Moderator: Good evening and welcome to the first and only with the Lord Sovereign Boris Van Burg and his opponent. The opponent is Angelina Castellini of the Socialist Party, she has won in the primaries against the other parties and is the official challenger. Good evening. Van Burg the first question is yours: How do think you have ruled?
Van Burg:I think I have been a just ruler. I am compassionate and have made Kervoskia prosperous.
Castellini: Under you political freedoms are rare. The economy is strong yes, but you did not start that, the former, and late, Prime Minister Vladamir I did.
Van Burg: First of all you are lying, political freedoms are some not rare, that is a gross overstatement. When he came to office the economy was good but under him it turned into fair.
Castellini: But he tried to change that. He opened Kervoskia's borders and set the policies that you merely continued. During your first days it went into a great recession, it turned into a basketcase.
Van Burg: I got that from him. I made it strong by strengthening diplomatic and trade relations.
Castellini: But at what cost? You have made the people virtually political slaves!
Van Burg: Then why am was I made Lord Sovereign?
Castellini: You made yourself so by replacing most 101 member House of Representatives. There were: 20 Nationalists, 1 Free Beer, 50 Plebians, 5 Reforms, 5 Patricians,10 Socialists, and 10 Unionists. Now there are 10 Plebians, 5 Socialists, 5 Free Beer, 2 Unionists, 8 Reforms, 0 Unionists,40 Patricians, and 41 NATIONALISTS! You put your own people in and they voted 91 to 30 for you to become so, and might I add that only the Patricians and the Nationalists voted for it.
Van Burg: I believe your math is incorrect.
Moderator: Next question for Mrs. Castellini. How would you govern?
Castellini: I would allow FREE elections and never meddle with membership. I would end many of the policies such as public execution and free the 1,300 prisoners who are slaves because of their differinging views. I would not end all trade but have a firm grasp on it, I would end much of it. I would try to bring socialism, and later Communism, into Kervoskia.
Van Burg: What experience have you?
Castellini: I was a Representative in 72th district for 10 years, may I point out that you were only a Representative in the 5oth district for 3 years before you ran?
Van Burg: And yet I'm doing so well.
Castellini: Under you we had to flee our region because you almost caused a war that we could never afford and caused over 18,000 peacekeepers to come in to help 100,000 "rebels" as you call them, escape.
Van Burg: I was very coopeartive and there was no war. Also during the last election your party receive les than 10% of the vote.
Castellini: May I add the House had to force this election out of you.
Van Burg: They could of let me serve the rest of my second term rather than have it in mid-term. You Socialists are too eager to take over. There were similar problems under Vladamir I.
