Renegade|OOC

People come, people go, the storyline of one being effected by the storyline of all. You cannot exist without being a part of another life, as even living in isolation would persuade a specific force with your absence. Its simply impossible, to not have an impact in life. It just so happens, that not everyone has as big an impact as they would like.

Welcome to Renegade. This will be our spiffy OOC thread, as I would appreciate it if we kept the First Renegade Thread free of OOC Chatter. Also, if you're showing interest in Renegade and would like to participate, TG me and let myself know. 'Cause, like, you can't just waltz in and such. This is a snotty exclusive RP. Just TG me with two things:

Player:
Role:

I dont want anyone posting IC in the Renegade Thread without passing it by me that they're going to even participate. I have things planned out, so TG me before you even think you want to post- Or be über-smote!

Current Players

Free Eagles: Gun For Hire

Arthago Nova: Former Mafia Bigwig

Newbish Delight: Tourist who doesn't know what's good for his health.

No endorse: white haired old man with a diner, who would just ramble on about anything with his customers. He'll probably pick back up his gun and become an assasin again.

Lethislavania: Daemon Representative

Mercenary Soldiers : Mercenary from Aurora Prime

Alcona and Hubris: The poor sap who is in love with Divit

Five Civilized Nations: Know nothing hacker SNITCH

The Druidic Clans: Vacation time! Wrong time. Wrong place.

OOC: Hmm, the problem is I need someone to tell my character about enough of the events for him to actually know what is going on or be aware something is wrong. :( Oh, well

As an extra treat I was going to do this thread in the style of Louis-Ferdinand Celine
The polished wood was dusty…but he ran his finger along it…blue eyes into brown…those eyes….they were of a goddess… deep brown….how could they be so….wonderful…he could feel her hair….he could smell her scent…lips slightly parted as she slept….nuzzling Blackie…the laugh…the laugh called out to him…across the void….across time.

Words shattered his dreams… vanishing like snow into a furnace…IT stood in the doorway…tall… elegant…despised and despising….he could only bark…bark "B*tch"…she barked back…epitaphs of hate…she despised him….he despised her…then alone….IT stormed out…away…to the Hated Ones…good riddance…he sat quietly….the ancient clock ticked of time….the air smelled of books and age…the stars shined upon the sea….all was still….his sanctuary expanded…enfolded the house again….he looked at the picture…he wondered if only….if only he had stayed…if only she had come…"Divit"…the words were eaten by the ancient walls…he sat alone again…he sat in regret.

However, I think a more conventional approached worked better.

yeah, this sounds cool, but are the players just suppost to do their own story line, then meet up somewhere? or is there a set story to follow?
Free Eagles

Fod, how tough are your gun laws? Could Felix legally get a gun through customs under the pretence that it was deactivated and he was selling it to a collector?
Alcona and Hubris
04-03-2005, 19:53
First Free Eagles, I think this is taking place in Cybertopia...

Second, I was wondering how you were planning on joining the main thread. The reason I ask is that I might have my character hire your character to find 'Divit' (Oh god this has turned into 'something about Mary' Oh well I always did think Camron Diez had a screw loose.) Well then I might be able to work my own character from there into the main thread.

Somehow he isn't the guy to mindlessly go looking for Divit with no clue where to find her.
Cyberutopia
04-03-2005, 20:43
Yes, this is taking place in the Cyberutopian colony of Aurora. More specifically, it takes place on Aurora Prima, a watery planet of 800 million. The planet is ruled entirely by the Imperial Dragonate, a semi-autonomous government under the control of Cyberutopia. Though it is significantly more authoritarian and conservative in its beliefs, the Dragonate reflects many of Cyberutopia's legistlature. To answer your question, there is a complete absense of gun laws on Aurora Prima.
Free Eagles
04-03-2005, 23:02
Ack. Thanks for telling me that. For some reason I thought Aurora Prima was a city.

