Cricket World Cup

This is the new place for the Cricket World Cup
The NationStates Cricket Board will be taking over from the INSCC to create the genuine cricket experience. All nations may enter by selecting a team of up to 22 players. Players must be selected into categories.

All nations are allowed to join, The draw will be on Sunday 23rd at 7pm(GMT)

All teams have to be submitted by the 23rd either on this page or the RP page below...

You can also offer to be host. This would give you an added boost to ratings.
The hosts will be drawn at random from all the entrants. If there is a large demand there may be more than one host nation. An example of a team is posted below.

If you are interested in warm-up matches, go to the Results Page and put a msg on for participation. There will be a Twenty20 day on Tuesday 16th. All nations can sign up for the Twenty20 cup. The winners will get a boost in ranking points for the WC and particpants will be seeded in the WC draw next Saturday. The draw will take place in NSCB HQ in Danieljoh, where the WC will be hosted. Venues will be posted on the RP page early next week.

The winner of the two semi-finals will play at Castleholm where a expected 14'000 capacity crowd will spectate the finale of the first NCSB WC.

The maches will be 50 overs.
Fielding restrictions will be regulated in the first 15 overs.
The semi-finals will take place tomorrow (mon) and results will be posted at 8pm. The best match report from the winners will give them a larger ticket allocation for the final.
The final will take place on wednesday and the result posted at 4pm.

How winners will be determined

1. Most runs scored
2. Most wickets in hand
3. Higher run rate in first 15 overs
4. Most wickets taken in first 15 overs
5. Most 6's
6. Most 4's
7. Least extras conceeded
8. Flip of coin
