I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but I want some RP advice.

I feel that I'm not RPing my country realistically, even forgetting that it hasn't got a lot to do with my actual account on NS anymore - although in that also I'm varying between choosing what i want and choosing what would realistically happen in my country. I've got a diplomatic department, but I can't get everything else together, and while I've tried to get away with it by calling my country a disorganised mess, it won't last through a good war. I think I can do this better as a dictatorship where the Leader is someone I can RP as, controls everything important etc - just centralise everything, make it all simpler.

So what I want to know is - should I start again with a new account or should I convert my current country into a dictatorship? I've got some characters I wouldn't mind keeping, and I was thinking of having some of them take over the country, but I don't know if it's worth the effort.

If you don't want to RP something nobody's going to force you to; you can just present it as something that happened in fluid time and fill in the 'missing' plot in flashbacks when you're inspired / feel like it / can be bothered.

Or if that doesn't appeal, start a new nation or group of nations from the collapse of the 'disorganised mess' into lil' states, which will allow you to restart but keep the characters you want.

But I want to RP stuff. I think I'll just try turning Resquide into a dictatorship - I just have to organise it so everyone knows I'm calling my ambassadors home and any that happen to be in my nation at the time are under house arrest throughout the revolution.

If that doesn't work I'll use the little countries option, thanks.

An ic change of government sounds like the best option.
