seeing as no one really viewed nor responded to this in the gameplay forum, here it is again:
OK, first off, ive been here a looooong time, but only now am i actually trying to standardize my characters, ranks, etc. So far, for my hierarchy, i have this:
THS Hierarchy-
//Gov't\\
Executor(1) - Artanis
Prefect(13) - Adun, ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ..., ...
(50) - .......................................................................
(200) - ......................................................................
(1.000) - ....................................................................
(40.000) - ...................................................................
//Military\\
Executor of the Army(1)
Executor of the Navy(1)
Executor of the Air(1)
Prefect of Special Operations(1)
Prefect of Intellegence Operations(1)
Marshall of the Army(50)
Marshall of the Navy(20)
Marshall of the Air(20)
so far it is incredebly basic, and only the executor and prefect ranks will have all positions have a character related to it, and maybe the other positions(which i would love to get help finding names for) might have 2 or 3 characters related to them.
Thanks in advance for any help on names, more ranks, and etc... i think im gonna get my own character names, but otherwise any help would be lovely.

Um, THS, what are you actually asking people for? You can obviously make your own names and ranks and such up, and you look like you've done that with the ranks for the heads of your armed forces.
It looks alright to me so far, but what kind of input do you really want?
Well i've not been posting in these forums for much, but i have experience with other website game things such as Ambar, (that website where u wer ur own planet, had something to do with Galaxies) and yeh, so whether u wanna listen to this or not is ur choice but hey.
"Intelligence" could always come under the "Gov't" part of your hierarchy, as it doesnt really sound like a military unit although that may not be the case with your nation. Are the (Numbers) next to the Ranks the numbers of those ranks available? As a Gov't/Military rank, you could go for something like "Regional Governer" (it worked for the Roman Empire, and look how long that lasted), with as many of these as regions you have in your nation. Perhaps assign these say a Marshall of each, reserving the Navy marshalls for those by any coastal territories. You could also have local council leaders or parlimentary/senatorial leaders if that is how you want your nation to be.
Hope that may have been of some use to you :)

im just looking for input as to the names of certain positions, like im not sure what to call the ranks in the military below what i have... otherwise i should be fine.
oh, wow... i just noticed, i completely forgot to ask anything in my first post...*smacks forehead*
anyway i just want to create the hierarchal system that i would use from here - on - out, so i don't confuse myself further like ive done in the past(emperor, king, dictator, president, imperator, general, w/e)
for the (50), (200), (1.000), (40.000) things i would like names like magistrates, or something.... not magistrates, something with a more classical feel i guess.
*one again smacks forehead*

You thought of Legate for say a commander of an individual army?

As for me, I run a modified U.S.-style cabinet with a Parliament that's structured much like Congress, except the House of Delegates (direct voice of the people) is the upper chamber and the Senate (appointed by state legislatures) is the lower chamber. The House would have to ratify treaties and would vote on removal of office proceedings (the Senate would vote on whether or not to impeach the President and send the actual voting to the House).
The other differences are that I have two Senior Vice Presidents, one for Internal Affairs (who is like the COO of a company) and one for External Affairs (basically the Secretary of State who's above the Cabinet). I also have Vice Presidents run the various Cabinet departments. In addition, I made the Navy a separate Cabinet position from the rest of the DoD.

thank you, and also thank you for catching on to the theme. i wasnt sure how the hierarchy would work in the sense they had in the game. exactly what i wanted.