Currently I have no specific plans for how my character joins the main story. I was assuming someone would hire him. Divit may want a bodyguard, others may want her found, killed or captured. Somebody entirely unrelated may hire him and he gets involved by other means. I have no idea right now.

An absence of gun laws makes it easy. Excellent. Although it is a fairly advanced assault carbine. I'm not talking about pistols here (he's got one of those as well).

But what old man were you thinking about? I don't think I've intentionally created any. And yeah, resuming posting has rekindled the warmth in the cold, endless void that was once my soul. ^_^

on a lighter note I'll try to set up a character bio and attempt to get it up pretty soon. either later tonight, or sometime tommorow. about what year is this supposed to take place? It'll help make the bio go a bit quicker.

05-03-2005, 06:30
The Biotech "Not Old" Man. :D I think it might do well just to have him react to her ignoring him? That always works out peachy. Pissed off drunks! Wheee!

NOF, I'm not too keen on taking on more people at the moment, as I would prefer if we had people left over to be introduced later on in the story. You can have a part in Renegade, allright. Just TG me before you post IC when you think you have a defined Role. Yes? Good.

Fod: Yeah, pissy drunks are...well...good for RPing purposes, at least. I'll make an amendum to my post that will include that.

NOF: 2118 is the time period. Y'know, subspace jumps, big scary spaceborne warships, hovertanks, the good ol' sci-fi lot. However, small arms are relatively modern-tech. Besides, an AK-47 will kill you just as dead as a subfrequency neutronium singularity blaster. Furthermore, "The Alley" is the poorest section of Aurora Prima, so there'd still be a majority of wheeled vehicles and other modern tech comforts.

That really does sound fun, but if it was in the right time frame I was thinking of using one of my characters I have in another RP. Yes she would be an interesting match for this.

Thanks for the Info on the bio thing, I'll come in when I see a good oppertunity.

A+H, minor point. You probably wouldn't find the name Felix. Either his codename 'The Wolf' or his alias 'James Wolfe'.

Is that Munich the one on Earth, in Germany? And where is the meeting point (city/country/planet)?

05-03-2005, 15:51
First item, yes I didn't think he would know his real id which is why I used "Mr. F" (I will ask next time but it seemed a reasonable email alias for a Felix)

Er damn, I thought I included that in the meet location information.

edit: Ah it is in there...

City=Torrhall (Ancient City on the Isle of Hubris, former capitol of Hubris)

Nation=The United Duchies (Alcona and Hubris's formal Rp name. Like

Knootoss is the United Proviences, Ma-tek is EOTED )

Planet= Earth (I've always considered that a defualt value and my characters are a bit Earth centric)

Location: Temple Square (Large open area before the Great Temple of Hubris in the center of the city. There is a huge memorial fountain in the center of the square with three large black slabs with names of the dead on two of them in small silver letters.

Arrival: Via Klatchian Space Station One. (Run by the Lords of War) Then space port at Torrhaven.
Both monorail/subway access and taxi's can take you to Temple Square

Hotels: Primarily small hotels in Torrhall. A vast array in Torrhaven (since it is a coastal city)

add: Earth Munich yup. I just use it as a foreign place of international espionage because I know it well enough. Plus with all the Nazi bunkers, Wittlebach catacombs and modern underground equipment it has a nice ability for people to move from place to place without being above ground.

Alright, just so I'm set straight, I'm going to slap down who I see in the IC thread, where they are, and what they're doing. This is mostly for my benefit, as I get confused just as easily as I confuse other people, but if it helps other people out, that's only making it easier on everyone.

Ishmael/Divit Hackett played by Fod: Standing in The Alley, having a convienent flashback to when she killed Three.

Agent Three played by Cyberutopia: Pwned.

That one guy (does he have a name?) played by Alcona and Hubris: Currently in Munich, about to give Felix the merc a contract to find his dear Divit.

