Time was bountiful in this world, especially for one who would never experience an ultimate and spiritual death. Such a man as Indigo would of course understand the very concept of immortality, that time was but a perception. In some places, such as the edges of MercurySpace today, time had almost stood on end, still as the ice could be. And in others, such as aboard fleets within the Havenic region, time was burned as the sun was bright. Yes, time was indeed a perception, probably not determined by the length of it, nor the place of which it existed. No, time was but up to the individual to tell, to share, to experience. And when Indigo had realised the time it had been, he could only jump at the suggestion of friends, both current and future.

Amanda, his young daughter had in fact broken this revelation upon his eyes; for the first time in possibly a decade he had realised the lack of time he had spend watching and enjoying the company of others. Celebrities such as Lady Sirithil of Menelmacar and the Lord General James De'Gritz of Iuthia hadnt even been seen since either the summit of VERITAS, which apparently wasnt too active on the political theatre as much expected, or else they hadnt been seen since the coronation of the Blood Dynasty, now established for longer than time could tell, if one wanted to appear extravegant. In truth, it had been but a decade, but still, far too long since meeting with friends, and allies abroad. Perhaps, thought Indigo as he considered the event, It would be also a great time to meet with nations of whom the Union had never, really had relations with...

Of course, it was too much of an expectancy to put the pressure on that you are believing for everyone in the given universe to attend your party, and Indigo was well aware of the fact. Still, the invitations were sent, and the meeting of friends at this social event was open to anyone who was willing to answer...

Wow, I was so shocked when I had been informed that I had not properly met with others for almost a decade, and instantly the desire was bestowed upon me to perhaps host a carefree gathering of anyone who was interested. Really, how long has it been since anyone has truly met without a clear purpose or direction; usually being the formation of alliances, relations with others, discussing the latest events...

Anyhow, as I remember being taught as a child, it is quite proven to be healthy for people to take a break from the daily stresses of life or the world around you, and with that upon my heart, I have decided to invite you all to just a gathering of people, where food and drinks will be served without purpose but to take a nice relaxing break, to meet others to forge personal friendships, and to harvest ones already created. You are all invited, and the meeting will be held sometime within recent days.

I understand only too well how the stresses of running a state can be. Only eight months ago did Krioval become spacefaring, and now we work on colonizing planets. I wonder where the time goes, sometimes. The chance to visit another advanced nation without the pressures of diplomacy, trade, or impending crisis would be most welcome, especially when that nation is yours. If we are welcome, I would like to come to your gathering. I am unsure whether space is an issue, as I would like to bring a few members of my family with me. They deserve a vacation perhaps even more than I do. I look forward to your reply.

Hey, some kind of holiday I believe ought to be filled with enjoyment. And since you will be attending, let me pay and organise everything related to your stay within the Dynasty. I think it ironic actually, that although being a race of 'blood-sucking vampires', we are in fact quite reasonable toward guests and visitors abroad. Funny our world is. Anyhow, I hope you wont be too disappointed to find that this event will be relatively low-key, I have no intention to make it a full on global conference or the sort.

Thank you for making the arrangements to have us in your nation. I personally remember when such hospitality is extended toward me. I am glad to know that yours is a vampiric race - I'll leave the light-themed gifts at home, unless otherwise instructed. As to the "format" of the event, I'm thrilled to even be able to take a vacation this year at all. We're finally on solid ground in Krioval without all the distractions that keep me cooped up in Torokara or else in Parliament. The thought of another global conference on - Gods, just about anything - would probably drive me to my limits, so I'm glad that I can write in my calendar "Vacation" rather than "another bloody conference"! I'll make the necessary preparations here; please let me know when you're ready to receive visitors.

Queen Cora had been going about the daily grind when a messenger came. A welcome site, really, for the the young queen.

"Your Majesty, this just arrived," the messenger said as he approached. He bowed and extened his hand with the letter in it. She took the letter and dismissed him, reading it over. I was an invitation from Lord Indigo Blue of the Blood Dynasty. She had never met the man, but none the less felt the words in his letter reach to her. Cora had been doing the same thing over and over again, making things rather dull.

She pulled paper out from her desk. It both had her family crest and nation's flag on it. Use for letters that were formal, but not from the government. She began to write.

Dear Lord Indigo Blue,

I would be delighted to accept such an invitation. Your proposed break on monotony sounds rather inviting. I can't remember the last time I was out to a function that was just a friendly gathering of nations, rather than a political debate or ploy. If you don't mind I would like bring my elder and younger brothers Prince Daniel and Prince Dranon (respectively) to such an event. They too need to break free from the staleness that is our current lives. I greatly appreciate you invitation, Lord Blue. May the weather be fare for you and the gods protect you and your kin.

Indigo was only slightly annoyed to find that he had just committed himself to attending the wedding which was soon to take place in Iuthia, meaning he couldnt quite relax as he had hoped. Still, although he couldnt attend his own event as first thought, he had decided, and figured that his right-hand man and best friend, Malekai de Sakoen, could actually attend the event instead. Anyhow, he too deserved a break from the stresses of this nation, and of the world for that matter. Sending a message from the plane before it left, Indigo replied to the new message, and to Krioval, and also sent another to the world informing them of the development.
