South Haven Strait Reopens! [USR, OHS, Haven]

The constant radio messages being broadcast out from coastal defense stations, warning military vessels not of USR registry to turn back, faded out as a new message permiated the airwaves:
"The South Haven Strait is reopened to limited military traffic. Non-USR military traffic will be confined to specific routes while within 50km of the defense batteries and coastline. Please follow Coastal Defense Command instructions for your safety, thank you."

The Free Republic will no longer be conducting any naval security operations except in Vaadian waters and the immediate surrounding regional waters. The Naval Guard will no longer take the additional step of protecting regional shipping or combatting pirate operations within the Haven Straits. The Naval Guard will also no longer respond to naval movements by non-Haven states within the Haven Straits.

OOC: It was closed? That probably explains why all those warships dissappeared every time we sent em north....

The Galadisian Government is pleased with this action of re-opening the southern straits. We were not aware of their being closed, but that may be because our vessels do not regularly pass near them, prefering to go north to reach our trading partners. However, we are pleased with the action anyway. We will of course be abiding by the conditions
