"The Commonality Economic Court, after due deliberation and consideration, hereby declares the following orders to be issued and thus legally binding for the next year on trial-basis with a further order expected to solidify the status of said order at the decided date in three hundred sixty five days time:

"The following states have been granted potential improvement in economic ties, pending acceptance; these improvements will consist of a lowering of resource tariffs, electronics tariffs, and luxury tariffs at the flat rate of -4% to the current rate of 16%.

"The states affected are, in alphabetical order: the Sacred Sindarin Empire of Aelosia; Craftworld Tor Yvresse; Knootoss; the Confederation of Milesia; Lunatic Retard Robots; the Federated Segments of Scolopendra (to whom the offer of MFN status is hereby proferred, with the authorization of the Unified Commonality Government); and the Federation of Sentient Peoples.

"In addition, the state of Santa Barbara has been granted a full waiver of import tariffs for the next two years, or until such times as this Court alters the decision, or whichever may occur first."

Government message to Parliament


To the assembled Staten-Generaal of the Dutch Democratic Republic of Knootoss,

The government of Knootoss hereby notifies the Staten-Generaal that it has amended the bilateral trade agreement concluded with the Iluvauromeni Commonality of Everlasting Light in accordance with proposal 0113/2xxx by the Commonality Economic Court, setting agreed resource tariffs, electronics tariffs, and luxury tariffs levied by the Iluvauromeni Commonality of Everlasting Light at the flat rate of 12%.

As per constitutionally established procedure the amendment to the agreement will be automatically ratified unless a qualified minority of parliament objects within three months after this announcement. The Knootian International Stabilisation Treaty Secretariat has been notified of this change in standing agreements.
