Based on the general success of the Nations States F1 (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=398766), I was thinking of running a NS Touring Car Series. Basically, its the DTM/LM/SCCA/ALMS/JGTC/etc. area of racing. Race winers and what not are gonna be determined by a program thats being worked on. Teams are allowed 2 drivers, I'll be posting a driver/team setup list soon. If you wanna be involved, but not enter a car or sponsor, you can also enter a track. This is just to see whose intrested, I think I'll leave it open to 10 teams, then I'll cut it off.

I'm working on how to add things like driver skill and luck, pit skill, etc. into the equation, and the rp will be set up like the NSF1 series, with posts about the drivers in the series, the races (more than just who won, but things like track offs and what not), things like that. I'll have the sign up sheet ready by tonight, and we'll be good to go from there.

Next time, I'd recommend putting what sort of interest you're promoting in the title of the topic. "OOC Intrest thread" is pretty bland.

Yeha, thats why it says NSTCC.
Actually, you can no longer change the displayed title by editing your first post. It takes a mod to do that ... which I happen to be.

Somehow, Imi, I don't think that you and I are on the same wavelength when someone says 'touring car'. ;)

Good point. By touring car, the race series will be a mix of DTM (German Touring Cars), SCRR (Sport Car Road Racing), and JGTC (Japanes Grand Touring Championship).

Here is one of the Imitoran NSTCC Car (http://www.rsportscars.com/foto/07/m3gtr01_01.jpg), and the other. (http://www.iol.ie/~donohoer/Nissan_Skyline_Nismo_GTR_Pennzoil_front_quarter.jpg)

Besides, I was looking to find a 1997 Renault Laguna, but I couldn't find one. My Vectra's look a bit woosey next to a BMW, but then again, the engines are ammense.

She showed exceptional talent for driving early on, and was quickly picked up by the GTAI for the national team. She has placed well in several contests, including a four year streak of Championship wins for the Imitora Touring Car Championship, and a win on the Rally Circut. Cassandra is most looking forward to the Championship race of the season, which will be held on the infamous Nordschlife, the 12.7mile track in Germany that is the bench mark for car testing.

Driver Two-

Overtaking Skills: 7
Ability to Handle Pressure :10

Prefered Weather Conditions: "Its better when wet"-Personal quote from James
Bio: James is the older driver of the team with a bit more track time under his belt. He is a great driver, but compared to the younger generation of drivers currently on the circuts in Imitora, he was always the backup to whatever team he was on, offering a post for the team. He has a decent set of wins under his belt from the early and mid 90s, and decent place sittings in the more recent seasons. His favorite track is the Imitoran based Broken Cross, a good 'twisty' track with several blind reverses and two long, decreasing radius sweeps, one left and one right.

Will add a three driver in a touch, need to play some GT4 for inspiration...

Still working on some more basica rules, but as of yet, your allowed 35 points to distribute among 4 skills, with 10 points being hte max. Further, all sizes of engines are allowed (I6, V6, V8, V10, V12...), but allowed no more than 465HP. No power adders (turbo, super, nitrous) are allowed either. AWD cars are allowed, but the AWD bias has to be set to the rear wheels, basically making it a RWD car with a hint of FWD assist.
