"Pidorean Invitation

Hereby, The Theocracy of Pidorea extends an invitation to any nation willing to participate in a diplomatic meeting.

With this Pidorea hopes to broaden it's vision of the world and initiate contacts with several nations, so that Pidorea isn't a stranger to the wide world beyond the horizon.

Any nation interested in visiting the nation of Pidorea will be welcomed at Saint's Peek, in the North of Pidorea. It's a quiet and peaceful environment in the mountains. The path that leads out of the mountains is relativly short, compared to locations higher in the mountains. The path is suitable for wagons and cars, but the Peek also has a landing place for ships of the sky.

Arriving at Saint's Peek you will be welcomed by Hanur Proverteus, representative of Pidorea. In immediate sight lies then a building built from blocks white as snow. It's shape is a low, but wide cilinder which counts two floors and on top of it stand four small towers, longing for the blue sky above. After entering this building one can ask Mr. Proverteus any questions and the oppertunity for diplomatics and negotations is a viable one.

If one would want to take a break while one is at Saint's Peek, down the path to civilisation lies a lush forest, and one can hear pidgeons a dozen in there. If the forest is not what one desires, around the white serene building there lie gardens and parks and at certain spots, the view is a grand one. Looking about the mountains, graced with a white blanket of snow, or the far view over the green lands below, where many forests can be spotted and white dots in the distance, the towns and cities of Pidorea.

Another possibility is to enjoy a hot bath in the building, or perhaps enjoy a steam bath in a hot water spring not far from the building. Ofcourse, if none of this is desirable, but food and drinks are, then that can be arranged aswell. We will try to make the time here in Pidorea a nice one.

And when it's time to leave, we will present you with a white pidgeon, symbol of our nation. But not a normal pidgeon, rather a postal pidgeon which you can provide with a small note and it'll fly all the way back to Pidorea to deliver the message if so desired.

We hope that this invitation will appeal and perhaps one might visit us then.

-Signed, Hanur Proverteus, Representative of Pidorea."

Pidorean Representative Hanur Proverteus folds the paper together and puts it in his pocket and looks over the area which is known as Saint's Peek, waiting for the first arrival.

Hanur Proverteus, Representative of Pidorea is a somewhat older man, and his hair, which seems to be remarkably gray already, seems to lose it's grandeur and starts to show his head's skin more and more by the day. Even though this is the case, his face seems vital, even though signs of older age are clearly seen on it. His stance is fierce, but when he walks he walks slowly and perhaps one could say a bit shakey. Even though age starts to consume his body, his spirit stands strong, as is visible in his stern and determined dark brown eyes.

Proverteus wears a long white robe, with black edges and some fancy golden emroideries made on it. Under his feet rest sandals and he seems to enjoy the freshness of the cool morning. A white pidgeon rests on his shoulder, and during his waiting period Proverteus sometimes gives it some grain out of another pocket in his snow white robe.

Josef's eyes darted to and fro as he read the letter with anticipation, a mix of interest and curiousity. As he finished it, he folded it back to the seams it arrived at the diplomatic headquarters in and tucks it under a pile of paperwork at his desk. There were important things happening at this time, most important the NYNJer attack on the capital, - and it was these things that halted him from visiting the newborn nation himself. However, the Soviet Union would send a delegate. Vladimir Walkerov, the Minister of Education. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/HogsweatNS/HogsweatCharacters/VladimirWalkerovEducation.jpg) While he was not what one would usually send on a diplomatic mission, the rest of the Government's team of Officials was tied up on operations pertaining directly to the security of the great Communist state. Vlad would have to do. Josef booted up his computer, humming the national anthem of the country as he did so. Finally the machine gave it's final initialisation whirr and he began to type out his reply message, in the formal dark print of the Hogsweatian Diplomatic Font.

To The Prosperous Nation of Pidorea, and to all of it's Glorious Citizens that it may concern;
We have recieved your letter at our nation yesterday, and having read with extreme interest about your new nation that has arisen, we would be willing, as per invited, to send a delegate to your nation to establish ties to what we are definate will be a great country.
As we are not sure of the level of civilisation Pidorea mantains we ask by what vehicle our delegate shall arrive - by sea or by air? We will gladly send by either.

As Autocrat of the Soviet Union, I also wish to be informed whether the nation of Pidorea would follow our expressed ambition to construct an embassy in your Capital city, upon where one of our ambassadors would reside. I hope that you may take this into consideration.

There will of course, be further discussion should you allow our delegate to arrive.
~Thank you, and good day.

