The spaceship had been drifting wit barely enough power to move for 3 weeks since the attack on there squad of deep space battleships.
Private Alen-Sir! We have found a planet that might support life! Sir!
Cmrd Jenkins- Scan the area for life or traces of water or metal
*Random beeping as the scan commences*
Private Alen-Sir!No traces of metal but many life forms and a water supply to supply us for weeks Sir!
Cmdr Jenkins-Acknowledged.Bring the ship down in afeild so we can set up a base camp!
Private Alen-Sir! Yes! Sir!
*3 hours later*
Private Alen- Sir! We have found a area to land. about 250 KM away from what seems to be a lake Sir!
Cmdr Jenkins-Bring us down!
Private Alen-Sir! Yes! Sir!
*10 minutes later*
Private Alen- 500 meters out!

On the surface of the planet, designated by a numerical value only, a building waited. It was a strange construct, built in a shade of gold with dark blotches, and it was the origin of the 'laser' that had shot down the intruding craft. What it was doing there was anyone's guess, and there seemed, barring the energy discharge itself, to be no signs of life on the surface from the low building, possibly the entrance to a bunker.
