[OOC: Alright...I'm here to ask Scolo, Nathi, and the gang if they would like to do an RP regarding my nation and its relations to the Triumvirate.

If you hadn't been following my nation as of late, it has just ended a massive civil war and is in a state of rebuilding. The young Emperor is still trying to assert his control over the vast domain, but there is still a good bit of tension in the sector.

Most importantly, relations with the Order of the Seraphim have been strained over the past two years due to the war situation. The Seraphim had refused to assist the resistance movement during the war, instead supporting the corrupt, genocidal regime in place, and it was this resistance that ultimately won.

Because of this, the young Emperor wants to expand his horizons and come into contact with other influential leaders. Obviously, Yut is one of the first main groups that come to mind. So my question is...if Steel Butterfly were to host a party and a conference on a number of topics, would Yut attend?]

Well, if Speeks is going to Euroslavia in Arda, then I think someone in IntRelate can manage to go to who is ICly considered to be one of the less obnoxious Order states (the title of "Least Obnoxious, Bordering on Downright Friendly" going to Vrak). Also, the change to a more enlightened regime will inevitably catch the interest of the Segments and probably the Trium as a whole.

Heh...I'll always have my arrogance...although I shudder at the thought of me being obnoxious ;)

...that and Vrak's just a friendly guy.

Anyhow, that's what I was assuming. I figure it would be a good meeting to discuss policy and such, with a party as the backdrop to keep the non-important attendees happy.

ooc: Well, you know, it's tradition in the Dominion to discuss the serious biz over a meal and a decent glass o' wine and such ... We've ic'ly had some brief discussions in the past, and would likely look favorably on a bit of change, and if it's in the cards, a distancing from dearest Sketch - with whom we still have 'issues'. (Purely ic'ly mind.)

However the spirit moves you, as you put it. My first post mainly served as a quick and IC intro to my nation and what has happened in it lately for those who don't follow my RP's...heh...as close as I do. The most important thing in the post, though, is that the invitations have been sent out. I assume that you all can imagine what such an invitation would say. You may show up if you wish, jumping ahead in time a bit, or you may recieve the invite and stew over it or whatever. It's really up to you. I didn't want to put all sorts of restrictions on you all in our first real RPing encounter.

Whenever you all wish to actually arrive, feel free to do so. Granted I know you're waiting for the rest of the bunch to reply, but whatever you want...

Sorry - been kind of overwhelmed on this end of late. Trying to catch up and pull my stuff together all around. Haven't forgotten. :)
