If you have clicked into this Thread, you have interest in taking part in an RP. A cooperative story, multi tiered, character Role Play, which will last theoretically as a perpetual RP comparable to the length of the Steel Butterfly Civil War, where detail will surpass that of the key of a Corinthian Column, and writing style will rival the audacity of Anne Rice. Creativity will not be restricted, and interaction will flow through many different levels each eye opening and enriching to one owns writing sense as well as mind.

Now. To begin, this story will be following the path of Divit Hackett, the Renegade. After having thrown a Nation into turmoil, ravaging many servers with anything and everything within cyberspace, destroying lives, throwing many things askew with a giant Corporation, and rocking political climate; Divit Hackett is on the run from Insanity, desperately seeking refuge from her own mind in any way possible. As a vagrant, she has no destined path and no order which to follow, searching for only a way to escape from Insanity. Her alias, as she now calls herself, is Ishmael. Wandering with anyone by any path shown to her.

Just watch out for her... Insane part. If anything stand in her way of achieving what is the pick of the day, Ishmael will stop at nothing to obliterate it- Possibly even loosing sight of her objective.

Of course, this is a rough sketch of a possible Start. I have no intention of defining an end. As you can tell by the format, anything is possible, and I stress anything. If you think of it, include it. However, the door is not wide open. While yes, I would love for everyone to participate, I hold as a prerequisite that you know what FUN is. Although being able to differentiate between an adjective, verb, and noun are important as well. Adjectives are your friend. So are literary devices. Yes? Also, you must be commited. I don't want someone dropping out halfway through. Unless of course you're having a baby or something. I'm not a monster. :rolleyes: Much of this will be worked out by any interested before it kicks off the ground, of course.

For anyone who's been looking for an RP, anyone who feels neglected in NS, or anyone trying just to have Fun, as that is all our objectives- Please, show some interest.

First, what is it with you and insanity?

Second, I am all for detail. But could you keep yourself to this side of allusion and not make me wonder if I'm hallucinating?

Really the whole "I am the Sun, I rule over all I shine upon" buisness got a bit annoying quickly. Especially when I couldn't quite put my finger on if you were just being cute and declaring "I rule all that I look upon," or your character had gone into uber meglomania and beleived she ruled the entire known universe. In the end I though somone should just give her a box of chococolets with nero-toxin and nuggut centers and be done with it.

Normally I don't use an Insane Character, per se. Nokona I just want out of the way so I can have a New Regime installed, with some semblence of order. Libertarian got old quite quickly. That's why I had her go on a Psychotic streak, so someone could step in and remove her.

But Divit Hackett is an old character I've used before, and one which I want to spend more time writing with. She was Insane looong before Nokona hit Menopause. Yes, Nokona thinks she rules everything. I'm glad that thread evolved into a Comedy, though. It wasn't really going anywhere with a serious tone to it. No one likes the Psychotic Self Serving Monarchs these days... Although she does have Schizophrenia. Point is, she'll be gone soon, and my goal will have been reached.

I love rich detail, but I rarely go into such genetically cocaine induced writing fits. Usually I save that for the Start and Finish of a thread, or for the extremely important points.

A: I was thinking of the emergence of Ishmael within some seedy underworld somewhere off and far away. You know. Dingy dark alley, smoky back room, etc etc etc. Not that this is cemented or anything. Heck. It could even start off with a gigantic firefight between a few vigilantes, police, and zee Renegades!

A: No, that wasn't a question at all. Good observation. I just wanted to point out that you will not be able to type more than [#] lines without crashing head first into a plot twist.

Q: What character would be appropriate?

A: As long as we can get them involved, and worked into the story, it really doesnt matter. Remember, I don't plan on this being resolved in a single thread. However, don't go too wild. Can't exactlly do anything with a twelve foot DAEMON of UBER prancing about with N00KZ 3Y3 and OMGINVISIBLE. I myself prefer mostly Human, or Human[ish] characters. Characters that seem mortal, I find fun to write with. Not to say that Angels are unacceptable Fantasy Tech Trash of Dhoom. ;) Long as its well written.

A: Reason. This will play through many different settings. From ER to Law and Order, from 24 to Joey: In terms of Television, that is. :D So honestly, I would love to see a Low Level Mage on his way to an Orbital Service Station. Just don't mix them too absurdly.

Okay, thanks for clearing those few things up. I'll submit a ex-military soldier/heli pilot turned mercenary. He'll do anything reasonably violent required of him, so long as he's paid enough (Bodyguard, assassin, one man army, bounty hunter, etc). Will post details later/tomorrow.

