Ok, first of all, I realize this is probably a stupid question, but here it is anyway: does all of the rping on these forums revolve around war and trade? Or is there more character rping, and people just talk about the warfare in the FAQ's because it's more complicated and needs to be addressed more.

Also, I do have some experience with roleplaying, just not anything like this. I would like to write up an IC description for my country (leaders, history, and stuff), and probably will put it in the wiki encyclopedia. I just have to get around to actually doing it.

RPing here is about anything really that has to do with your country in some way, war, trade, character RPs, a lot of different choices really

Wow you people are quick. Ok, so what exactly is the difference between "NationStates" and "International Incidents"?

Nation States is general RP, where International is more about the wars and such. Or at least thats how I've always viewed it.

Ok thanks, thats what I was thinking, since I saw war in the International Incidents description, but I just wanted to make sure.

Just a quick question:What do you prefer more, Character or War RPs?

Are you asking me? If so I would have to say character rp's, definitly. Although I've never actually done a war one. But it seems that character rp's are much less complicated, and all I have to do is write, not worry about stats and weapons and stuff.

I think that an rp that revolves around characters in a war can be fun, though.

I agree; I've never liked wanking off numbers in order to get a good result in a war RP.
