ZMI today announces an open bounty for the destruction of the Draconis Federation in its entirety. This political unit has proved to be counter productive to interstellar markets and its rash and neo barbaric policies have been detrimental to our interests. Taking these factors into account we are happy to announce that for the confirmed destruction of a Draconis Federation Vessel we will offer 13 million Rungs. For the termination of a Task Force we will offer up to 49 million Rungs and for the destruction of the Federation we will offer a bounty of 13 trillion rungs. While we ethically object to genocide of civilian populaces we do advocate the destruction of this political entity root and branch. Bounties are calculated on approximate costs for our own forces to terminate the entity in question. Bounties can be collected on confirmed black box information in cash at:

Rrowl C'mef laid back against a fallen over tree watching his cubs playing off in the distance. a human male was running for his life as 12 small orange and black stripped blobs of fur were making chase only meters behind him, only of the cubs hand managed a lucky swipe that had cut deep into the monkeys back causing him to crash into the ground. It took only seconds for the cubs to surround the monkey and the cries and screams of the man were quickly muffled then silence abruptly.

It brought a smile to the patriarchs face as he watched knowing his offspring would be smarts hunters when they grew. A fimilar scent caught his attention as his aide Henrietta walked towards him, her purfume could easily be detected by a Kzinti's sensitive nose. The cubs had even detected it and were quickly bounding on all fours over to their father and his aide, their muzzles covered in fresh blood. Henrietta did her best to hide her nervousness, Rrowl C'mef took notice of it quickly sending his cubs off to play as he stood up facing his aide

"Honour one we had recieved a transmission from an unknown nation putting a bounty on Draconis Federation" Henrietta said her eye staring at the ground respectively.

"h'rrr, make a note of it, see if any of the ships in the first fleet at interested in a field exercise" Rrowl C'mer replied stratching his chin with a clawed hand.

In a dark room lit only by a computer monitor, a middle aged half elf checked her usual BBSs. A few posts on one about a wanted criminal, a murderer based on the comments, on another, requests for items illegal in the poster's nation. So it seemed, today would be a slow day. Small contracts and bounties like this were hardly worth her time. She had her eyes on bigger prizes. Another BBS was scanned, only to have nothing worthwhile. She opened up her bookmarks again, going to another site. The first few posts were trash. Two bounties for failing to appear in court, one for information on an explosion in one of the area's larger cities, and a few a few more for petty offenses. The next, however, was promising. This one, was from ZMI. Motoko had heard about them before. They were a massive nation/company specializing in military hardware. Her nation had dealt with them before, and according to rumors on the net, the two nations were involved in some top secret research somewhere. With a quick doubleclick, she opened the post.

This was a big one. For a second, Motoko's thoughts were on nothing but the mountians of gold coins that this contract could get her. Without much more thought, Motoko was on the phone, making sure that her fleet would be ready ASAP. Her captains and crew were called to her private docks in the lower level of the asteroid she called home, and recruiters trolled the local taverns for extra crew. With any luck, her fleet could be underway by that evening. Just to make sure that she wouldn't miss out on this wonderful contract, Motoko sent a quick email to ZMI.

I like the looks of your offer. I'll be joining you at Side Three with my fleet under the battlecruiser BSS Dragonheart. I hope this contract will be as lucrative as it sounds.

One by one, the ships left an out of the way spacedock in the lower end of Axis. First the Usagi class battlecruiser, Dragonheart, then the two Musai Daioh class cruisers, which were followed by four Talos class destroyers. Then came eight Serpent class frigates, four Trebuchet Class corvettes, and three Coho class combat support ships. In all, the twenty two ships were a full light battlegroup as were fielded by Bryn Shander's military. One of the perks of being nobility, however, is that you can afford to commission fully armed military hardware, and lots of it. Unlike the ships in use by the military though, these ships were equipped with normal hyperdrives, rather than the expensive and power draining astral drives. Another key difference was the black flag with a bloody heart inside the mouth of a red dragon's skill painted onto the ships, rather than Bryn Shander's flag.

As soon as the ships were in formation, they started jumping into hyperspace. First the Dragonheart, then the Fang and Talon, then, the rest...