Arthas Scipius played by Arthaga Nova: Walking around in The Alley with an unnecessary quantity of projectile weaponry, looking to get work. Runs into Ishmael in the hopes of attracting her attention, gets ignored.

Felix Nilson (last name taken from the game Mercenaries, I wonder?) played by Free Eagles: In Free Eagles, going to get an email to get a contract, go to Torrhall, get the contract, and probably wind up in The Alley.

Daemonirix played by Lethislavania: In The Alley, confronting Ishmael in a sufficiently scary-demon-like way to attract attention. Presumably plotting to convert Ishmael into one of its followers.

The Agents played by Cyberutopia: Hanging out in Cyberutopia (on Earth) questioning their existance and the meaning of trancedence. Yes, they do this often. At the least, Four and One are going to wind up going to Aurora Prima to do some detective work.

Random drunk guy with bionics played by Cyberutopia: Bumbling around The Alley with the rest of his ex-Shogunate friends, generally annoying Ishmael.

Is that everyone? Did I do it right?

05-03-2005, 23:46
I thought that it would be kinda strange to see SW in 2118. I guess that FTL will be quite new, as will cryogenics. BUT, probably there will be a few small low-powered energy weapons, but not widespread. Also, I'm guessing that things like the XM-8 will be prevelant and widespread for assasin/merc (due to incredible versitility and modular componets), and the 47 will be standard gang (replacing the classic pistol and tommygun from our century, as they are more reliable and powerful). Military will probably have much more powerful weapons...

Can my charecter run a diner in the Alley?
Fodmodmadtol
05-03-2005, 23:52
Here's how I see it.

Whoever is in the Alley now is in the Alley. Bad stuff will go on, hopefully with much firefight and fanfare. Eventually we get to a shuttle of some sorts bound for some other place, Commercial Passenger of course [ En board Felix Ishmael an Agent and another- Tentatively ], and somehow that gets hijacked by someone else. Somehow we land somehwere where we shouldnt be, perhaps reminscient of WWII Germany? Uber Military Government and whatnot, difficult to get through here. Hey look! A diner...! Duck out here for some reason, someone helps us along the way. Blah de blah, lots of people after lots of people- We arrive three feet into a story arch the size of the Gateway Arch. This is of course, all tentative.
No endorse
06-03-2005, 00:04
hmm... that gives me an idea then. If your charecter is going to be hijacked midspace, then my guy'd have to run a diner/bar in the area where your people are headed. I guess that helps if that place is oppressive, as the diner is not going to be WHO approved lol.

As a (tentative) note:
my guy is ex-assasin. He used to try to kill top political dogs in order to get his Libertarian party in power. He'll have an XM-8 with all the bells, whistles, and attatchments, but will be older (50s) and quite happy with his lot in life. Now he runs a diner in the dregs of the spaceport I guess.

I like tentative things. They wiggle when I poke them. No endorse, you're welcome to be the owner of a diner in The Alley, there will be some creative reason for coming along, I'm sure (Ishmael is a dine n dasher, hah!).

Space travel is relatively new, yes (fusion engines are the best sublight tech around, standard subspace warping the best FTL), and cryojunk is around, but not widespread (there are better ways of living forever). Small arms are considerably more advanced than the XM-8 branch of weaponry (gunpowder is obsolete). The most common weapon on Aurora Prima is the Dragonate imitation of the Cyberutopia CR-306A8 (uses pulse-fired caseless 3.6mm ammunition [whee, hypersonics!]), and you have to be suicidal to use hand-held plasma weaponry (plasma pistols are just too iffy, this is why they blow up in your face if you roll a one on a d6 in Warhammer40k [/geek]). The military has few weapons more powerful than the citizenry, thanks to the lack of gun laws, and the only more powerful weapons are restricted to the public only through their enormous prices (ie: the assisted armor mounted CAmrsCSG-1 heavy repeating 20mm slug cannon).

Went a bit further than "yes, you can have a diner," eh?

