2 AM, Chukraine Time, February 10th
General Toshe Saiyan, following his immediate promotion, had flown to the Chukraine. In the two days he had been there, he had six hours of sleep under his belt. He had visited every regiment to be involved in the battle, met each pilot, overseen movement of supplies. He had made the neccessary calls, signed the neccessary documents, and rested for six hours before being woken up by a somewhat overexcited aide, and told he had a call from the Autocrat. It was brief, and to the point, and in Toshe's opinion not worth waking him up for. He was then told the invasion was to begin in two hours - he dressed, ate, and drove to the Command Post. Dear god, what a two days.

EeeuuurruuNG the ninth plane took off, flying into the sky as the next was loaded onto the elavator, and ejected upwards. The still water lapped at the sides of the aircraft carrier.

"Comrade.. we are reading a total of twenty four aircraft in the sky already."

"Excellent. There will be hundreds in the sky before long. Anyone opposing us does not stand a chance. We shall SMASH the attackers of our homeland!"

"Long Live the Motherland!" The chorus of sailors echoed, in a canon, throughout the lines of men on the aircraft carrier. Death to the fascists. The ships nearby began the chant also. The aircraft regrouped, two squadrons in the sky [twenty four craft] and zoomed off into Shen Zou, another twenty four behind them, their engines screaming in the dark sky. Screaming for vengeance.

In one great move, the thousands of trucks and tanks belonging to the Hogsweatian Army revved their engines, and in one rather straight line drove down into Shen Zou, past the Vilitov Forest (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v224/HogsweatNS/Hogsweat/MAP.gif), and in fifty minutes time in Shen Zou, advancing steadily. Every single squad, every single infantryman, where either resting in trucks, clinging onto humming tanks, or looking out the side of a Jeep, their rifle scanning the horizon for any sign of an enemy.

However, the Hogsweatian's weren't going to give the Tiburonese an easy target. Overhead, squadron after squadron after squadron of the Air Watch flying in the clouds, pristine formations unbroken, pilots ever wary. Laser guidance devices scanned for targets constantly. Beeps from sattelites indicated friendly movement, uploading data onto neural pads for use. Complete radio silence. It was eery. Every soldier felt like they were part of the grandest operation in Hogsweatian Military History since Commandos of the 92nd Regiment captured William Fabus in hostile territory. Everything was perfect. It had been practiced, in theory, what would happen, a hundred times. The Army Reservists too. It wasn't exactly a huge military force, but it was trained and elite.

Higher in the sky, a group of fourty Strategic Bombers, bristling with cruise missiles and escorted by a rather similar amount of escorts was, in a speed of around mach three, searing through the sky like a hot knife through butter, on their way to the latest signalled Tiburonese military concentration.

The country had been geared for war for years. This moment, this day, this was their time. This was their war. And they would win.

Hopefully, this small token shall be of assistance and I am sorry that, due to the political situation in Edölia and the current atmosphere within the Union of Socialist Republics, we cannot offer more.”

The First Fleet got their orders. They swifted drifted into position over Shenzhou and began broadcasting a message above and below their position: "New Haven forces are enforcing a blockade of aerospace traffic over Shenzhou. Any aerospace military forces attempting to pass through the blockade, either leaving or reentering, will be shot down on sight. No attempts will be made to disable vehicles, they will be destroyed if they attempt to run the blockade. That is all."

‘You have got to be kidding me’ Bywater stated. His eyes were concentrated on the holographic screen displaying text in front of him, a white of digital paper hanging above the large three-dimensional display of Haven and the surrounding battle space in massive arching dome that rose to the roof of the command room. On it was displayed nearly every Haven nation and their arrayed forces that could be viewed within the somewhat limited sensor ranges of the Freethinker’s various radars and orbital watchers, all compiled into the Overlord system and updated every so often.

Usually with an Overlord display the data was refreshed every few microseconds, the updates coming so fast that it looked more like watching an animation than a static display of enemy units, but because of the range of sources (every ship, plane, satellite and space borne warship was busy transmitting data through the Overlord network) the computer simply switched to updating the image every five seconds or so to catch all updates at once. This minor delay meant fast units might ‘jump’ from one position to another, and this was true with the various icons displaying the New Haven fleet holding position above Shen Zou, flashing in out of existence as scanners updated every now and then.