"To the Repulic of Skinny87,

"To the Great Soviet Socialist Union,

We are honored and flattered that such a grand nation as yours sees interest in our small nation. We welcome your delegate with open arms.

The location of Saint's Peek is reachable from land or air, but alas the sea is not a very viable option, for one would have to travel quite the distance from the coast to the location of Saint's Peek.
A better option is to arrive from the air, even though our level of civilisation is not remarkable compared to neighbouring nations, the location of Saint's Peek is prepared for vehicles that approach from the sky.

We are very pleased that your nation shows such interest in ours. And in response to your inquiry about the possibility of an embassy I, Representative Proverteus, can assure you that it is a very viable option. Your ambition for such is very interesting, and it will surely be an interesting subject during your delegate's stay at Saint's Peek.

It will assuradly by a very interesting meeting between our two nations.

-Signed, Hanur Proverteus, Representative of the Theocracy of Pidorea."

The annoying noise stopped from the typing machine as Representative Proverteus stopped typing and and he now pulls out the last of the two messages. He let out a deep sigh as he looked over the messages. If he had been given the oppertunity, he would have written the messages with a quill and ink, but alas he had to do it with a machine, so he used this one.

Representative Proverteus glanced for the last time over the messages and put them next to the typing machine. He raised his voice and called for a servant as he stood up. Upon the Representative's call a servant came with haste and Proverteus handed him the two messages to deliver to the two nations.

The servent quickly left the room and Proverteus walked to the window in the room, a window out of many in the white building on top of Saint's Peek. He watched a feathery white pidgeon fly by, which sped towards a mountain in the distance, the pure white at the mountains peek almost melting with the white clouds in the sky. As he enjoyed the sight he did not ponder how the messages would be sent to the other nations, that was not his responsibility and thus of no concern to him.

Ah, how Proverteus loved the view in Saint's Peek, it soothed his mind so that he wouldn't think about the more advanced neighbour civilisations. Just enjoying the view. And he thought: Who needs technology when you can enjoy such sceneries?

To his Excellency Hanur Poverteus, Representative of the Theocracy of Pidorea

On behalf of Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Aurora, I salute you and your nation. Your invitation is most gracious and enticing, and I would like to arrange to send an envoy. However, before this is done I would like perhaps for you to send to our foreign ministry some information regarding the customs, etiquette and indeed the very nature of your country so that we can prepare an agenda for discussion.

with the greatest respect
General Hans Schlabel, Chancellor of Lavenrunz

Time slowly passed and the Representative Poverteus continued to watch the calm and peaceful environment at Saint's Peek, but this time from a garden just a bit from the white building.

Standing calm and enjoying the serene landscape around him, Representative Poverteus heared somewhat hurried footsteps of a servant approaching from the white building. He turned around and looked over the servant who held something infront of him, offering something to Poverteus. The Representative extended his hand and took from the servant what he offered. Without a word the servant turned back to the white building again as Poverteus turned towards the scenic view he had been admiring a minute ago.

Representative Poverteus looked at what the servant brought; paper. With on it news from another nation. Poverteus read what was on it and then walked slowly to the white building. Soon one could hear the noise of a typing machine from the Representative's private quarters.

"To the Respectable General Hans Schlabel, Chancellor of Lavenrunz,

It is with great joy and pleasure we receive word from you on behalf of Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Aurora. We would be honored by a visit of a Lavenrunzen envoy and we await it's arrival with anticipation.

Regarding the customs, etiquette and the nature of our country, I will provide some information in this letter. Since there isn't really an official etiquette and the costums almost vary from town to town, I will only be brief about it. After that, I'll give additional information of the Theocracy of Pidorea.

An official ettiquette hasn't been made, rather on the several official occasions, one does what seems to be an appropriate behaviour for the officiality. What appropriate behaviour is for an officiality may be regarded differently by each individual in the nation, but overal it's clear what is not appropriate. Disturbing the officiality or causing hinder and annoying the others attending to the officiality are several cases of what is not appropriate. As long as the peace at an officiality remains, it's generally viewed as a succesful officiality.

Costums vary too much to go into depth about, but I can assure you, there aren't any malicious costums through this nation.

Furthermore, the Theocracy of Pidorea focuses on it's average citizens having no worries about political issues, rather the government tackles that for them. This opens the oppertunity for them to live a peaceful live and extend one's spirituality.

My hope is that this information will suffice for now. If there are any further questions to be asked or inquiries to be made, then don't hesistate to ask once your envoy arrives at Saint's Peek.

-Signed, Hanur Proverteus, Representative of the Theocracy of Pidorea."
