Me and few others have been making plans to hold an NS-wide Civil War RP, which shall loosely resemble the American Civil War. There will be a Union side, and a Secessionist side. The RP will start just before the war, which will be caused by two regional leaders feuding between each other (these two positions are still available). Other nations will then be able to join the side of their choosing (though we are hoping that the Union will at least be slightly larger than the Secessionists), the Secessionist side will seceede from the Union, and the war will begin. The two regional leaders will become the President of their respective side.

Like the American Civil War, the NS Civil War will be in the 1800's time period, and will only feature weapons that were available in that time period as well.

The victor of each battle shall be determined by a panel of judges (1 pro-Union, 1 pro-Secessionist, and 2 Neutral) after each battle has concluded. These 4 judges will not be participating in the RP, and will be volunteers who have agreed to be a judge and not post in the RP.

We have decided that there will be either: 3 neutral judges; one pro-union, one pro-secessionist, and two neutral; or one pro-union, one pro-secessionist, and one neutral.

This will depend on how many of each type of judge applies.

This sounds like a fun thing, so count Nieder Ostland in! But... As I, unfortunately, for the time being dont have any access to the internet on weekends (it sucks, I know) I don't think that I would be a very good president ofr one of the sides. (Hm, any need for a weapons smuggler? -s- )
Anyhow, I would like to play for the south side.

You looking for a judge? If you are, I'd like to take one of the neutral positions. It's a good excuse to read the thread too!

For those who want to know, the Remington 1852 revolver is probably a pretty decent choice for 19th century warfare.

A Smith & Wesson .45 is probably also a good choice.

I am interested in participating in this RP. I don't think I will be able to post as often as I'd like due to my computer being a relic from the early middleages, so position of president for either of these sides wouldn't be a good idea.

I'd be happy to join the Secceccionist side.

I am signing up to be a pro-secessionist judge; because I like rooting for the underdog.

I am interested, and will play on either side that needs someone, or I can be a neutral judge... whatever is needed.

I would sign up for this RP (I don't prefer a side), but I just don't have the necessary time available to me. Therefore, I will apply as the neutral judge.