Sounds easier and gets me in earlier. We'll find something. You guys will probably destroy the diner and I'll be forced to run for "harboring" Ismael. (Assuming that your guys don't especially like people feeding renegade G-men killers.)

Hmm... well the XM-8 is nice in that it can convert from sniper to standard to SAW in a very short time period. Possibly like an XM-8, but with more advanced projectiles? I just like the fun flexibility in having such customization in a rifle. "M-88" then?

Went a bit further than "yes, you can have a diner," eh?

Aye LOL. More helpful too :D

Nah, you don't have to change the fact it's an XM-8 if you want an edge. The XM-8 is very shiny indeed, though since it's a lot more common to find needle ammo on Aurora Prima, you could have the 5.56mm barrel and magazine feed swapped out for 3.6mm ones for the sake of convienence. Unless you like an acute lack of ammunition, of course.

Eh, that's a good idea. I just think that assasin/merc types shouls have a weapon suitable to do pretty much anything, as you can swap different barrels/sights/magazines/grips/cover. Plus you get a shotgun or a grenade launcher that you can strap underbarrel lol. I'll go for an XM-8 modified to shoot 3.6mm then. Thanks! ^_^

Cyberutopia
06-03-2005, 03:36
Shotguns haven't changed much, except that now they can be found in minigun form. Grenades are just about the same, you throw, they explode in either HE or frag (the same explosive core can be used for either type of shell), people get hurt. Plasma grenades are uncommon, but are trafficked through the black market. Some crazy fuckers also use antimatter 'nades, but they don't last very long.

Felix will have a silenced pistol and a Free Eaglian designed LSR-122k spec ops assault carbine, using 5mm ammunition which fires conventionally, and is then boosted magnetically (so it requires ammo and power packs, which he has). If necessary, it could be modified to take 3.6mm ammo, but he could just as easily pick up someone else's gun, once he's shot them.

Nods...but currenlty that is OOC info for your character. His first name has already been stated...

Assuming Mr. Wolf (Felix) takes the mission. He will arrive at the Torrhaven spaceport (which sits on a large bay facing south.) and then will have a choice between staying at a hotel/motel (if a day early) or going to the meet via the subway/monorail. (forgot taxi)

The road and monorail between Torrhall and Torrhaven follows the Torr River most of the land here is either forest or large estates (like the hudson river valley in the 19th century) A nice relaxing sixty minute ride north

Torrhall appears to be something dragged out of the 19th century without much change. The city walls and outerworks are still standing and most of the buildings date somewhere from 1400 to 1922. Narrow streets that don't seem to work well with cars.

Oviously the subway is new and underground there...I've just been thinking Atlanta Metro really. Neat well maintained cars, lots of passengers (cars are expensive to keep) His stop is the one right before the major route interchange on the system, so the station and the cars would be packed with people.

Your character would be looking for someone 'becoming art' which will make sense because Bancroft will be sitting on the edge of the fountain, while a young woman (who we will later find out is his youngest sister) is making a charcoal drawing of him and the fountain. Obviously becoming art... ;)

I've given you the basics of Temple Square. Large, Romenesque Temple on the west side, Walls of the City Palace on the south, The other two sides of the square are old gothic buildings (Part of Torrhall University) And a lot of young Milita cadets/ plebs about the place. (As all college students have to be in the Navy, Marines, or Militia)...Torrhall doesn't attract front line military students as does other universities in the United Duchies. Of course what they lack in heavy training they make up for in shear numbers.

Bancroft basic description:
Eyes: Hazel
Height: 6'1"
Hair: Brown
build althletic but also a bit bookish wearing heavy rimmed glasses. Like all Alconians he will not shake your hand but give a short bow of the head in greeting.

Also you don't know who contacted you...likely since you work off Earth you have never heard of the man of fat or anyone connected to him. Also Bancroft can't really trust you at first either since the man of fat might want him dead...

H'okay.