Not all of us are madmen there Midlonia...some are mad women...or mad walruses And I have not seen any foaming at the mouth. Maybe wide eyed madness, or this is so illogical its genious but no foaming. Unless maybe I missed something with North Germania.

(I am thinking just a plain ordinary guy, with one serious problem, an unfortunate love for Divit. Ah yes the poor sap who has unrequited love for an insane woman. I just love tragic characters....)

What I do know is that we're all not going to be able to jump in at one time when we first begin, or at least in one Thread, as that could get messy fairly quickly with the number of people that are going to be taking part in this. Imagery is best saved for the story, Oui? I always love a healthy sized expository... Although, I do expect every Character to have a specific ROLE to PLAY. Cause. Its a pun. [ -Crickets chirp- ] Well. Something like "That wholesome country girl who moved to the big city and was taken under the wing of the rough around the edges janitor with a heart of gold." Or even, the janitor.

You know, such as- THE LOVA', The Crush, The Harlet, The Cop, The Government Worker, The Sanitation Worker, The Mildly Violent Foil Character, etc etc etc.

This is a Bump. You may have realized that this is a Bump, as it has had the desired effect of, if you will, "Bumping," this thread to the top of the Forum. Said Bump is used in such a way as to grant exposure to a Thread which has dropped to the bottom of the Forum, a few pages in, where previously it had been swathed in secrecy. A Bump is diffrent from a Mump, in that a Mump, while if posted on a Thread will Bump a thread to the top of the Forum- Does not have the same connotation of Bump, and indicates some form of disease. In which case, a Mump, while delightful to say, might in theory be the inverse of a Bump and drag a Thread down further in the Forum. However, this is not a Mump, simply a Bump. This must be clarified as to appease the almight Max Barry who presides over and provides for his Ns patrons, as they twist his clever marketing device to their liking, and as to succesfully Bump this Thread in a way which would not be Tacky.

The above was a Lump rather than a Bump, in that it is larger and more serious in nature. Since a Lump takes time for the average Rper to read. As such a lump should be taken seriously and the thread should be posted on by new Rpers to reduce the swelling of the Lumps created by the threads author.

This is a poke of the lump, desined to illustrate that a player has not wandered off and ignored the thread, but is waiting for something more substatial than a mere bump.

Unfortunatly poking some lumps causes a sticky, gooy mess to occur. And has been known to induce in-flaming of the thread.

To prevent this, remember to salve the author of the Lump with witty and positive comments.

If you haven't recieved a TG it means you've already supplied your character. :D I'm trying to find a place for everyone now, and to do that I need to know who will be in it and what Role they will be playing.

I'm terribly sorry, but I'm in deep **** at school. I was sick for 3 days, missing 4 tests, 1 quiz, and more work than seems humanly possible. I'll have to bow out until Saturday or Sunday... I can come in at that point though. It may be better for the story for my charecter to appear in the center, and then stay till the end though...

Well, since it's on Aurora Prima, I hope you don't mind me taking the position of co-GM. I'm also going to be the OMFGKILLISHMAEL faction (ie: the other Agents, lots of angry people on Aurora Prima). Plus, I've already taken the liberty of posting in the IC thread, as you can no doubt see.

Jokes on you. Ishmael is hell bent on getting off Aurora Prime. I have a story arc planned out, if only partially. And in that, is her leaving on a Shuttle off Aurora Prime to get to Earth, or Epsilonia, or some other random destination. It's a Commercial Flight this time, Cyber, no convinient Crsyindomian Cargo Holds- And I'm planning on a much shorter flight. n_n

Take it from me when I say this, writting an RP of this scope is not an easy one. For example Steel Butterfly's Civil War was only part of a much larger story, a story that we are still writting even to this day.

Out all us that took part in the start there was but a handfull that RP'ed through the entire thing. It took alot of work via OOC conversations to actually come up with a finished product. The story has to be well thought out for something of this scope to work.

Conri Aodhfin. He will be an outcast running from mafia debts. After he injured himself badly in the NoF mercenary army he took to gambling and has huge debts to pay off. He will do just about anything to get money. Has had exstensive military training, and can handle most weapons with ease. He will be wandering around the alley.

I don't mean to be offensive, but please learn grammer and spelling. It's not my call but I have a feeling that if your grammer and spelling doesn't improve then your not gonna be allowed a character.

Hey, Christac, dude, sure thing. Let me just go get my WTF To English dictionary, look up "charicter," use it in a sentence to cement my understanding, and then let you enter with a charicter.
