Scores Generation:
The Scores will be generating using the newest Hockey Score Generator, the VSS-H Generator tweaked and tuned using Excel and built from the ground up for Hockey, using Statistics from the NHL Scores department to compare accuracy.
RP Bonus:
As always, there will be an RP Bonus to reward those who participate in the competition by giving them a slightly improved overall chance of winning. However, unlike any previous event, you will no longer be guaranteed short-term improvement with your RP's. The RP Bonus will be regulated from match to match, making it so that on any given matchday, any team will be able to have an RP Bonus greater than or equal to that of their opponents. There is no longer a guarantee that your calculated RP Bonus in a single match will be greater than your opponents simply because you have RP Credit.* Please take this into consideration when planning your RP's for this tournament, and do not get stuck in the mindset that you will be at a disadvantage if your opponent posts more RP than you. Again, RPing will still improve your overall chance of winning, but RP Credit can no longer be associated with your actual calculated RP Bonus for a match-by-match comparison between two teams.
*RP Credit = The Traditional 'RP Bonus', It is a number that rates the quality of your RP Contibution to the cup
*RP Bonus = The Fraction of your RP Credit that is inserted into the formula to improve your chance of winning. This number can be any number between 0, and the number of your RP Credit