At the this time, please refrain from making any new entrances. Any of them. After the BionicMan dies, leav Ishmael and Gray to deal with Faux Smile, and let the Agents stir in their... Stew. The thing between Arthaga Nova and Alcona and Hubris will continue on seperately from The Alley. If another scene is going to pop up, alert me before it does.

Now, for those in The Alley- Wait for Lethlisavania to post. And lets have that BionicsMan die off soon. I don't want to have Ishmael kill someone so early on. [ Aside from Three. Cause he's special. ]

"Ok, listen, I have 3 points to make!!!"

1) I'd be more than honored to have Arthas (Gray) kill off Bionics-Man. He does that alot.

2) Yeah, I don't think that me and Alcona And Hubris have anything going on down. I'm Gray, and only Gray.

3) Compliments to Fodmod there for coining the nickname Gray, it has stuck, as is obvious from the other forums.

4) Who is Faux Smile? Is it Lethislavania? I'm going to assume so. I dunno. I like the nickname system we got going though.

5) Sorry for not returning your PMs Fodmod, I probably would have been alot less confused if I had read them.

6) This is (Tied for) my favorite RP I'm in!!! Woowoo.

7) The teacher just came up behind me and told me to get off, so goodbye!

Er...I use locations like a movie director with an unlimited buget. And secondary characters who flit through scenes like Alfred Hitchcock in his own movies. After all we have to have a logical progression to get Eddie and Divit at least on the same bloodly planet!

Bah, your teacher sucks. My Journalism teacher lets us do whatever. ^_^

But anyway, I am certain Faux Smile is Lethli, and I am greatly enjoying the nickname system we've got going on, confusion aside.

Bionics-Guy is most likely to bleed out before anyone kills him, unless Ishmael gets frustrated with him, which is not beyond reason. Dunno about Gray killing him, that would most likely piss off Ishmael as she is in a better position to do so. Plus she's fucking insane.

The Man of Fat was doing a cameo role there...

I quake at the thought of a future journalism student who doesn't pay attention enough to ignore such things. Like all the poor deluded fools who watched Veronica Gurin because they thought Colin Farrel was in the thing. He was for all of thirty bloody seconds.

Damn. I'd written my post for that part, A+H. Doesn't make much difference, but I spent time on it. I'd meant that you do the actual meet between Bancroft and Felix, but whatever, you've done it fairly similar to mine. I'll just adapt parts of that planned post into my next one.

EDIT: You can do the conversation between them. Felix will want to know these things:
What the job is?
Who he's looking for? (name, description)
When & where she was last seen?
How much is he being paid for his services?

He'll also ask him (Bancroft) to come with him, as he doesn't know what Divit looks like.

Felix will speak in short sentances, saying only what is necessary. He avoids unnecessary chatter with those he does not know. As a minor point at this time, he will also insist on leaving through Torrhaven, so that he can get his pistol back.

Sorry, oh I do have a Wiki page (that I need to go back and edit again) But a basic sketch

Alcona and Hubris 1612-1972 ( Seperate nations usually at war with each other)

1972 Soviet Hubris collapses and Alexander Vaughn Crawford reassumes his right to rule over Hubris as heir to the Vaughn Dynasty

After Alexander's father Otto III, Grand Duke of Alcona dies. Alexander unites the two former enemies into one state the Dual Duchy of Alcona and Hubris.

Became the United Duchies after purchase of a continent from the nation Xanthal and the Cawahabian Inheritance

More in Felix's intrest. Professional Naval and Marine Forces with a general conscription Milita force. No seperate Airforce or Army. Special Forces are usually measured at very good or excellent, refered to commonly at 'Black Tabs'. http:www.freewebs.com/klatchia/index.htm has a recent map.

And I will Rp the conversation, with Wolfe saying very little besides nodding his head. I need to do some info digging now

Oh Fog, I am assuming this occurs after you have the hell beaten out of your nation by Rose. Two things, you are an earth nation? And what is your major airport?
Fodmodmadtol
08-03-2005, 00:37
Actually, this takes place way before Rose took out Nokona. That whole thing was devised to get Nokona out of the way. Anywho, this takes place before that. Actually... This predates the Clover Rebellion. WOO! NYX IS STILL ALIVE!