‘Fuck the revolution’ Bywater muttered under his breathed. He fingers tapped a few controls, the view zoomed over the top of Shen Zou, giving a clearer definition of the attack and defending forces. Because only a few satellites and semi-civilian prowler were the only nearby sensor sources, the definitions were hazy and incomplete, but nonetheless gave a clear impression of precisely what both Hogsweat and now the New Haven Socialists were up to. Bywater watched the trails of the aircraft, his brow furrowing for a moment. “We can’t let this happen. The Commies are becoming far too aggressive, they can oppress their own, fine, but not innocents spread here and there, we need to do something.”

“Its just too bad we can’t do anything now, can we?” Alexius Cereo, a ranked Pathfinder sitting in combat form in the dark shadow behind him. Even lacking armour and sitting down, he still towered over the general by a foot or so. Massive sinewy arms with leather-like skin stretched and drooped slightly with each breathe, but the shining red eyes kept on Bywater without even a flinch or a blink.

“No…” Bywater landed a fist on the display, causing a set of crack to appear where he had struck it. “Simply not enough. Not here, not halfway around the world from home.” He stared back at Alexius for a moment. “You know, I am slowly beginning to lose hope for Haven. I really am."

Lunar Orbit.

The view is that of Stars. Darkness and space surround, then the view pans, Megacity Three slides into view. In moments the vast glittering edifice fills the viewpoint. The disk of the Freeport surrounded by long streams of traffic. Pan down however and you see the bulks of the super capital capable construction bays. From one of them light streams as its doors open to space.

“This is Z.M.S.F. Management Buyout to central we are now clear of all docking clamps and all docking tubes are retracted”

The “Management Buyout” had been the first of her class, a command carrier, pride of the Z.M.S.F., largest ship in the fleet at 8 kilometres from stern to prow, her main task was as the heart of a task force. She was the only ship of the fleet large enough to carry a full logic stack, capable of backing up an entire task forces personnel. Designed for supporting roles rather than the wall of battle she was still armed. She toted vast banks of rapid fire counter shipping guns in recessed covered bays, huge ultra heavy siege missile launch cells, turreted ion cannons, and one mammoth main spinal weapon mount. Her flanks were packed with corvette bays, and frigate docking points, she could even empty her frigate bays completely to allow a cruiser to be carried. Originally much larger her latest refit had seen a swathe of the ships length removed. She was still a leviathan but now she was a sleek one.

She made her way out of the bay, manoeuvred a few hundred kilometres from the huge orbital form of Megacity Three and began to position for burn. Around her a task force assembled, battle cruisers, missile cruisers, drone carriers, the darts of black star frigates, the lumpy masses of harsh market condition class beam frigates and the contorted weapon filled hulls of destroyers.

”This formation is now designated Battle Fleet Task force four. Stand by for primary burn”

A few moments later the harsh white flares of drive flames ripped through the scene. The task force began its plodding trajectory towards Earth and Shen Zou.

"The Scarlet Empire has, due to the deteriorating situation in regards to the oppressive nation of Hogsweat and due to the current political turmoil in Edölia, immediately ordered the withdrawal of all foreign military personnel from Edolian territory, excluding those military bases leased to Pauldustllah and Iuthia. Furthermore, I wish to express our dissapointment that our friends in the New Haven Socialist Republic have sided with Hogsweat, an oppressive and aggressive nation that gives all socialists a bad name and is an enemy to the revolution."

This action does not invlove the Free Republic in any way and simply proves our point that our neighbors in Haven are selfish spoiled children that believe that they can take what ever they want and do whatever they want. It pleases us to no end that these pathetic excuses for nations will be thinning the ranks of their own dull witted populations against each other.

The Free Republic will not be involved in any manner, none of these nations involved are worth even the life of a single Retaliatory Guardsman.

Deep in space , the small, silver, oddly angled lump slowly unfolded , sunlight glinting off the cracks and frost from the point zero temperatures.

If you had another sattelite or large telescope, you may have been able to just make out the OVERC appearing on the red sides, or perhaps the vast array of sensors and loose wires and antennae.

