Name: Adan Ring
Position: Supreme Republican Commander, Retaliatory Guard
Age:30

Background: Adan Ring was installed in February as a replacement for the retiring Supreme Republican Commander Istvan Vaikov.

Commander Ring is the single most experienced General in the Retaliatory Guard. He has completed Velite Guard training (1 year), Retaliatory Guard training (3 years) Red Jaguar training (1 year) and has a degree in Architectural Engineering from King's Park College, Coventry from his supplemental training for Purifier duty.

Commander Ring has planned and commanded,or help command the following campaigns:Communist Insurgency- commanded the 5th unit of the 2nd Purifiers Division under Colonel William 'The Patient' Issem; peace keeping mission, Cyberjaya; peace keeping mission Syrique; Milosylvanian Campaign- Commander Ring planned and led the main assault in the Lumpen Republic that broke the back of resistance by the Milosylvanians 'Prince's Axes' ; Yurkan Campaign- Commanded the Purifiers Army; Haven Campaign-Commanded the 4th Red Jaguar Command-Planned and cordinated the seizure of Allanea's SW Coast, the relief of Feline's troops in Heston City. With eighty thousand Purifiers and two thousand Red Jaguar he managed in a matter of weeks to crush the Allanea defence forces numbering over four hundred and fifty thousand soldiers; All of these campaigns were sucessful and were victories for the Retaliatory Guard.

Commander Ring has earned the Moniker of 'The White Knight'. He values highly the past history of the Crusader Knights Purifiers and like most men of Coventry takes honour very seriously. He has eschewed the normal Retaliatory Guard Command philosophy of the Red Jaguar and has instead commanded as a Purifier. The Purifiers have a strict code of conduct and honour , and Adan Ring is the highest proponent of these ideals. Unlike Commander Vaikov, Commander Ring is not likely to allow his subordinates run wild and takes control of every aspect of his command.

His mercy to enemy soldiers and especially to enemy civilians is as legendary as Commander Vaikov's cruelty was infamous. Commander Ring at all times tries to uphold the chivalrous ideal of the Knights Purifiers.


Name: The Right Honourable Theleb Kanaan
Position: First Republican
Age:49

Background: Theleb Kanaan is a lifelong member of the Progessive Republican Party and it's current chairman. He has completed his year of mandatory Velite Guard service and even earned the rank of Leftenant in the Velite Guard.

Theleb Kanaan has doctorates in Civil Engineering, Philosophy and Political Science all from Vaad's Gate University, Lassic. He has reached the Second Degree of Knighthood in the Coventry Institute for Democracy, allowing him to use the title 'Right and Honourable'.

Theleb Kanaan is currently serving his fifth non-consecutive term as First Republican, head of the Republican Council. He was chosen by Supreme Republican Commander Vaikov to re-organize the Republican Council after the Communist Insurgency and has remained relatively popular ever since.

Theleb Kanaan was once a supporter of the UN and other international bodies. After being defeated by the anti-UN , anti-Internationalist R.O.P. Theleb Kanaan did what all great Progressive politicians have done in the past, re-evaluated and re-positioned the party.

Theleb Kanaan is a pure Progressive. He believes that public policy should always mirror the will of the People and he will gladly change the Progressive Party's platform to conform with the desires of the People. Like all hard-core Progressives he believes it is shameful for popularly elected politicians to go against the wishes of the majority of the People and instead sees himself as a constructive facilitator of the People's will in government.

Name: Sir Alec Connover
Position: Minister of Foreign Affairs
Age:30

Background: Sir Alec Connover served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as an active Velite Guard for twelve years. Five of those years as assistant to the awesomely popular and Machiavellian Minister Aran Adhemar. He has Degree in Poltical Science from South Lassic University, Lassic and has co-written three books on Political Science and economic politics and written one book one home beer brewing.

Sir Alec has also served as Ambassador to Tanah Burung. Sir Alec has earned the First Degree of Knighthood in the Coventry Institute for Democracy allowing him to use the title 'Sir Knight'.

Sir Alec is an easy going, jovial prankster. He never appears to be taking anything seriously or even to be paying attention, but (as they found out in Lavenrunz during the IMC meetings) he absorbs everything and can transform instanly from slackeresque layabout to erudite and decisive speaker. He has the uncanny ability to turn and use his oppenents positions against them and to sway the support of even those who don't like him, to his side.

