Official announcement of the United States States President
“Friends! Allaneans! Citizens of the Empire!
We have been together for years. We have fought many threats. But we must not forget what is the main threat to peace – to our way of life, whether a shopkeeper in Allanea, a nobleman in Reichkamphen, or a common worker in Nanakaland. That threat is communism – socialism, they sometimes call it – but it’s a threat by any name.
Today, I announce the strengthening of the Allanean Rapid Deployment Force by two air armadas and one Predator-class superbattleships, both of which are en route to Mexico, in order to better protect us and our allies from that threat.
Socialism, the doctrine that demolishes property, one of the main bulwarks of personal rights, is not ‘yet another political doctrine’. Communism was the cause of death for millions – from China to the USSR to Cambodia, communism murdered. Yes, citizens. Reagan was right. Communism is evil.
