" It has come to my attention that an issue was presented for consideration to rid our great country of our greatest symbol, the Raven. I find this to be very distressing, and the individuals who dared to speak out against our fair Raven have been summarily dealt with. As a result, due to undo influence within our borders, from outside sources, I feel I must make the following announcement:
' From this day forward if a Raven, the symbol of our great country, is killed or maimed the person who caused such damage to our most beautiful symbol will be executed on the spot. If this action was done by any person visiting from beyond our borders they are subject to the same punishment.'
I declare this on this day January 12, 2005."