Major Airport? The most extremely major one would be Hesphaestus.

Fodmodmadtol Territory... Not Earth. Epsilon Eridani. Colonies on Earth V, yes, but I keep that entirely seperate from Fodmodmadtol. So Epsilon Eridani. You people should emmerse yourselves in my Wiki entries. :D

08-03-2005, 01:05
Alright let us see if I've got this all correct in my head:
All of the Divit threads started off at Epsilonia not in the territory on earth right?

Based on things: Edward met Divit before she joined the military. Likely in school (weee computer nerds in love...although she is one cute nerd.)

(The question becomes what is her third name ;) And have an Alconian kissing people as a greeting. I think there will be a lot of slapping going on just because he won't want to kiss them again.)
Fodmodmadtol
08-03-2005, 21:12
The first appearance of Divit was in the El Sentiel "Static" Thread, as Commanding Officer of IRC-ALPHA. She was shipped off back to Epsilonia due to icompetency, and replaced. Supposedly, this was by direct order from the Minister of Security. [ The Ministry of Security at the time being a glorified telecommunications Bureau. ]. After she exacted her vengence over the Government for the wrongdoings and such, she saught escape. She 'jacked a Crsyindomian Vessel, where Three suddenly appears! Boom shaka- Jackage of said Vessel, off to Aurora Prime. Boom shaka- Three's dead.

Raise curtain. Kill the lights. Cue Renegade.

-Takes a bow-

Kissing as a greeting? Fodian -Ethnocentrism! (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Fodian_Conversation)

Yep, Three was just randomly prowling around in some freighter belonging to a nation he'd never heard of, and TAH-DAH, he meets the smexy redhead that will tear his heart out. Literally. That was the most fun I've ever had shipjacking, I must say.

MUCHO IMPORTANTE!: No, I don't know a smidgen of Spanish, so don't get mad at me. But the mucho importante is how to spend my 5,000th post? Hmm...I must spend it wisely...like on a BIRTHDAY CAKE! Or...my halfway birthday cake. So it'd only be half. Wouldn't that suck?

Three items: The number wasn't the account number. But only the ancient Banker would know that.

Second item: The banker would have refered to Bancroft as Sir Edward. Just to add more confusion

Third item: If you recall there was a glass area off of the platform. Effectively a 'first' class section relating to the first car.

(No reason to edit, but I suspect those things will be important)

[edit]
Fod: I got so confused with that plot map

However based on current...er circumstances I am going to have to have Felix and Bancroft first head off to Fod and the Ministry as it is the only move that makes sense.

And why Bancroft may get seperated from Felix is fine...

Ack...your plot map (Which has Emily Bancroft as an Artiste) skips over a good deal Like how in the hell Felix is supposed to get from Earth to Fod (number of hours yet unknown) and then from Fod to Aurora Prime (40+ hours) to hook up with Ishmael before she leaves is a good question.
Fodmodmadtol
10-03-2005, 00:26
Well first off, that map is a vague suggestion.

-Blank stare-

Next, shuttles make stop overs. Earth, au Aurora Prime, au Epsilonia. Jah?
Cyberutopia
10-03-2005, 03:59
That plot map is...interesting. I like it, it's a good visual representation, but I think there are some incongruities with other characters. Which I am sure they'll get settled, so I'll just hang out and be cool. And think of who to send in. Maybe Four.

Ha, great plot map. Let's keep this thing going then.
Alcona and Hubris
10-03-2005, 05:37
Why would Bancroft neccisarily use a commerical shuttle or Felix for that matter be on a shuttle that stops at Aurora Prime? Before going to Fod?

I try to give my characters modivations for their actions besides picking up chicks in cargo holds of alien ships that they decided to poke around for no apparent reason.

