Auman/Hogsweat Friendship Treaty

It was a grey, soggy, day in Dorsalgrad. Though for an Aumanii, rain and clouds weren't a common sight. General Uthor gazed out of the bay window of his hotel room, listening to the patter of rain and watching as the clouds moved to obscure the tops of skyscrapers. Uthor and his team of diplomats had arrived in Hogsweat several days prior to the signing of the treaty, which had been kept completely secret up until now. The News had been playing constant reports on the arrival of a mysterious group of black clad Martians whisked away by a group of heavily armed diplomatic security guards. As one might've expected, the press had a field day reporting this. Though many had guessed as to the nationality of the Martians none had done so correctly, in fact the general consensus had been that the men were from Mangala or Sunset. In fact the men were from the lesser known state of Auman.

Teeen--SHUN!
It was that time of year again. Around the country, 19 year olds where preparing for war. In the streets, they where all lined up, about a company, doing drill excercises. National Service, oh, what a great thing it was. These teenagers, barely adults, lined up in the streets with rifles turning, manouvering, and other such military things. Next to them was a park - behind the park was a Home Guard station with a machine gun and two Home Guard soldiers smoking, watching the cadets training in the pouring rain. Behind them was a ramp into a highway. The noise was great - tanks and trucks and other vehicles leaving the city, to the north. Inside the trucks where soldiers, their grey-green greatcoats absorbing the heavy rain drops. It was a dull place.
A dull place prepared for war.

Outside the hotel, a truck pulled up, with two armoured cars in tow. Out stepped a man, in dark military uniform with rows of shining medals. General Kronev, the man that would be overseeing the Aumanii Conference, and behind him in civilian clothes, yet stilll smart, the sly Violi Vilitov, Soviet Foreign Minister.

They entered the hotel, signed in at the reception, and with a small detail proceeded to the conference room. After they sat down on the polished, wooden chairs, the Aumanii's were signalled to come down for the first day of the negotations.

The Aumanii delegation walked down the pleasantly decorated halls of the hotel. The conference room was located not to far away from their rooms, though due to the higher gravity the Aumanii felt like they had walked much further than they actually did. Quietly they made their way into the conference room, Uthor took note of all the men, especially the civilians. 'Good afternoon Comrades, Iam General Uthor and these are my adjutants. Ridk and Folzer.' Uthor pointed them out to the Hogsweat staffers as to avoid any confusion. Both of the adjutants along with Uthor were of typical Aumanii stock. Tall, dark haired and heavily tattoo'd. With introductions out of the way the Aumanii sat in their seats. Adjutant Folzer removed some dataslates from an attache case he had been holding and slid them across the table to their colleagues. 'Im sure our superiors have discussed the terms of the treaty beforehand and that they were satisfactory?' asked Uthor. Ridk reading from the slate explained the terms to the Hogsweatians to save time.

'The Terms of our agreement being:

-Both parties included in the treaty will responsible for the actions of the other and to it, support one another to what ever end.

-Parties included in this treaty will enjoy the benefits of free trade with one another.

-Aumanii observers will be stationed in Hogsweat for as long as this treaty is in effect in exchange for financial support, to be determined by the sender, from the afformentioned party.

If there is anything the Hogsweat delegation would like to add, please do.' The delegate sat down heavily in his seat, the gravity getting the better of him.

General Kronev gave a friendly smile.

"We agree to all terms. We welcome our alliance with the Aumaniis! Long live the Aumanii-Hogsweatian Alliance!" he reached out to shake hands with the Aumanii's while an aide patched it through to the Autocrat for signing.

Uthor took General Kronev's hand and shook it tightly. 'Long live the alliance!' mirrored the Aumanii. 'Long live Hogsweat.' said Uthor as sanctioned Aumanii and Hogsweat media photographers snapped pictures of the historic event.

Kronev pulled back the warm handshake after it had overstayed it's welcome.
"Yes. Long live Auman." as the general finished, two glasses of vodka where brought in on either side of table. Kronev raised his and waited for the Aumanii delegate to raise it also.
"A toast. To our alliance. To Auman. To the Soviet Union. May our two great nations prosper eternally"
