In a stunning turn of events yesterday, Cameron Wix was elected as First Executive of Ellicoria in a landslide. The new Executive, considered an underdog to incumbent Jaden Noth, proclaimed victory at a rally late last night. Thousands came to show their support as the new Executive announced that Noth had conceded the election. Noth, First Executive for two terms, had been accused in recent months of conspiracy and bribery, but was still expected to win. Wix, a member of the Moderate Conservative Party, pronounced that he would lessen the power of the corporations while still maintaing the proud Ellicorian tradition of Capitalism and Conservative Economics. Considered by some to be a borderline Libertarian, his politics appealed to people of all political persuasions. He has promised to clean up the government and lessen crime, as well, something all people could relate to. Wix was sworn in to office this afternoon.

Having recently won election as First Executive of Ellicoria, Cameron Wicks tonight called a special meeting of the Ellicorian Congress. There, members of Wicks' own Moderate Conservative Party, as well as members of the Liberal Labor Party and the Libertarian Party, voted to move Ellicoria to the 10000 Islands region. The motion was opposed by the Corporate Power Party, the majority party, but it was outnumbered as the other three joined together to pass the motion. Wicks, who came into power yesterday in a landslide vote of the people, has promised to end the corruption of the government by corporate forces, ending crime and helping the poor, while still maintaining a strong national defense and Ellicoria's proud history of Capitalism and moderate conservatism.