Deep within the bowels of a COMSEC surveillance centre, activity suddenly popped into life. Kriegorgrad had resigned from its aggressive stance after the Hogsweatian war, it was not wise to irritate the puppeteer as Kriegorgrad had learned the hard way, Hogsweat was adept at having its puppets nearby and when Kriegorgrad tried to put pressure on the Hogsweatians, the strings that kept the puppets at bay became taut and quickly, the puppets came in, snapping at Kriegorgrad’s heels like rabid dogs, each one searching for the act that will give them that bit more favour from Hogsweat than their compatriots. Kriegorgrad learned it was best to befriend the puppet master but also to be sure not to loosen any strings or pull any too tight for the perfect harmony of the puppeteer would be disrupted and what use is a puppeteer without his puppets?

Kriegorgrad has long since given up its hope of claiming the land that was under the veil of the Hogsweatian outpost, instead, Kriegorgrad had quickly taken up the mantle of Hogsweatian ally in order to shield itself from the powerful puppets Hogsweat had at its disposal, however Kriegorgrad never going to be one of those nations that blindly supported Hogsweat, no, Kriegorgrad would only support when it had something to gain, no matter how mysterious that gain was.

In the dark room, filled with high end equipment, a gentle hum came from the bleeding edge equipment.

High up in the dark inky expanse of space, a Kriegos satellite changed position, its super high tech optics and imagery equipment readjusting as it switched from its position over Edolia to Shen Zhou, a hot zone for intelligence, thousands of terabytes of data were being fed to COMSEC H.Q every single second thanks to the extremely advanced information technology Kriegorgrad had at its disposal. Kriegorgrad was crude in many ways, however, its intelligence was perhaps one of the most professional groups in the world. Nothing escaped the all seeing eye of COMSEC.

How else could the people of Kriegorgrad be oppressed so effectively without someone watching them at all times.

Aumanii High Command, Vascilia County.

Overlord Rosiro was stooped over the mapping table which was ever present in high command. Head in hands, Rosiro shook with rage. General Polosh stood at the Overlords side waiting for him to calm down before delivering even more devastating news. 'Overlord, De Los Santos has blamed Hogsweat for the sinking...' said Polosh, unenthusiastically, Rosiro cut him off 'God damn it all to hell! My plan, ruined by incompetance!' Polosh sighed 'So it seems Overlord...I knew we should've kept a better eye on the money. Rosiro shrugged and said dismissively 'Its only money, not like we actually lost anything. Remove our fleets from Earth orbit. Polosh nodded in acknowledgement and turned to walk away, 'But first...' said the Overlord, 'Have them bomb Shenzhou into dust, give Hogsweat five hours to get their men somewhere safe and annihilate everything in the combat zone. God damn Tiburon, they'll pay just like the others!' A smile broke across the face of General Polosh as he clicked his heels in salute of his good friend, the Overlord of Auman, 'Your will be done Lord.'

A wide band message was sent out from the flagship of the Aumanii Task Force stationed at Earth, hidden during the first stages of the battle Shenzhou.

'Forces of Haven. You have angered Vascilia and its ruling council. Your failure in the eyes of my superiors has forced my hand and though I do not regret what Iam about to do, I realize the importance of human life and regret the actions of your governments. Your weakness has lead to your downfall. Bow before the might of Vascilia, bring your differences unto them. Negotiate your disputes. If you choose to stand up before our might, you will be knocked down. Fight us and you will be killed. Dispute us and you will fail.

Moments after the message was received the barrage began, North East Shenzhou was the first to suffer the attack. Dozens of weapons were unleashed, FAE, missile and cannon, targetting Tiburonese troop concentrations, manned and unmanned defences and even particularly notable georgraphical features were levelled. In the thirty seconds the assault lasted, over 30 million tonnes of munitions were expended by the 16 vessels of the Task Force. Shenzhou, the focus of the Overlords rage, would be destroyed.

On Mars the Aumanii military went into high alert. Reservists were put on warning, the Airforce tripled combat air patrols and the fleets assembled near Mars, should Tiburon press the attack on the red planet. Though the likelyhood that Tiburon military high command would be stupid enough to launch an attack on Aumanii assets in and around the Mars system was low, it still payed to be on guard. As always, Aumanii Intra-Continental Ballistic Missile systems were keyed in to all non-MIDAS nations and of course, in the event of an assault, non-nuclear, high yield missiles, would strike at the industrial heart of Tiburon Mars.

