They where many, they had been one, their where many.

The Hive moved through the day, Millions of them moved.

Then a human came, gave the queens their own minds.

The First Queen fell to her own Devices, The Hives fought.

The First pushed the Hives away, thus the first laws where made, these where:

Should a Queen fall, her Children do as well.

None May have conspiricy in their heart without it being known by the Queen.

The Hives must commune every day, at least once.

Their are none who may flee.

This was the birth of the Crystal Cities of Kenarini, Seven Queens where born, and they born the Magic's that created the Crystals that made the Hives protected from the things that threatened the Hives.

Then Enemies where Destroied. None would be allowed to threaten the Hives. None did, the races Perished, the Enemy where killed.

And then the Crystals where fashioned into ships to explore the stars, and once more races where anialahted to protect the hive.

Then the Rift was opened, and the two worlds where forever connected. Then the skill of creating the rifts anywhere was found, and the Hive began to chart the stars.

Thus the Crystal cities where Born.

OOC Their are messages sent to nations, but they are different per ship, just make contact.

Somewhere at the fringes of the vast and underpopulated domain of Lord Atum, a young overlord called Agon, of the rank of Nomarch, one of those alarmingly common minions that had grown to far too great a number, sat with a minor shipment of goods from an outlying planet, destined for the thriving capital world of Mnewer.

Few advanced species who actually saw Mnewer would call it thriving, but its people lived what was, by the standards of those who lived under the goa'uld, an excessively cosmopolitan lifestyle.

He looked at a display wearily, as the small Tel'tak class cargo ship registered strange signals. Altering his course a little, but taking no other action, he decided to monitor.

There was a moment the Hives where unaware of the Goa'uld watching, but the thoughs on them where becons for the Mages. Their was a moment, then four ships made of a glass looking matirial. The many Kenari stood on the decks, their where mages on as well.

Why do you observe us? What is interesting about the hives? We may want to know. It was spoken in serise of clicks and wissles, Not on any human type of language.

Ok, I'm in.

The USS Katana was on patrol in the Argon sector, just on the fringes of the Lord Atum – Imperial Star Empire border when they received a signal, composed of high pitched squeaking noises. The captain of the Katana stepped up to the Communications station and she asked, “Where did that signal come from?” The communications officer studied the transmission carefully and after several minutes had come up with the answer the Captain wanted, “Its outside ISE territory ma’am, it is in the Xenon sector, from a FTL capable civilisation known only as ‘The Hives’.”
“Right,” the captain returned to her command chair, “Helm, set a course.” She turned to her first officer and her science officer. “You two, you have,” She looks at her small display panel, “2 hours and ten minutes to become experts on ‘The Hive’”
The Communications officer looked up to his captain, “Uh, ma’am, it is actually Hives, plural, they appear to be several different governments or factions ruling the planet.”
The Captain smiled, “Thank you Mr. Kim,” she then returned her gaze to the two officers, “Two hours, find out everything you can.” They nodded, turned and stepped into the turbolift located behind the captains chair.
The helmsman turned to look at his Captain, “Captain, we have four and one half hours until we get there.”
The Captain smiled, “I know, but they will tr to get it all in, in two hours.”
The helmsman just shook his head and returned his concentration to the helm controls.

***4 hours later***
“You mean we had four hours?” Lieutenant Fenland and Executive Commander Lichgate looked dismayed at their captain.
The helmsman smiled and did not look away from his panel.
The Captain only looked at her officers and nodded, “I wanted to see if you could perform a miracle, and it appears that you can.”
“Captain, we are approaching the planet.” The helmsman reported, still smiling.
“Good,” The captain adjusted her weight in the chair, “come out of subspace, activate cloaking shield.”
The helmsman pressed several commands into his control panel and the ship slowed to sub-light speeds, when the ship had exited subspace the tactical officer activated the cloaking shield.
“Sir,” the tactical officer looked up, “a vessel from Lord Atum is here, reading signature as a Tel’tak class cargo freighter.”
“Raise shields and activate weapons systems.” The captain then looked around her bridge, “Just in case,” she assured her crew.

Their was a river, it was larger then most.

Along its western bank stood a city

But the City was like none other, it was huge, and looked as if made of glass.

In the Morning light coloured figures could be seen moving through the transperant halls.

One type stood out, for they stood tall, like a human, and had two arms instead of two legs.

They had pure clear wings with veins that carried a milky white substance through, making it look like a spider made its web on the creatures back.

They also had a ball of orange on their chests, and from this web like patterns branched out, each one a badge of skill.

These creatures moved to one room, watching each other.

Then the magic worked, and fromthe ground more of the Crystal formed, creating a new tower. Thus the cities grew.

((I shall wait for you to reveal yourself, or to come to close to the hives))

A safe distance from the two converging ships, a small group of creatures looked onward. The creatures were a redish shade of orange and gave off a strange glow in the dark of space. The were roughly the size of half a ship but some of the older looking ones were a bit larger. Manto flapped his wings to keep from being pulled closer to the gas giant nearby. He knew that usually ships that converged meant to send small pods between each other but sometimes they would burst out in flashes and small explosions. It was a treat to watch and Manto didn't want the young in his herd to miss something like this. With a small flick of his tails he indicated to the females to let the young out, and small pouches burst under them as they let the children out to watch the spectacle. Manto had never seen ships such as these meet and he settled in to see if he had predicted right.
