OK, this is my first attempt at an RP, and I'd lke to have it in order, so my idea is the blooding of a young predator hunter (me) on a Pyode Amedha (human) or Kainde Amedha (Xenomorph/Alien) which ever sparks mreo interest. It would be set in the future to give any humans in it a better chance (more sporting I'd say) the Yautja would have all the standard weaponry but I'd like to leave the Humans choices open so almost anything goes. Set probably either in space or in the jungle, if anyone has any question or comments, please post to let me know.

Name: Black tusk
Height: 2.3 metres
Weight: 230 lbs
Weapons: Shift suit(cloaking device), combat staff, wrist blades, shoulder cannon, net launcher, dual shuriken, self destruct
Nature: Black tusk is a typical young hunter; he wants to prove himself to be a fierce Yautja and will kill as many humans as is necessary to earn the respect of his clan

Tag, I'll watch this for intrest. I tried RPing an entire Yautjan clan, but the NS format just doesn't lend to it well. If you can pull it off, more power to ya. However, on most bloodings, then youngling would only be equiped with his or her Ki'cti-pa (wrist blades).

I try not to be to conservative with myself. A lot of times I don't follow the common canon knowledge of Yautja, with the open limitations I want for the humans, the predator can't very well win with just his wrist blades.


And isn't it the Ceremonial knife that they use?

Looks interesting, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to decline participating in this one. I just happened to get very lucky with AVP with how I developed and presented my character. It was quite accurate, quite well done. Golden Simatar was more than mildly impressed. I'm astounded hehehe!

Yautja Warriors, I am quite pleased that there is another Alein/Predator fan out there and that you are trying to get a Alien/Predator related Rp.

I will join if you give me a specific hunt your Predator is going on. If it is a blooding like in the movie AVP, it needs to be a Kainde Amedha. If it is just going to be human hunt he might kill many marines, but that doesn't make him a man in the the eyes of the Predator socitey unless he kills an alien.

On the note of the Cerimonial knife, the young Predators carry them to skin or kill thier alien victim. It would probably be used more for skinning, unless you are able to net an alien and kill it quickly before the acid blood breaks it free.

OOC: Well since we've got another RPer, it's Kainde Amedha, on the Ceremonial knife, it could probably be used to kill the Xenomorph, but I'm not sure, and I've never been 100% on whether or not Yautja Armour could stand up to caustic blood. Is it a for sure that it can't?

If you have seen the movie Alien vs Predator, it does show the Predator ripping off his melting armor as the alien blood hits it.

Yeah, I've seen it, but I know that not all movies are based exactly on what happens in other canon. Such as the comics or other mediums

Well, in all the comics, books, games, etc. I have seen of the AVP the alien blood can burn through everything. So, the Pred armor can be burnt by the blood.

I see, ok. Well since we have another participant, I'll post the Rp later today, I can only hope the TGS will be posting as the Xenomorph, anyone else who wants to join in as humans or otherwise is ok by me.