Meanwhile, the 1st Inverse Battlefleet, lead by the flagship SBB-01 PNS Lina Inverse, moved out of A Baoa Qu at Side 3, followed by the first four Starburst Battlefleets. Moving in formation, the five fleets moved around Luna, on their way to Haven orbital space.

At the same time, a number of submarines left the naval base at the city of Gehenna, Forodren Annon, traveling south to round the continent en route to Shen Zhou.

"The Scarlet Empire heartily condemns this latest attack. It is both unprovoked and shall do nothing but hurt the people of Shenzhou. We are therefore opening our borders to all refugees from Shenzhou. The Edolian territory of Axackal shall be left open for transit to the mainland. We hope that all other governments nearby will assist us in our work. Edolian specialist in refugee evacuation procedure are en route to Shenzhou."

The Captain walked over to the ageing screen, five large barely visable green dots were making there way towards the region of haven.

"It's about the size of a fleet of ships, however with this piece of shit, it could be anything."
Comrade Klandia hit the monitor. its fizzled and then gave up the ghost with a pathetic puff.

He trembled as the Captain walked over towards him, he knew the Captain wasn't one to push around as he had his infamous short temper.

The Captain Picked up a nearby reciver and spoke to the secretary for a short while.

he dropped the phone and calmly put his finger to a red button and pressed it, immeideatly a klaxon sounded and a map of the world flashed into life on the wall. It was interesting , as it labelled Kroblexskij and also the world, and certain spots on the map started flashing green or orange , or red.


The storm was worsening , it had become , Overcast.

OOC: Auman- no. Just no. There is no possible way you could have transported a "hidden" force from Mars to Haven two hours after the war began. One year, I could understand. Nine months sure. Two hours, no. So unless you prove that an Aumani force was in the Democratic Gulf, I'm going to ignore your Earth-based actions. On Mars, I will accept your buildup of forces- but since you never attacked, there's no reason for me to invade. So, so far, it's Hogsweat and the NHSR on that side and me, Freethinkers, Bryn, Omz, and Paul on mine.

That goes for everyone else outside of Haven, whether on my side or Hoggie's- I will not accept anything that has not been transported. The wanking should really only extend to Hoggie's numberwanking and NHSR and my tech wanking. As well as any other Havenic or transported forces. Yes. I will get anal about this. I'm not picky about many things, but this is my thing.

90 miles inside the central area of the Chukranian-Shen-Zhou border, on the Shen-Zhou side

The Tiburonese forces had finally managed to halt the initial Hogsweatian assault. They were surprised- certainly not alarmed, but definately surprised. That a third-rate nation could mobilize, coordinate, and attack they way they had done. But the Tiburonese initial counteroffensive had stopped them. With major supplies being shipped in from the Former Alliance State, Tiburonese Mobile Suits and Mobile Dolls, along with their supporting craft, were finally ready to begin the devastating counterstrike. But first, the planes had to be stopped.

The Tiburonese First Coodinated Armed Forces Division had split up into three sections, each designed to handle a seperate task. And the former President, Nova Starfighter, was charged with leading the assault. The Hogsweatians had superior numbers, while the Tiburonese had superior technology. Sounded like an even match- except for the aces that he had up his sleeve- the Sweepers Organization and the Shen-Zhou Civil Defense Force. As well as the “minor” fact that over 90% of Shen-Zhouans supported Tiburon.

Climbing into the cockpit of his Wing Gundam Zero X2, he looked gravely at the map showing a stream of Hogsweatian Army and Air Force units doing battle with the new Virgo Cubed mobile dolls, neither side gaining an upper hand. He smiled, knowing that Tiburon could afford to lose any number of unmanned Mobile Dolls, while Hogsweat could not simply absorb its losses.

He then turned his attention to the 40 bombers and 400 strategic escorts filling the sky- the ones not being engaged with the Mobile Dolls. It was time to take action.

"This is Nova, calling the Binyang Air Base. There's a large force of fighters headed here- we'll need to take them out.