Sir Alec's good looks, easy going attitude and absolute command of the facts of just about any situation make him a formidible Minister Of Foreign Affairs.

Sir Alec is responsible for the re-organization and annexation of the Lumpen Republic and the Republic of Phyrrus and concluding peace agreements with the Deomocratic Dutch Republic.

Name: William 'One-Hundredman' Issem
Position: Minister of Defence
Age:24

There has been a William Issem in military service for either the Free Republic or the Kingdom of Coventry since 859 a.d. when William 'The Pious' Issem founded the Crusading Order of the Knights Purifiers. Descended from the legendary Wilaim uf Issem-Feord, whose elven sword the family still passes down, the Issem family is the single most recognized clan in the Free Republic. William 'One-Hundredman' is directly related to such Vaadian icons as William 'The Silent'- the first ever Supreme Republican Commander and William 'The Reckless'- Supreme Republican Commander and defeator of the Czar of Narvik and of course William 'The Patient'- victor of Narvik in the communist insurgency.

William is a graduate of King's Point Military Academy with a degree in Joint Battlefield Tactics. He has had a year of Velite Guard training,three years Retaliatory Guard training and two years active duty with the Purifier Army , where he attained the rank of Field Marshal and earned the legendary 'Accord of the One-Hundredman' the first Issem to do so and earning his moniker.

William was lured into politics by Theleb Kanaan in support of the Progressives, whom his uncle , William 'The Patient' had ardently supported and his sister Emily Issem is treasurer. William's charisma and prolific family and military background finally brought to an end the decade of Atalea Grant, his wildly popular and virulently xenophobic predecessor.

In Military life, William excelled, as a politician he has run and won one campaign and has been a moderately vocal Minister of Defence. He has been much quieter than his predecessor, but to many that has been a supringly welcome change. His youth and charisma have made many assume that if he can hold his Ministry for a few years, the Progressives may position him to take the reigns of First Republican, especially since Sir Alec has flatly ruled out considering that position himself.


Name: The Right Honourable Valdemar Ishring
Position: Minister of Technology
Age:80

It may seem odd that an eighty year old is Minister of Technology , but in truth, no one in the Free Republic has done more to promote modernization and technological achievement. First elected to the Republican Council over fifty years ago he has also served as Minister of National Security and Minister of the Interior. The venerable old man is the anchor of the Progressive Party and only speaks up in the Council when words need particular weight.

Sir Valdemar has never served in the Velite Guard, being older than the laws that instituted mandatory service and is a well educated, erudite old gentlemen. Sir Valdemar has a degree in Computer Engineering and Doctorates in Theoretical Mathematics and Anthropology, he earned these dgrees from Vaad's Gate University, Lassic and Narvik Institute of Advanced Technology, Narvik, respectively. He has attained the Second Degree of Knighthood in the Coventry Institute of Democracy allowing him to use the title 'Right and Honourable' and is a member of the CID's board of directors and is tipped to possibly become one of the next Masters or Grand Masters.

Sir Valdemar instituted the ambitious satellite projects of the Free Republic, the conversion to nuclear fusion power, the nation wide broadband accecess and the Free Republic's formidible space program. Sir Valdemar is widely respected and is often called the 'Great Old Man of the Republic'. His retirement would leave a considerable void in the Progressive Party, that would not readily be filled.

The Nachxa

The Nachxa, a man shrouded in mystery, one of the two Tlatloni of the Tolteca Republic that still carry on active functions in the Free Republic. This is a personal history of the man from his own family's archives. Judgement as to the accuracy of the history, is left up to the reader.

Born in 1498 in Itza, southwest of Tollan. Named Nachxa-Itihicoatl a member of a minor family of nobles who served the God-Emperors as scribes.

1512-1601 Nachxa is sent to the Court of God-Emperor Itzcoatl to serve as a scribe in the sacred city of Tollan. During the War with the Republic Nachxa becomes a close advisor to the God-Emperor. The God-Emperor bestows the title of Tlatloni(one who speaks) upon him and grants him immortality, granting the title of THE Nachxa. The Nachxa acts as viceroy in the Tolteca Empire, acting as second to the God Emperor. It is The Nachxa that concludes the peace treaty with the Council of Lassic.

