A large carrior (I know I may be copying but think of the show battlestar Galactica) transits from FTL and comes to a stop its pure black hull almost renders it invisible except that there seems to be a void with no stars where there should be as to raptor scout ships leave the hanger and head out scouting out the area maping it for their records, the only visible marking on the ship is the V.S.S. Vashteera Pride.