Hey look an alien space craft, let's go poke around in the cargo hold!

Sorry Cyber but I always found that entrance a bit goofy.
Cyberutopia
10-03-2005, 06:12
It's cool, I agree that was perhaps the single worst RP entrance I've ever done. I maintain Three was planning on stealing back some important data or something that had been smuggled onto the freighter without the crew's knowledge. But I just came up with that, so it's not a real justification.

Although, I could do worse. Such as...

"HEYZORZ! i entar dis RP now."

Case in point.
Alcona and Hubris
10-03-2005, 18:07
Well I said goofy, not noobish. Although eveyone appears they want to get first dibs on screwing the new girl in the Alley sub-thread.

Case in point.

*Looks Confused at that last part*

Has that something with like two of your characters being killed off within like twenty posts of each other?

Although, it is quite sporting of you to allow characters to die so quickly. Even if it makes no sense to kill them.

I'll hop in as soon as the story shifts back to the Alley. Done with the intro post (It reads pretty well I think... well, at least its intelligible)

Any ideas how my guy gives chase?

And how bad is the alley exactly? Do the lights still work? Do the people hate the police? And are there scuffles every now and then? I'm unfamiliar with how terrible "bad" is in NS.
Fodmodmadtol
10-03-2005, 23:09
One- The Alley is the epitome of society's scum.

Two- No one's screwing Hackett anytime soon. With the... Lack of sex drive I have yet to make apparent. :D
Alcona and Hubris

I know. I'm just floating the suggestion in case. I'm cool with going in anytime and pretty much anywhere as long as the entry area is pretty much the worst imaginable slum. (which is why the Alley works nicely, but I'm cool with pretty much anywhere else)

To answer A&H, I am never stingy with my character's lifespans. Whenever I bring in a character, I like people guessing whether or not that character will remain a constant. Plus, getting people killed is fun, because I can't always kill other people. Bionics-Guy was never meant to survive, and I would have been surprised if the moron made it halfway through.

Hmmmm, upon rereading his posts to get a feel for the character, it seems like he has a background that I wouldn't want to ruin. Unless you he told you it was OK to have one of us use his character, perhaps it would be best if you wrote him out, or you could ask him if it's ok. I would TG him and ask, but currently I can't access the NS page for some odd reason.
Alcona and Hubris
12-03-2005, 17:59
Hmm...based on the fact that he has serious magical power I would say have him written out. Or just pushed out.

Say driver of a lorry gets blinded by the all the ash, makes a wrong turn drives through someone's building and winds up seperating the alley in two. And almost killing er...what's his face...whatever he wanted out of Ishmael becomes temporarily mute as he deals with a Renegade Mechanical Device...

My pence of advice....

Alright FCN, this may not be my place but I want this to be a good thread. And not read like an early script of Back to the Future.

Excactly how does your intelligence agency know that she is on Auroa Prime? Which she has been on for less than fifteen minutes!

There are logical ways of finding out this information but you don't establish it.

Just use the old [god voice]"Uber, all knowning intelligence agency that see's all and knows all shall tell you."[/god voice]

Really I thought we were going for a higher quality thread than that...
Five Civilized Nations
17-03-2005, 01:57
I want it to be a good thread too, but I am screwed and severely constrained by the fact that I am completely out of the storyline and by the fact that I am one of the farthest space nation from Terra on NS. Unless, I could remotely connect over an interstellar form of internet and interact with Ishmael, this is the best solution.

However, I could have my character go all the way to Fodmodmadtol and then proceed to Aurora Prime.

Fodmodmadtol, what do you think?
Alcona and Hubris
17-03-2005, 16:07
Well my character isn't exactly running in strait on either now is he? Actually the key is in the previous Divit thread where she disabled a space station by hacking it.

That gets you a secondary point on the way to Aurora Prime without suddenly knowning about where she was (That was approximatly 30 hours ago...they might send you there to investigate)