1609-1700 The Nachxa continues to serve as Viceroy. The God-Emperor Itzcoatl returns to the underworld and the God-Emperor Ehecatl takes his place. The Nachxa discovers the Olmeca plot to usurp Ehecatl's power, sparking civil war. The Nachxa again travels to Lassic and persuades the Council to sign an alliance with the Tolteca Empire. The combined Tolteca/Republican forces crush Narvik and the Olmeca.

1899 The God-Emperor Ehecatl returns to the underworld. Before leaving he gathers the 14 Tlatloni and decrees that they should lead the Tolteca into the Free Republic, that no more God-Emperors would come forth from the underworld and it is up to the Tltloni to guide the Tolteca. Emperor Ehecatl confirms their powers and immortality.

1900-1928 The Nachxa leads the Tolteca Empire in it's transformation into the Tolteca Republic, of the Free Republic.

1929 The Nachxa retires.

1964 The Nachxa comes out of retirement to help Themirin Ilek-Vaad organize the P.R.P. more solidly in the Tolteca Republic.

1983 with the election of Themirin Ilek-Vaad to First Republican and the 100% majority in the Republican Council , The Nachxa is named Special Envoy of the Republican Council.

1999 The Nachxa leads the Tolteca Velites of Costa-Mela (his summer home) against the Communist insurgents. The Supreme Republican Commander elevates him to Velite General. After the insurgency is put down The Nachxa spearheads re-organizing the Velite Guard while the Supreme Republican Command rebuilds the nation.

2007-2010 The Nachxa is agin confirmed as Special Envoy of the Republican Council. After the Lumpen conflict The Nachxa acts as Governor of The Lumpen Republic until free elections are held. Later he aids Sir Alec Connover ,Minister of Foreign Affairs Aran Adhemar and President Tequila Y Muerte of the Lumpen Republic put together and implement the Lumpen Republic joining the Free Republic.

2013-2015 The Nachxa is again confirmed as Special Envoy of the Republican Council and is named as Ilek-Vaad's representative to the International Mediation Council. The Nachxa acts as the Vaadian Representative to the IMC, negotiates an end to the blockade by the Austar Union and is sent to the FKC Parliament as an observer on behalf of the Free Republic.

Name: Lloyd Hamilton
Position: CEO, Chairman of the Board Jaguar-Daimler Motors LTD, Grand Master of the Coventry Institute of Democracy

Background: Born into a working class family in the slums of Coventry , Lloyd was forced to drop out of school at age 12 to help support his family. The young Lloyd became a mechanic at a cotton mill on steam engines. Advancing to the top of his craft Lloyd became enthralled by motorcycles and cars. In 1935 he and a fellow engineer, Ernest Haines, opened Swallow Sidecars LTD, business was brisk and they eventually also manufactured motorcycles and carriages for motorcars. In 1948 the genesis came and the company was renamed SS Motor Cars LTD.

The SS 100, 150 and 245 were smashing successess on the race tracks and in the markets. The high horse power and flowing lines made Lloyd and Ernest millionaires at a time when most 'rich' people had only tens of thousands of Drachma.

In 1952 Ernest Haines died testing the SS 320 and in deference to his partner Lloyd renamed and reformed the corporation, it became Jaguar Motors LTD. Jaguar had another string of huge successess with the Mark II, Mark III, the D-Type, the E-Type, the Mark IV , XJ6, XJS, the XJ Sovereign and so on. In the 1980's Jaguar absorbed the Daimler motors factories in Coventry and Hammerstead and rebranded as Jaguar-Daimler.

Lloyd Hamilton used his latgesse to fund the Progresive party and his good friend Themirin Ilek-Vaad and helped him form the Coventry Institute of Democracy.The C.I.D. was founded to help democratic movements anywhere on the globe. The C.I.D. also began the tradition of giving honorary Knighthoods in various dgrees to members and non-members that help promote democracy and human rights.

Sir Lloyd Hamilton is still active with the CID , but the operations of Jaguar-Daimler is handled by his son Lloyd Hamilton Junior. He is still greatly respected and Jaguar-Daimler is the number one employer in the nation and the number one supplier of vehicles to both the military, government and public. Jaguar-Daimler is renowned for it's generous pay and benefits and it's benevolent associations with it's unions.

The only grey cloud are the persistant rumors that the CID has fostered democratic revolutions, assassinated dictators and monarchs and funded arms dealers to support democratic insurgents. These rumours have yet to be proven.
