
2) The Burgundian Guards were never deployed, nor were the Czar's Praesillei Dei.
3) As there were none of your helocoptors, there was no missing helocoptors.
4) As we backed up so much, no one was killed, threatened, or held against their will. All of this controversy, IC and OOC, never happened.
Personally, I think that's a fair deal, and everyone can go home happy. While I wouldn't care if this turned into a war RP, I'd rather not enter a war right now (not in the mood), even though I'm fully capable of conducting one.

Better idea -- delete those that deal with fighting and mobilization, and just edit those that have a side announcement of a lot of guards. I'll do the same, and I'm sure Cherry Ridge will follow along.
BTW, ICly, I was against your imprisonment, so if it happens again, I'l be sure that the Prince helps you out.

OOC: Nah, they'll have to delete their's, too. For now, I'm just ignoring them and going on with the character RP.
Don't let Hannah get out of line, though. The Prince doesn't exactly like her at this point for her militant attitude. That's an OOC warning for an inevitable IC response.
