Coeurmorant

The Kingdom of Coeurmorant will induct her new king, Richard IV, on 15 February, 2005. Richard IV has promised to bring Coeurmorant into the international community, a practice unheard of for the past 1500 years of the nation's existence.
Richard IV's distant uncle Christopher III, died only two months ago. He came from a long line of monarchs who zealously pursued complete isolationism. Consequently, much of the world has never heard of Coeurmorant.
At the time of Richard's coronation, it had a small population, only of about 9million. The nation is situated on a beautiful, large, environmentally stunning island. But it does not lack urbanisation. In the census conducted by Christopher III in December, 2004, there were four officially recognized "independant municipal provinces" (IMPs)- let's call them cities. Lèvél, with a population of 1,500,000, Baie-Laurier (1,100,000,) St. Jean (1,100,000,) and Enjorlas (800,000.) Another small city is Providence (700,000,) which although not classified as an IMP, has a sizeable population and does enjoy special powers.
The cultural and financial capital is Lèvél. The political and royal capital, however, is Enjorlas.
The southern (Lèvél, St. Jean, Baie-Laurier) and western (Providence) cities enjoy a temperate climate: summer temperatures hovering around 27 degrees Centigrade (80 Fahrenheit.) Winters usually go down to -10C (15F.)
The northern cities (St. Jean, Enjorlas) are much cooler: Summers are of 15C (60F) and winters are of -30C (-20F)
