The V.S.S. heads in sublight drive deep into space on an exploration/diplomatic mission. the small craft seemingly small but very agile slips through space with no weapons and only a lightly armored hull and sheilds depending on its manuevering ability to get it out of trouble. The captain sits in her chair listening on all channels for any replies to their message of peace. "helm bring us to a stop and ready a probe." The small ship slows to a stop. Two small doors open below the ship as a probe encoded with their message of peace and friendship is lunched into the solar system they came to.

Starlight bent, photons that had been travelling since the beginning of time suddenly ceased to be.
The massive bulk of the fully loaded Armed Trader (1) class transport seemed to stretch out as its transit drive shutdown and it began its slow decent in sol. The huge bow sensor array barely noticed as the probe proclaiming peace was smeared across the massive ablative armour covered figurehead.

the captain sighs as she lost contact with the probe ordering a sensor sweep of the area and prepare a second probe. "Captain we have a contact off our port bow, range unkown, it must of collided with our probe" she sighs, shaking her head "alright bring us to half impulse and open all channels, hailing unknown craft this is captain Lily of V.S.S Vastheera...." she stops as she lets it hang before continuing. "we believe one of our probes has collided with your craft." She ends the transmission and waits for a reply
