New government takes over

Big Long Now
12-02-2005, 03:53
After six decades of communism reigning over Big Long Now, a new politcal party has taken the majority vote in nearly every branch of the national government. The Free Government Party was elected in a near landslide, the citizens of Big Long Now becoming wary of the Communism Party after a major shift of political freedoms and citizen rights.

The members of the FGP elected into office have already begun drafting multiple bills to counteract the 'damage' that the CP established over the last sixty-five years. "We feel it is our absolute duty as elected officials and citizens of this nation to remodel our government that better serves the residents of this glorious nation," said Lance Calvens, the Senate Majority Leader. "We are working overtime to fix the stains and tears that they [the CP] have washed upon Big Long Now."

You would expect that the major reaction from the Communist Party would be that of outrage, but most communist officials aren't very surprised that a new party has taken over the Senate. "Communism was never a politcal party that was able to keep itself stable, the fact that the Big Long Now Communism Party was able to run a mostly stable government for sixty-five years, is an achievement in itself. We know that one day, the CP will re-establish itself and provide more stablity and freedoms for those who seek it," The Communism Party stated in a press release this afternoon, "No politcal party can maintain itself infinately, it can never happen."
