Nation States News Network
There'd be a Nation States News Network website which would have news like:

- Roleplay news
This means news about on-going RPs between nations. Example:

Nation 1 and Nation 2 are having an on-going RP about a war. We can post news about it on the Nation States News Network. Like: "Nation 1 declares war on Nation 2". Then later when Nation 1 attacks Nation 2, we can post news again, in a realistic "news reporter" manner: "Breaking News: Nation 1 attacks Nation 2 with xyz weapons, resulting in XYZ damage and casualties in XYZ area."

We can also cover news about other RP's. It doesn't have to be a war. Anything. Terrorist attacks / hostage-taking / Anything RP related.

We may also cover United Nation news. That's all the topics I could think of. If you have any suggestions, please post in this topic. (Ofcourse, I'd first like to know wether this idea is good or not)

News will be posted by "NSN Reporters". These will be manually selected by the NSN Admins. I will let you know when NSN starts accepting reporters. (People would be able to apply for the position by using this forum or something, I'll decide later) I may also need another Admin(s) if this idea is liked by the members of NS. :)

Has been suggested before. Is totally impractical because NS is a set of seperated micro-realities and not everything that happens happens everywhere [or in some cases anywhere].

The other problem is linking to threads and describing them is kinda pointless and spammy.

Any chance you could report on the NSF1 championship going on? It would be great publicity, trying to get as many people to notice as I can.

We will be covering all RP news. So yes, that'd be covered too. Right now I'm trying to see wether people really like / want this or not. If they do, then I'll go ahead and put up the website. Oh, another idea popped up into mind. We'd also do RP interviews and the like. Like after a hostage-taking situation is fine, we'd do an RP interview with the hostage(s). At the moment, I'd like to know wether people are interested or not. So if you are interested, please post and let me know. And if you're not, please post, with a reason, and let me know. :)

Well I think it'd make RPing more interesting for people. You just "imagine" as if it's all real. You could do the same with the news system, I think. :)

Alternatively, leave the news reporting to "background noise" in RP's.