With their team of 170 F-3737 Horizon aerospace superiority fighters and 30 B-892 Vortex bombers converted into missile pods, the Double Zetas were confident that they would win. Tiburon had never lost a war.

Screaming into combat, the Horizons managed to devastate the enemy time after time, each enemy fighter and bomber tearing through the early morning sky like a burst of fireworks. Hit after hit was scored on Hogsweat- the Shen-Zhouans waking up tomorrow to find hundreds of scattered Hogsweatian aircraft parts would probably wonder what turned the first part of an invasion on their land into a massacre. By the end of the Battle of Binyang, two-thirds of enemy fighters had been shot down, the rest high-tailing back into "safe" territory. It wouldn't be safe for long.

Meanwhile, in Choushongdang, the Mobile Dolls, as well as the various tank and infantry divisions comprising the Tiburonese First and Second Divisions were joined by a large force of Serpent and RGM-79N Mobile Suits, but the battle continued to rage on. In a scene reminiscent of the waves of forces that had continued to replenish themselves in North Korea when Tiburon was fighting alongside its fellow NATO members, each strike that cleared out hundreds of Hogsweatian forces was instantly replaced by two hundred. The Tiburonese forces were appalled- these people had no regard for their own forces! Were people really so beneath the massive grip of the state in this land? The battle, never ending, continued as dawn broke on the blood-stained Shen-Zhouan land- and would continue, even once the Gundams would join the battle

There were three Armed Forces Joint Divisions in Haven. There always had been. And while the first and second had engaged the main Hogsweatian line, the side was extremely weak, since they had been used to fortify the center. It was time to strike. Col. Zechs had been given command of this force as well as the Sweepers and Shen-Zhouans, just as Treize had been given command of the First and Second Infantry Divisions. He signalled to the forces now lined up on the coast and the Caras Galadon border.

"All units, head out!"

At once, masses of tanks, Mobile Suits, and Mobile Dolls head out from Shen-Zhou. Operation Forest Storm- to circle and surround Hogsweatian forces- had begun.

The Retaliatory Guard RASTER Satellite assigned to Haven caught everything happening in Shen-Zhou and relayed it to Tollan Fire Control in the Free Republic.

The new Supreme Repubican Commander, Adan Ring, took note of the opening conflict and assemble his advisors.

"Gentlemen, I have spoken with the Minister of Defence, right now we are neutral, but if this conflict expands we may need to act. I cannot forsee acting against Tiburon, what are the assessments of the forces arraying against them?"

Command General Baibars spoke up "Hogsweat is a negligible threat. In the conflict with Kriegorgrad, they even used bayonets and static tactics that were on the way out in the forties. The NHSR is a bigger threat, but manageable, with the constant schizophrenic changes in their philosophies , actions and political situations.............they would be easy to knock off balance, if we did it right."

There was laughter with the mention of 'bayonets' and Hogsweat's tactics.

Commander Ring nodded "That's what I was thinking."

Command General Itzcoatl chimed in " Hogsweat's Chukraine forces would cease to exist if we deployed three or four Retaliatory Guard Armies. Their Naval Forces are no match for the Naval Guard. They are no threat, and the NHSR is more of a political threat. We have assessed their space fleet, and their ships of the line are fierce but manageable with Project Thunderhead."

Commander Ring nodded "Let's all keep an eye on this. If we are asked by the MOD, I want to be able to move immediately."

With that headed back to their various commands.

OOC: I'd have to agree with Tiburon, I have a problem with forces showing up without having their deployment RP'ed, it's not fair to nations that took the time to deploy, and puts them at a disadvantage in being hit by forces that just instantly appear.

ooc Tiburon, Vascilia has hyperspace jump and fold technology and has had it for some time. It takes approximately 4 seconds to travel from mars to earth by hyperspace jump and in fact the fold you may appear a day before if you get lucky.. lol you guys arent FTL? i mean my ships which are on the way use Hyper space jump, go in to hyperspace 15 seconds equates to 300 light years soooooooo yeah umm we could be anywhere in the sol system in minutes if we chose. That and Auman has allies and a base there ^.^

OOC: I think that while you have obviously posted your movements in another thread, you simply did not actually inform the participants of this RP of that movement, as it would still be your responsibility as an attacker to clarify this beforehand before the actual attack happens. Although the defender should know their things too, simply it is still the attacker's to actually announce the movements in a manner that is actually relevant to this RP, even if you have posted it beforehand in a non-relevant manner.

I'm not saying that this is a necessarity, but I have to side with Tiburon in regards to this manner. It wasn't enritely his responsibility to research all about you and search all of your posts before all this (and Hogsweat didn't announce the list of all of the spacetech invaders beforehand anyways), and that as a start in the RP you should have probably at least showed your movement before you attacked anyways, instead of just surprising everyone with a post stating that you are already attacking when they still do not even know that you are going to participate, and most important of all, you already moved into the positions to attack.

Perhaps next time we could all together make our movements and preparations more obvious in a relevant manner so that there would perhaps be less confusions like this. This is just my viewpoints, but my apologies if this seems harsh.

The two flights, eight planes, reported the situation and broke to engage what they thought was a single enemy fighter or a patrol - meeting instead a large amount of Tiburonese air power.

"Kilo Six One to all units, enemy mass reported, break to engage, repeat break to ~~~"

Kilo Six Two gasped in horror as Kilo Six One and Three were ripped apart by missile fire, spinning to the side and up while his other remaining wingmate was slow to respond but finally did, side and down, instinct kicking in and their training taking over.

Juliet flight called in the rest of Juliet squadron, Romeo Squadron screaming behind it, as around two hundred extra aircraft took positions on the top half and the lower half of the Tiburonese aircraft, engaging a huge dogfight - in fact, the hugest in Hogsweatian history.

The carrier's decks grinded against the wheels of the airplane, the noise making sailors running to cover as the second wave, around two hundred aircraft set off from the carriers simultaeonously - surely picked up on Tiburonese radar but at this point it hardly mattered at this point. the Tiburonese had proved themselves strong fighters but they would be no match for the Union.

The bombers broke off and the rest of the fighters kept them escorted as the bombers went after the first spotted Tiburonese military point.

On the Ground
"Romeo Eighteen Four reporting enemy action, repeat, reporting enemy action. We are ~ SMASH ~ taking hits and retaliating." a third of the tanks at the very front of the line broke off to the left, and another third to the right - the main group at the front was reinforced with trucks and APC's with anti armour bearing soldiers inside.

Meanwhile the convoy had come to a halt but that was not going to let the Hogsweatians stop their combat advance - each flank pulled off, round the side of the convoy in a large sweep to combat whatever the Tiburonese advance. To fill the gap, a number of reservists backed by armour and helicopters behind the main advance.

Once again old connections in Hallad were aiding the Soviet Union of Hogsweat. In diplomatic talks the Soviet Union had convinced the Worker's State to send men to aid in the Liberation of Sehn Zhou. The True Directorate had finally settled on moving the 1st Republican Guard Division to fight in Shen Zhou.

The three brigades in the Hogsweatian outpost above Kriegorgrad would board their Deliverance class transports, and rondevous with the fleet which escorted them to here, would esort them to the Chukraine. The rest of the units would be taken by a myriad of aircraft to the Chukraine, which would refuel over Jondera with the help of Hogsweatian aircraft.

The aircraft would arrive within 10 hours, but the 1,500 men with the fleet would not arrive for three days. Luckily the majority of the ten thousand Guardsmen would arrive.

This is my post on the Mars forums, which, unlike Auman has mentioned, I check. Every day. This should sum up everything.

Soviet Spokesmen Welstrum Iwaladan made a statement covered by the Hogsweatian National Press regarding the removal of Shenzhouens from the area;
We will assist Tiburon and Edolia in thier efforts to remove Shenzhouens from the area. Any Shenzhouens that wish to leave have the full support of the Soviet Union and will receive compensation for their leavings from the Soviet Government. We are not barbaric. We do remind Shenzhouens, though, that the Soviet Government is willing to pay any Shenzhouens a Compensation Sum if they wish to stay which involves many excellent free options, including Soviet citizenship and a guarenteed job.

We are glad the war has ended so quickly with such loss of life.

OOC: As per the whole discussion in the OHS forums, we might still continue the war if we all ignore Auman. <>.
